Abstract
PURPOSE Business intelligence (BI) systems and tools are deemed to be a transformative source with the potential to contribute to reshaping the way different healthcare organizations' (HCOs) services are offered and managed. However, this emerging field of research still appears underdeveloped and fragmented. Hence, this paper aims to reconciling, analyzing and synthesizing different strands of managerial-oriented literature on BI in HCOs and to enhance both theoretical and applied future contributions. DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH A literature-based framework was developed to establish and guide a three-stage state-of-the-art systematic literature review (SLR). The SLR was undertaken adopting a hybrid methodology that combines a bibliometric and a content analysis. FINDINGS In total, 34 peer-review articles were included. Results revealed significant heterogeneity in theoretical basis and methodological strategies. Nonetheless, the knowledge structure of this research's stream seems to be primarily composed of five clusters of interconnected topics: (1) decision-making, relevant capabilities and value creation; (2) user satisfaction and quality; (3) process management, organizational change and financial effectiveness; (4) decision-support information, dashboard and key performance indicators; and (5) performance management and organizational effectiveness. ORIGINALITY/VALUE To the authors' knowledge, this is the first SLR providing a business and management-related state-of-the-art on the topic. Besides, the paper offers an original framework disentangling future research directions from each emerged cluster into issues pertaining to BI implementation, utilization and impact in HCOs. The paper also discusses the need of future contributions to explore possible integrations of BI with emerging data-driven technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence) in HCOs, as the role of BI in addressing sustainability challenges.

Abstract
Despite the advances in modern medicine, the use of data-driven technologies (DDTs) to prevent surgical site infections (SSIs) remains a major challenge. Scholars recognise that data management is the next frontier in infection prevention, but many aspects related to the benefits and advantages of using DDTs to mitigate SSI risk factors remain unclear and underexplored in the literature. This study explores how DDTs enable value creation in the prevention of SSIs. This study follows a systematic literature review approach and the PRISMA statement to analyse peer-reviewed articles from seven databases. Fifty-nine articles were included in the review and were analysed through a descriptive and a thematic analysis. The findings suggest a growing interest in DDTs in SSI prevention in the last 5 years, and that machine learning and smartphone applications are widely used in SSI prevention. DDTs are mainly applied to prevent SSIs in clean and clean-contaminated surgeries and often used to manage patient-related data in the postoperative stage. DDTs enable the creation of nine categories of value that are classified in four dimensions: cost/sacrifice, functional/instrumental, experiential/hedonic, and symbolic/expressive. This study offers a unique and systematic overview of the value creation aspects enabled by DDT applications in SSI prevention and suggests that additional research is needed in four areas: value co-creation and product-service systems, DDTs in contaminated and dirty surgeries, data legitimation and explainability, and data-driven interventions. Abstract
As mobile healthcare services entered the public sight with high frequency during the COVID-19 pandemic, patients are increasingly recognizing the effectiveness of mobile medical consultation (MMC). Earlier studies have investigated what influences continuance intention (CI) towards MMC, but few studies have scrutinized it from the perspective of patients' psychological distance. We formulated a framework to examine the psychological factors influencing CI towards MMC by integrating the information systems continuance model and psychological distance theory. The framework was validated using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) approach and data from 475 MMC users in China. The empirical results revealed that immediacy, telepresence, intimacy, and substitutability were significant predictors of CI, while satisfaction mediated these pathways. Pandemic-induced anxiety positively moderated the effect of immediacy on satisfaction and the effect of satisfaction on CI. Practical implementations for MMC healthcare practitioners, designers, and marketers are drawn.

Abstract
Digital ventures are flooding the healthcare market in Germany and setting new standards for innovative digital health systems and tools. A key challenge in this sector from both academic and practitioner perspectives remains the intransparency of business model configurations applied by digital health. We tackle this problem by conducting a comparative case study of 237 digital health ventures. These ventures are examined on the business model level, exploring the digital technology components of each company and relating them to the identified areas of activity. The resulting dominant combinations of the two dimensions highlight four key areas of activity and two technological core elements. Within these dominant combinations we identify intriguing configurations of business model activities. The dominant Software(-as-a-Service) logic supports the criteria of interoperability on different levels. This research contributes to the growing academic literature stream of digital technology and entrepreneurship in healthcare.

Abstract
The COVID-19 outbreak has accelerated the development of service robots. However, service robots in some hotels have been put aside despite successful adoption. This study thus focuses on hotel employees' inhibited continuous usage intention by examining the challenges of benefiting from service robots. A robot usage resistance model (RURM) has been proposed based on the results. In this model, lack of authentic anthropomorphous features and low usability as technological characteristics could influence employees' cognitions toward service robots, while robot-related excessive workloads, techno-insecurity, and techno-uncertainty as psychological stimuli could trigger negative emotional arousal, which in turn fosters employee resistance to service robot continuous usage. This study offers a more solid conceptual investigation into employee resistance to service robot continuous usage, thus allowing the development of strategies to better reap the rewards of hotel service robot usage.

Abstract
BACKGROUND There is a limited understanding of information technology's (IT) role as an enabler of patient agility and the department's ability to respond to patients' needs and wishes adequately. OBJECTIVE This study aims to contribute to the insights of the validity of the hypothesized relationship among IT resources, practices and capabilities, and hospital departments' knowledge processes, and the department's ability to adequately sense and respond to patient needs and wishes (ie, patient agility). METHODS This study conveniently sampled data from 107 clinical hospital departments in the Netherlands and used structural equation modeling for model assessment. RESULTS IT ambidexterity positively enhanced the development of a digital dynamic capability (β=.69; t4999=13.43; P<.001). Likewise, IT ambidexterity also positively impacted the hospital department's knowledge processes (β=.32; t4999=2.85; P=.005). Both digital dynamic capability (β=.36; t4999=3.95; P<.001) and knowledge processes positively influenced patient agility (β=.33; t4999=3.23; P=.001). CONCLUSIONS IT ambidexterity promotes taking advantage of IT resources and experiments to reshape patient services and enhance patient agility.

Abstract
Recently, COVID-19 has infected a lot of people around the world. The healthcare systems are overwhelmed because of this virus. The intensive care unit (ICU) as a part of the healthcare sector has faced several challenges due to the poor information quality provided by current ICUs' medical equipment management. IoT has raised the ability for vital data transfer in the healthcare sector of the new century. However, most of the existing paradigms have adopted IoT technology to track patients' health statuses. Therefore, there is a lack of understanding on how to utilize such technology for ICUs' medical equipment management. This paper proposes a novel IoT-based paradigm called IoT Based Paradigm for Medical Equipment Management Systems (IoT MEMS) to manage medical equipment of ICUs efficiently. It employs IoT technology to enhance the information flow between medical equipment management systems (THIS) and ICUs during the COVID-19 outbreak to ensure the highest level of transparency and fairness in reallocating medical equipment. We described in detail the theoretical and practical aspects of IoT MEMS. Adopting IoT MEMS will enhance hospital capacity and capability in mitigating COVID-19 efficiently. It will also positively influence the information quality of (THIS) and strengthen trust and transparency among the stakeholders.

Abstract
Research has shown that the use of big data can modify operational processes in organizations. However, little research has been conducted on overcoming resistance to the process changes needed for adoption of big data technologies. In this article, we address this gap in the literature by investigating the impact of interactive data visualization on decision-making around operational process changes with big data. Our goal is to demonstrate how the choice of visualization of workflow and operational processes impacts decisions to embrace real-time, big data technology. To do so, we conduct a case study of patient/provider interactions in a large health care practice and compare the initial state with a revised workflow using a big data, real-time analytics platform. We then investigate the impact of the data visualization strategy on decision-making to implement operational changes caused by big data. The study demonstrates that interactive data visualization of operational processes can be an enabler in overcoming organizational resistance to big data technologies in a change-resistant organization. The concomitant benefit is that big data analytics is placed directly into the hands of primary decision makers.
