Abstract
Objective As access to information grows in tandem with the growth of the Internet, access to grey literature also increases. Because little is known about the use of grey literature in nursing journals, the authors investigated the prevalence and types of grey literature citations in top nursing journals. Methods We analyzed all citations (n=52,116) from articles published in 2011 in 6 top nursing journals selected from the Medical Library Association’s Nursing and Allied Health Resource Section’s 2012 “Selected List of Nursing Journals.” Grey literature citations were identified and categorized by type. Results Grey literature accounted for 10.4% of citations across all 6 journals. Publications from governments (54.3%) and corporate organizations (26.8%) were the most common types of grey literature. Conclusion The substantial citation of grey literature in nursing journals shows that nursing scholars seek and use this category of information. These findings have implications for teaching and learning among nursing researchers and the information professionals who serve the nursing research community.

Abstract
Objective: to analyse research articles on pain and nursing issues using bibliometric
and scientometric methodologies. Method: articles in the Web of Science database containing pain and
nurse and pain and nursing were analyzed using
scientometric methods through data visualization techniques and advanced
text analytics. Result: among the 107,559 research articles found in the field of nursing, 3,976 of
them were written based on the keywords pain and
nursing, and were considered in conformity with the
scope of this study. Preliminary analyses indicated that the publications
have increased through the years with minor fluctuations. Titles, keywords,
and abstracts were analyzed through text analytics to reveal keyword
clusters and topic structures. Studies on oncology and pain in the field of
nursing have a relatively higher frequency. Conclusion: the results of the analyses revealed the characteristics of the current
literature in a broad range of areas by considering the particular
dimensions. Therefore, the findings may support present and future research
in this field by shedding light on the networks, trends, and contents in the
related literature.

Abstract
PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to describe the current evidence found in the nursing literature about robotics used to assist or augment nursing care. METHODS A bibliometric analysis of published research focused on robotics in nursing care was conducted to analyze the trends of publications. A search of the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature database was conducted. This analysis was used to determine the types and extent of robotic research presented in nursing and allied health literature, journals that publish robotic research, and the origins of the study. FINDINGS Twenty-one articles met inclusion criteria and spanned the years 2004 to 2016. The main disciplines represented by first authors in these 21 articles were medicine (n = 4, 9%), nursing (n = 4, 9%), and psychiatric medicine (n = 4, 9%). Nine countries were represented by the first author. The majority of the specific studies reported using qualitative research methods (n = 4, 19%) with reports of other research designs being used. Further analysis of subsequent citations found that 248 subsequent citations were generated from these articles. CONCLUSIONS The application of robots has been used beyond typical physical day-to-day processes as many definitions of robotics suggest. Eleven (52%) of the 21 articles described the use of robots with aged patients. In some cases, robots were used as companions for older adults, as opposed to replacing mechanical and repetitive motions. CLINICAL RELEVANCE Robotics are being used globally in nursing care areas. While a limited amount of research on this topic in nursing exists, this study of the literature offers reports of applications of robots within nursing care areas.

Abstract
Workshops have been described in the literature as a strategy for preparing nurses to publish their work and develop their writing skills. Articles about the use of workshops for these purposes have not been integrated systematically. Seventeen articles were included in the current review. The workshop method has been found to be effective for preparing nurses to write for publication and for improving nurses' and nursing students' writing skills. However, workshops must be combined with one-to-one mentoring and feedback on writing to be successful.

Abstract
AIM To identify important information on the state of academic nursing and the characteristics of academic nursing publications in Turkey. METHODS The study consists of retrospective bibliometric research. The selected sample of the research consisted of six Turkish nursing journals published between 1994-2003 from a total population of ten journals. Seventy-four issues of these six journals were included and 825 research papers were analysed. A series of classic bibliometric indexes were used. RESULTS The average number of references per scientific paper is 16.19 [+/-standard deviation (SD) 8.56]. The changes in the number of references taken from journals over time do not show strong fluctuations but were statistically significant (P < 0.001). The average number of references per paper is 17.71 (+/-SD 8.09) for research papers, while it is 14.50 (+/-SD 8.76) for reviews. The Price's index is 23.8% and the insularity index is 31.8%. CONCLUSIONS The number of references used for papers has been increasing in recent years. The use of journals within references is high while the use of books is low. The Price's index tendency is decreasing. The high insularity index observed in the articles may be considered as a negative indicator of nursing journals in Turkey.
