Abstract
The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is viruses known as rotaviruses. Potential target for therapeutic is reverse transcriptase (RT), possesses an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase, DNA-dependent DNA polymerase and ribonuclease H fuctions. Imidazoles have high anti-HIV inhibitory activity, some derivates of imidazole reported drugs. 8-chloro-2,3-dihydroimidazole[1,2-b][1,4,2]benzodithiazine-5,5-dioxides and 9-chloro-2,3,4-trihydropyri-mido[1,2-b][1,4,2]benzodithi-azine-6,6-dioxides. This compounds succesfully identified anti-HIV activity. Copper is a bio-essential element and copper complexes have been extensively utilized in metal mediated DNA cleavage for the generation of activated oxygen species. It has been reported that teraaza macrocyclic copper coordination compounds have anti-HIV activities. Studies have shown that these macrocyclic complexes can react with DNA in different binding fashions and exhibit effective nuclease activities. Complex compounds are compounds in which there is an atom that acts as the central atom and trotter group of molecules that can be either neutral or charged ions. Application a metal-organic (complex) compounds, especially copper metal and derivates of imidazole. So, in this study can explore new anti-HIV candidate.

Abstract
The UV light irradiation to a solution of 1-alkyl-2-(arylazo)imidazole (L) in toluene shows transformation of trans to cis configuration about -N=N- bond. The rate of photo-isomerisation and quantum yields are influenced by internal parameters like - nature of substituents, coordination to metal ions, steric and electronic effect, protonation etc. and the external factors like solvent (polarity, viscosity, dipole moment etc.), presence of innocent (to be chemically noninteracting) and noninnocent (chemically interacting) ions or molecules. In this work the influence of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) such as - napththalene, anthracene, phenanthrene, pyrene - an innocent system, on the photochromic efficiency of L has been examined. The PAHs are π-donor and may form a π-π continuum with L which can significantly affect the motional (vibration, rotation) properties of the analyte and hence the photochromic activity. The rate and quantum yield of trans-to-cis isomerisation of L decrease with increasing [PAH] and also with increasing number of the fused phenyl ring(s) in PAH. Thus the photoisomerisation follows the rate sequence: no PAH>napththalene>anthracene-phenanthrene>pyrene. The reverse change, cis-to-trans is very slow upon light irradiation while appreciably fast in thermal process at dark. The activation energy (E(a)) also decreases with [PAH] and number of fused phenyl rings.

Abstract
The photoisomerization of 1-alkyl-2-(arylazo)imidazole, trans-to-cis, has been studied in the matrix of PEG-200 and Tween-20 in toluene medium by UV light irradiation. The trans and cis-isomers have different absorption spectra. The cis-to-trans isomerization proceeds slowly in visible light irradiation while it is appreciably fast in thermal process. The rate of trans-to-cis isomerization is decreased by 30-60% in presence of PEG-200 and Tween-20. The quantum yield of the photoisomerization is also decreased by 35-55% and follows the rate sequence: free state>PEG-200-phase>Tween-20 phase. The activation energy (E(a)) of cis→trans, thermal backward isomerization, is reduced in PEG-200 and Tween-20 phase following free state>PEG-200-phase>Tween-20-phase. The branched polyhydroxo structure of Tween-20 may help to wrap the polar photochrome more efficiently than major ether functionalized PEG-200 and stabilizes trans-isomer.

Abstract
The electronic spectra of triple-stranded complexes of Ti(IV) with bis(benzene-o-dithiolato) ligands (H(4)-L(1)=1,2-bis(2,3-dimercaptobenzamido)ethane; H(4)-L(2)=1,2-bis(2,3-dimercaptobenzamido)benzene) were investigated at the TD-DFT level of theory employing B3LYP/LANL2DZ. The influence of the nature (aliphatic or aromatic) of the spacer bridging both {Ti(S(2)C(6)H(3))(3)} units on the absorptive features of the dinuclear complexes was also studied. B3LYP/LANL2DZ leads to spectra accounting for four absorption bands. At the lowest-energy region, the most important transitions are due to ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT), in which out-of-plane ligand-centered orbitals and titanium-based MOs are involved. In going to the blue-region, a third band was detected with excitations showing an important contribution from ligand-to-ligand charge transfer (LLCT) and indeed, a combined LMCT+LLCT character has been considered. This observation seems to arise from a decrease in the metallic character of the LUMO-derivatives involved in the excitations. The origin of the absorption band at the highest-energy part of the spectrum is assigned to a LLCT. The influence of the nature of the spacer on the molar absorption coefficients (ɛ) for this band has been clearly observed. The complex bearing aliphatic spacer shows ɛ of about 5 E+4 M(-1) cm(-1), while the one containing an aromatic spacer present a value of ɛ of about 2 E+5 M(-1) cm(-1).
