Abstract
This paper examines how firms have transformed and executed IT-enabled remote work initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. After examining archival data on a sample of 100 firms in Spain, we discover three types of IT-enabled remote work firm's strategies: leader, agile, and survival. Leader companies have a competitive advantage over agile companies, which in turn have a competitive advantage over survival organizations. We find that firm size was crucial to executing remote work firm's initiatives as a leader or survival. The industry significantly affected the implementation of remote work firm's initiatives during the three pivotal periods in the telecommunications industry.

Abstract
Social media has become an essential channel for the public to create and obtain information during emergencies. As the theme of public concern for emergencies changes over time, there is a lack of research on its dynamic evolution from its latent stage. This paper selects the Henan rainstorm event as a case study and extracts the theme characteristics by combining the life cycle theory and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) model. It integrates the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) and Pointwise Mutual Information (PMI) algorithms as the theme-coding data source to build a dynamic theme propagation model for emergencies. Our research results showed that the theme coding effectively verified the assumption of latent development trends. The dynamic theme model could reveal the theme characteristics of different time series stages of emergencies, analyze the law of the theme evolution of the network’s public opinion, and provide practical and theoretical insights for the emergency management of urban cities.

Abstract
For organizations, the development of new business models and competitive advantages through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in business and IT strategies holds considerable promise. The majority of businesses are finding it difficult to take advantage of the opportunities for value creation while other pioneers are successfully utilizing AI. On the basis of the research methodology of Webster and Watson (2020), 139 peer-reviewed articles were discussed. According to the literature, the performance advantages, success criteria, and difficulties of adopting AI have been emphasized in prior research. The results of this review revealed the open issues and topics that call for further research/examination in order to develop AI capabilities and integrate them into business/IT strategies in order to enhance various business value streams. Organizations will only succeed in the digital transformation alignment of the present era by precisely adopting and implementing these new, cutting-edge technologies. Despite the revolutionary potential advantages that AI capabilities may promote, the resource orchestration, along with governance in this dynamic environment, is still complex enough and in the early stages of research regarding the strategic implementation of AI in organizations, which is the issue this review aims to address and, as a result, assist present and future organizations effectively enhance various business value outcomes.

Abstract
Social media applications have increasingly become a valuable platform for personal communication and knowledge sharing in working life. Several researchers have considered the direct role of social media usage in influencing job performance. However, limited studies explore how social media use may impact employees' job performance, especially in innovativeness. Moreover, inconsistencies in the findings exist in the literature regarding whether social media improves employees' job performance or causes harm. By adapting the stressor-strain-outcome (SSO) model, the present study investigates how WhatsApp use at work can predict social media overloads that might induce technostress and, subsequently, affect employees' innovative job performance. Thus, 206 Malaysian employees from the government and private sectors participated in this study and the data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that social media, predominantly WhatsApp, used at work has a mild but statistically significant influence on information overload, communication overload, and social overload. In addition, information overload and communication overload positively influence technostress, except for social overload. Subsequently, technostress does not have an impact on innovative job performance. This study provides theoretical and practical implications for extending the knowledge and mitigating plans and efforts to improve employees' performance at work. Therefore, this study helps mitigate the dearth of research pertaining to the roles of social media use at work on employees' innovative job performance.

Abstract
Trust in social media information is gaining in importance and relevance for both companies and individuals as nowadays contemporary society is confronted with a wave of fake news about daily life situations, brands, organizations, etc. As it becomes more difficult to accurately assess social media information and to determine its origin or source, as well as to be able to double-check information spread across different Social Networking Sites (SNS), businesses must understand how individuals' perceived control, concentration, and time distortion enhances the social media usage, thus allowing them to correctly assess online information. Therefore, the scope of the paper is to assess, based on a conceptual model, the antecedents of trust in online information about companies by considering users' perceived control, concentration, and time distortion, while browsing social media networks and sharing fake news about companies in SNS. With the help of an online survey, data was collected from social media users, later being analysed with SmartPLS. The findings suggest that social media usage and sharing of fake news mediate the relationship between users' perceived control, concentration, and time distortion (i.e., flow characteristics) and trust in online information about companies.

Abstract
The purpose is to improve employees’ initiative and innovation performance and further improve the overall organizational efficiency of colleges. From the perspective of health psychology, this work analyzes the internal mechanism between leadership empowerment behavior and employee innovation performance at China Agricultural University. By introducing two intermediate variables: task-based psychological capital (PsyCap) and innovative PsyCap, this work puts forward a lightweight deep learning (DL) model. It constructs the college organizational innovation performance (OIP)-oriented internal evaluation system from four dimensions. They are personal development support, power appointment, participation in decision-making, and work guidance. Then, the proposed lightweight DL model reveals the internal relationship between employees’ innovation performance and innovation factors using the questionnaire survey method. Overall, 360 questionnaires are distributed. The results show that the average values of the four dimensions (S, P, D, and G) of leadership empowerment are greater than 3, which are 4.3144, 4.3493, 4.4253, and 4.5286, respectively. S, P, D, and G represent empowerment, decision-making, communication, and innovation, respectively. The results show a high level of innovation performance in all dimensions. The finding proves that the influencing factors of employee innovation performance mainly include personal development support, empowerment, participation in decision-making, and work guidance. The effects of different dimensions vary significantly. Finally, the lightweight DL model can improve the analysis accuracy of the college OIP-oriented internal evaluation system. Therefore, college leaders should use the DL model and empowerment behavior to improve employees’ psychological quality, innovation enthusiasm, and work efficiency, ultimately benefiting employees.

Abstract
Innovation is considered to be a dominant cause for sustainable business success. Knowledge management and intellectual capital are powerful tools to promote innovation in the organization. Therefore, this study aims to explore the influence of knowledge management process and intellectual capital on innovation with the mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation and moderating role of leader education level. Data were collected from a sample of 393 IT firms listed in the Pakistan Software Houses Association and applied a partial least squares structural educational modeling (SEM) technique. The results show that the knowledge management process and intellectual capital have a positive effect on innovation. Moreover, the study confirms that entrepreneurial orientation partially mediates the relationship between knowledge management and intellectual capital on innovation. Furthermore, the moderation effect of a leader’s education was confirmed for the knowledge management-innovation relationship whereas, the moderation effect of the leader’s education on intellectual capital and innovation relationship was insignificant. Recommendations for practitioners and future research directions were also discussed.

Abstract
PurposeWith the emergence of COVID-19 and increased infections, organizations urged their employees to work from home. Furthermore, with the on-going pandemic, employees take measures to ensure individual safety and their families. Hence, work from home culture can result in long-term employee satisfaction. However, no study addresses the development of work from the home culture in an integrated framework. Therefore, the current research explores the role of safety during the pandemic, organizational commitment and employee motivation on work from home culture, which may influence employee satisfaction. Furthermore, job demands and home demands were also evaluated for employee satisfaction.Design/methodology/approachThe study used existing scales of the factors to develop the measures and collect perceptual responses from employees working from home, supported with a pre-test. The study executed a survey with effective responses from 132 individuals spread across different sectors to validate the hypotheses. The responses were analysed using partial least squares in ADANCO 2.2.FindingsFindings suggest safety concerns along with organization commitment enhances work from home culture. Such work from home culture enhances employee motivation and employee satisfaction. Furthermore, job demands and home demands also influence employee satisfaction.Originality/valueTo the best of the authors knowledge, the study is the foremost to develop an integrated empirical framework for work from home culture and its antecedents and consequences. The study has several important implications for managers.

PurposeThe present study conceptualizes and examines the interplay of transformational leadership, ambidexterity and wireless information technology (IT) competency for enhancing innovative capability.Design/methodology/approachDrawing primarily on the knowledge-based and dynamic capabilities view theory, the present study explored supply chains of a large global apparel company and their effect on innovative capability through a mixed methods approach.FindingsThe results show that transformational leaders strongly influence the development of ambidexterity and enhance radical innovative capability through wireless IT competency.Research limitations/implicationsThe results of this study suggest that supply chain integration through transformational leadership and wireless IT competency can promote simultaneous exploration and exploitation to enhance innovation.Practical implicationsThe growth of cloud and/or virtual supply chains facilitated by digital wireless communications and Internet technology is advancing logistics and supply chain innovations. With increasing global competition, digitalized supply chains and ever-growing environmental uncertainty, leadership traits, especially transformational leadership and ambidextrous leaders, can be major contributing factors for successful development of wireless IT competency to support innovative capability.Originality/valueWireless IT competency facilitates knowledge integration particularly for combining prior internal knowledge of exploitative innovation with new external knowledge to develop explorative innovation.

Abstract
This study develops a conceptual framework and investigates green human resource practices (GHRM)-green recruitment and selection, green training and development, and green reward and compensation? effects on pro-environmental psychological climate and pro-environmental behavior, which cause green corporate social responsibility (GCSR). We employ information technology (IT) capabilities as a moderator between the GHRM and pro-environmental behavior. It applies a convenience sampling technique and survey questionnaire to collect data from 388 employees at CPEC projects. Results demonstrate that GHRM positively influences pro-environmental psychological climate and pro-environmental behavior that significantly develops GCSR. IT capabilities significantly moderate the relationships between GHRM and pro-environmental behavior. The study findings add to the body of green HRM practices, strategic management, and information processing and policy makers better postulate, align, and exercise their green HRM practices for its synergetic effects for green CSR and sustainability. PurposeBig data analytics (BDA) capabilities can affect supply chain performance in several ways. The main purpose of this study was to understand how BDA capabilities could affect supply chain performance through supply chain resilience and supply chain innovation.Design/methodology/approachThe study adopted a cross-sectional approach to collect survey-based responses to examine the hypotheses. Accordingly, 187 responses were collected and analyzed using partial least squares (PLS) in the SmartPLS3.FindingsThe results showed that BDA capabilities improve supply chain performance through resilience and innovation of the supply chain.Originality/valueThe present study also contributed to the existing literature by demonstrating the mediating role of supply chain resilience and supply chain innovation between BDA capabilities and supply chain performance. In this context, some theoretical and managerial implications were proposed and discussed.

Abstract
Purpose
Knowledge management (KM) is widely adopted by organisations to improve their performance and make informed decisions. Prior research has confirmed that Information Systems (IS) play a critical role in effective KM. The purpose of this study is to examine the existing literature on the role of cloud-based KM systems (C-KMS) in small- and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) by understanding its impact on the five KM processes: knowledge acquisition, creation, storage, sharing and usage.
Design/methodology/approach
This study conducted a systematic literature review by examining 133 journal articles and 24 conference papers from 2010 to 2021 on the role of cloud computing in KM for SMEs.
Findings
This study revealed that there are numerous empirical analyses on KM processes and tools in SMEs; however, only few studies demonstrate how the whole gamut of KM processes can adopt cloud computing in SMEs. Therefore, SMEs are ineffective at KM with limited IS intervention. This paper offers a proposition on how C-KMS can impact all five KM process, thereby increasing its effectiveness of KM in SMEs. This study analysed the benefits of C-KMS that brings to SMEs in terms of availability, scalability, reliability, security and cost.
Research limitations/implications
This systematic review is restricted to certain databases (ScienceDirect, Sage journals, Scopus and Emerald Insight) and specific IS conference proceedings to source articles. The selection of search criteria and time frame is based on this study’s assessment and choice. This study adds value to our understanding of the role of KM in SMEs, and it reinforces the role of cloud computing in effectively managing knowledge in SMEs. The proposal of C-KMS for the enhancement of KM has significant implications for SMEs to effectively use knowledge for their survival and superior performance.
Practical implications
This study suggests three practical implications. First, adopting and using C-KMS provide a strong foundation to manage knowledge for SMEs in a cost-effective way. Second, C-KMS improves the effectiveness of KM by increasing availability of knowledge artifacts, which in turn aids SMEs’ growth. Third, C-KMS is useful to codify SME’s knowledge, and accordingly supports employees to acquire and use knowledge based on their requirements.
Social implications
This study discussed C-KMS with contemporary social issues, such as the COVID-19 pandemic challenges for SMEs and demonstrated how C-KMS can support SMEs to handle such crises by managing knowledge effectively.
Originality/value
This research highlights the importance of the implementation of a C-KMS for the enhancement of KM in SMEs. The review provides empirical evidence on the challenges faced by SMEs regarding KM, as they often only have enough resources to focus on a single KM process, predominantly knowledge sharing. Consequently, a holistic approach to KM cannot be realised by SMEs. In this context, the findings of this study offer theoretical and practical insights into the role of cloud computing by addressing the challenges of KM in SMEs.

Abstract
Purpose
Based on upper echelons (UE) theory, the purpose of this study is to investigate a conceptualized moderated mediation model for examining the effects of top management team (TMT) heterogeneity and firm value in China through the mediating effect of product diversification, the moderating effect of ownership type between TMT heterogeneity and product diversification and the moderating effect of executive shareholding between product diversification and firm value.
Design/methodology/approach
Unbalanced panel data were collected over 5 years with a total of 6,597 observations, organized through the WIND (Wind Economic Database) and CSMAR (China Stock Market and Accounting Research) Database. The hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling and analyzed with stata15.0 software.
Findings
The results indicated that product diversification plays a mediating role between TMT heterogeneity and firm value. In China, TMT heterogeneity of non–state-owned enterprises plays a more significant role in promoting product diversification than that of state-owned enterprises; executive shareholding strengthens the relationship between product diversification and firm value.
Research limitations/implications
The characteristic dimension of TMT is seen as a relatively static factor, and it is worth looking at whether a more dynamic system of evaluation and measurement can be established.
Originality/value
This study enriches theoretical research on TMT and contributes to UE theory in several ways. First, we studied the mediation effect of product diversification between TMT heterogeneity and firm value. This extends research on UE theory to possible process variables. Second, considering the influence of the unique institutional environment in China on corporate strategic decisions, the study investigates state-owned and non–state-owned enterprises. Specifically, it looks at the influence of ownership type as a moderating variable between TMT heterogeneity and product diversification. Third, the paper discusses the moderating effect of executive shareholding on the product diversification–firm value relationship. The research contributes to agency theory and expands research on different economic systems by implementing agency theory.

Abstract
Frugal innovation has become a requirement for success in resource-scarce environments, a situation that the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated. In this context, the literature has developed several frugal innovation approaches for promoting sustainability, but there is no a widely accepted theory nor a predominant paradigm given the incipient and relatively new nature of a research domain that requires further studies. There is also a high potential for under-exploited markets, represented by low-income consumers who no longer concentrate on developing countries and where there is a cumulative number of consumers with minimal spending capacity, rising income distribution inequality, and the increasing polarization of wealth and risk of poverty. This paper contributes to the literature by examining from a Resource-Based View perspective, the critical role of two key organizational capabilities, namely market-focused learning and organizational ambidexterity, to develop firms' innovation capability in low-end markets due to the unique characteristics of these markets. In doing so, the study employs partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with a sample of 190 manufacturing firms to provide empirical support to our theoretical predictions that establish that: (1) market-focused learning capability drives organizational ambidexterity, (2) market-focused learning capability and organizational ambidexterity foster organizational innovation capability, which, ultimately, affects cash flow, and (3) market-focused learning capability has a stronger effect on organizational innovation capability in low-end markets. Contrary to our expectations, organizational ambidexterity has a stronger impact on organizational innovation capability in non-low-end markets, considering that this is the first step to shed light on this issue.

Abstract
Our study reveals the impacts of various COVID-19-related restrictions on the culinary tourism industry by exploring how street food vendors deal with this unprecedented encounter. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews of 20 street food vendors and later analyzed using qualitative data analysis, focusing on the thematic analysis of coded interview transcripts, as a basis for generalization of our findings. This study unfolds the knock-on effects of the lock-down, social distancing, and movement restrictions imposed on the street food vendors and sheds light on how the culinary tourism industry can become more resilient and sustainable in facing a future or recurring pandemic. Understanding the dynamic impacts of the pandemic will offer insights for the culinary tourism industry and the government in the development of relevant policies to alleviate those impacts and protect the culinary tourism industry in the ‘new normal’ post-pandemic era.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted and exacerbated some of the challenges that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) face in times of crisis, disrupting their operations, weakening their financial positions, and exposing them to a wide range of financial risks. While previous studies have viewed digital transformation as a vital source of innovation and productivity growth for economic recovery in SMEs, there has been limited focus on digital transformation in the regional context, with very little attention focused on women-led enterprises. This study aims to investigate (i) the determinants of perception of digital transformation among regional SMEs, and (ii) whether the gender of the SME owner or manager has an impact on the drivers of the digital transformation experiences of SMEs operating in regional Australia. Building upon the resource-based view, this study uses a unique dataset of 281 SMEs collected from a survey conducted within a regional area of Queensland, Australia. Employing Feasible Generalised Least Squares and Generalised Least Squares estimations, the study found that the perceptions of digital transformation can be explained by the use of social network platforms, innovation processes, workplace culture, and information and communication technologies. This study also found that there is a significant difference between female-led and male-led SMEs regarding their perceptions of digital transformation. This study offers two key policy and practical insights: (i) digital transformation of regional SMEs should be used as a fundamental tool for crisis recovery strategies, and (ii) the need for policymakers to mainstream gender into postcrisis transformative interventions and policies should be fast tracked.

Abstract
BACKGROUND There is a limited understanding of information technology's (IT) role as an enabler of patient agility and the department's ability to respond to patients' needs and wishes adequately. OBJECTIVE This study aims to contribute to the insights of the validity of the hypothesized relationship among IT resources, practices and capabilities, and hospital departments' knowledge processes, and the department's ability to adequately sense and respond to patient needs and wishes (ie, patient agility). METHODS This study conveniently sampled data from 107 clinical hospital departments in the Netherlands and used structural equation modeling for model assessment. RESULTS IT ambidexterity positively enhanced the development of a digital dynamic capability (β=.69; t4999=13.43; P<.001). Likewise, IT ambidexterity also positively impacted the hospital department's knowledge processes (β=.32; t4999=2.85; P=.005). Both digital dynamic capability (β=.36; t4999=3.95; P<.001) and knowledge processes positively influenced patient agility (β=.33; t4999=3.23; P=.001). CONCLUSIONS IT ambidexterity promotes taking advantage of IT resources and experiments to reshape patient services and enhance patient agility.

Abstract
There has been substantial research on megaprojects in project management literature. However, there is dearth of studies empirically investigating performance of new launched megaproject of Thailand that named as "Phuket sandbox". The core purpose of this project is to normalize covid-19 situation and resuming tourism in Thailand. Therefore, the evaluation of project performance is essential to achieve the targeted goal for success. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that affect project performance (Phuket sandbox) in Thailand. This study used quantitative approach based on structured questionnaire and the data was collected from Phuket, Thailand. The survey conducted from team members which are tourism stake holders' team, immigration team and public service teams including hospitals and hotels who were supposed for the management of Phuket tourism sandbox operations. The study got 222 valid responses only as the members were so busy and partial lockdowns in Thailand hindered the data collection process. The proposed hypothetical model tested by partial least square structural equation modelling. The results of the study found mix findings. The independent variables are team knowledge management, interpersonal conflict, organizational trust, and as significant and dependent variable as project performance through the mediation of psychological capital. The all relationships found to be significant except problem solving competence which have insignificant relationship with project performance as well as problem solving competence and organizational trust have insignificant relation with psychological capital.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to investigate the relevance of knowledge-oriented leadership (KOL) to technology standard innovation (TSI) from a temporary-team perspective. The mediating and moderating effect on knowledge integration (KI) and leader–member exchange (LMX) is emphasized.
Design/methodology/approach
The conceptual model is built based on an exhaustive literature review and is empirically tested in terms of a sample of 341 Chinese individuals with TSI experience. Quantitative analysis was performed using a questionnaire with the bootstrapping method used to demonstrate the mediating effect of KI.
Findings
The empirical results of this study prove that KI mediates the relationship between KOL and TSI. The authors deduce that LMX moderates the positive relation between KOL and KI.
Originality/value
Few studies have investigated the innovation activities of technology standards from a temporary-team perspective. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first study to look into the underlying mechanism of KOL in TSI. This research deepens the analysis by introducing LMX’s moderating role in the innovation process of technology standards, thereby providing valuable insights for leaders of innovation activities of technology standards and illuminating new aspects of knowledge-intensive temporary-team management.

Abstract
Social media has encouraged a large number of organizations to design their work patterns to facilitate their employees through social media adoption. This study examines the effects of enterprise social media and public social media on the novelty-focused product design, and efficiency-focused product design that eventually explain the performance of the designers. Empirical analysis based on time-lagged, multi-source data set indicate that both enterprise social media and public social media are an important source of product designer's inspiration which are positively related to novelty-focused design and efficiency-focused product design. Results further indicate that efficiency-focused product design has a stronger impact on designer performance than novelty-focused design. Theoretical implications and practical implications are discussed in the later sections.

The purpose of this paper is to understand how BDA capabilities affect firm performance through supply chain resilience in the presence of the risk management culture.Design/methodology/approachThe study adopted a cross-sectional approach to collect survey-based responses to examine the hypotheses. 167 responses were collected and analyzed using partial least squares in SmartPLS3. The respondents were generally senior IT executives with education and experience in data and business analytics.FindingsThe results show that BDA capabilities increase supply chain resilience as a mediator by enhancing innovative capabilities and information quality, ultimately leading to improved firm performance. In addition, the relationship between supply chain resilience and firm performance is influenced by risk management culture as a moderator.Originality/valueThe present study contributes to the relevant literature by demonstrating the mediating role of supply chain resilience between the BDA capabilities relationship and firm performance. In this context, some theoretical and managerial implications are proposed and discussed.

Abstract
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to develop a comprehensive continuous innovation capability (CIC) measurement model in manufacturing sectors.Design/methodology/approachThe development of this CIC model was conducted through three stages of research, i.e. identification of manufacturing continuous innovation measures (MCIMs), development of measurement model, followed by model evaluation and validation. MCIMs were identified using systematic literature review and focus group discussion. Selection process for MCIMs employed the fuzzy Delphi method. To develop measurement model, contextual relationships between MCIMs were assessed using total interpretive structural modeling, followed by measurements of MCIMs weight with the analytical network process method. Then, assessment indicators for each MCIM and criteria were determined as well as mathematical model to measure CIC scores. Model evaluation and validation were performed in two case studies: in an automotive company and an electronics company.FindingsThis research produced 50 criteria and 103 assessment indicators, as well as mathematical model to measure CIC scores. Abstract
PurposeBusiness process management (BPM) has been discussed in much literature as a crucial approach to achieve firm-enterprise business performance, however in term of digital business transformation to face the current digital enterprise business era, there is still much to be explored. Drawing sociotechnical perspective of ETHICS theory, the study develops and conceptualize information technologies/systems (IT/IS) proactive capability and socialization-codification knowledge process that produce business transformation process in digital-based era.Design/methodology/approachOf the 173 company-enterprise respondents in Indonesia, the authors empirically test and validate the conceptual model using structural equation model tool-SmartPLS and SPSS statistical. The enterprise respondents were manufactures industry, construction services, hardware and software, plantation and agriculture, financial and insurance services, and other retail trade.FindingsThe authors found different findings of mediating effect and direct relationship effect. Socialization knowledge process has directly influence IT/IS proactive capability and enterprise digital business transformation. Codification knowledge process has successfully support IT/IS proactive capability, but unsupported correlation on enterprise digital business transformation. Also, IT/IS proactive capability positively influence enterprise digital business transformation. Enterprise business process suffers when the firm transform their business process into digital-based only using codification knowledge practices because documented knowledge (codification type) is not strong enough to help company in the way of enterprise digital business transformation. Mediating role show IT/IS proactive capability is crucial approach for enterprise business transformation to maximize codification knowledge practices. The findings present one fully supported results of mediation role through IT/IS proactive capability. A stronger support for enterprise IT/IS strategy in company, a high opportunity for codification knowledge practices to improve the digital ways to transform the enterprise business process. In short, the results can guide enterprise managers on how to manage their knowledge resources and maximizing emerging technologies to achieve enterprise digital business transformation.Research limitations/implicationsThe authors acknowledged that future studies would be worthwhile to create, develop and strengthen the model and its related foundation. Future research may try different concept/theory that applicable in enterprise digital business transformation. Also, an opportunity for future study is how enterprise digital business transformation in different context of industries with the current emerging technologies (e.g. IoT, big data, AI).Originality/valueThis study offers a theoretical and conceptual framework to the applicable digital-based within enterprise business transformation context. A knowledge/novel contribution of this study is the integration of a sociotechnical that highly relevant and drives enterprise digital business transformation. Abstract
Information and communication technologies (ICT) has the ability to create value by enabling other firm capabilities. Based on the ICT-enabled capabilities perspective, this study explores the direct and indirect effects between lower- and higher-order capabilities, such as ICT, knowledge management capability (KM) and product innovation flexibility (PIF), on the performance of Ibero-American small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This paper uses second-order structural equation models to test the research hypotheses with a sample of 130 Ibero-American SMEs. The results contribute to filling the gap in the SME-focused literature on empirical studies examining ICT-enabled capabilities and firm performance. The results show an enabling effect of ICT on higher-order capabilities, such as KM and PIF, which, by acting as mediating variables, create value and improve performance through innovation in firms.

Abstract
This study examines how and to what extent social and technological factors promote shared leadership that leads to team innovation in knowledge work teams. It hypothesizes that a transactive memory system influence team innovation and shared leadership conduits the relationship between them. Additionally, the relationship effectiveness between the transactive memory system and shared leadership increases with the use of social media by team members. Time-lagged, multi-sourced data are collected from the information technology industry in China. In addition, we used a network-based measure to assess the level of shared leadership in teams. Empirical analysis found support for the hypotheses of this study. The results reveal that transactive memory system is a significant predictor of team innovation and the shared leadership channels the relationship between transactive memory system and team innovation. Furthermore, use of social media by team members amplifies the relationship between transactive memory system and shared leadership. The implications of the study are discussed in the later sections.

Abstract
PurposeThis study explored the role of inter-organizational systems (IOS) appropriation in the form of five key IOS usage-based capabilities, namely, IOS use for communication, intelligence, integration, collaboration and coordination in the development of tourism SC agility and resilience. Furthermore, the inter-relationship among these IOS usage-based capabilities were explored.Design/methodology/approachThe study collected perceptual measures from hotel managers and tour managers having sufficient experience in the tourism sector. With 209 completed responses, the data were analyzed using partial least squares.FindingsThe study found IOS use of communication and intelligence as prominent enablers of IOS use for integration, collaboration and coordination. Furthermore, IOS use for integration, collaboration and coordination was found to have a prominent influence in the development of tourism SC agility and resilience. However, the influence of IOS use for communication on collaboration was not supported. Also, the impact of IOS use for collaboration in tourism resilience development was not supported.Originality/valueThe study is the foremost to explore the role of IOS appropriation in the development of dynamic capabilities like agility and resilience in tourism. Furthermore, the study also contributed to extant literature on IOS appropriation through suggesting two additional factors, namely, IOS use for collaboration and coordination to the existing IOS usage-based capabilities.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to identify and screen continuous innovation capability enablers (CICEs) in Indonesia’s manufacturing sectors, develop a relationship among these enablers and determine their driving power and dependence power in the sector.
Design/methodology/approach
The initial CICEs identification process is based on a literature review, while a fuzzy Delphi method (FDM) was used for the screening process of CICEs. Total interpretive structural modelling (TISM) was used to develop contextual relationships among various CICEs. The results of the TISM are used as an input for the matrix of cross-impact multiplications applied to classification (MICMAC) to classify the driving power and dependence powers of the CICEs.
Findings
This paper selected 16 CICEs classified in seven dimensions. TISM results and MICMAC analysis show that leadership, as well as climate and culture, are enablers with the highest driving power and lowest dependence powers; followed by information technology. The results of this study indicate that efforts to continuously develop innovation capabilities in the Indonesian manufacturing industries are strongly influenced by their leadership capability, climate and culture, also information technology-related capability.
Practical implications
The framework assessed in this study provides business managers and policymakers to obtain a bigger picture in developing policies with evidence-based strategy and priority in regard to continuous innovation capability.
Originality/value
The results will be useful for business managers and policymakers to understand the relationship between CICEs and identify key CICEs in Indonesia’s manufacturing sectors, which were previously non-existent.

Abstract
Purpose
The aim of this paper is to highlight the impact of distributed leadership (DL) on exploitative and exploratory innovations through the mediating effects of organizational trust (OT) and tacit and explicit knowledge sharing (KS).
Design/methodology/approach
Focusing on a quantitative approach, an empirical study was performed within a sample of information and communication technology Tunisian firms. The data collected was analyzed through the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method.
Findings
Findings revealed that DL is a driver of tacit and explicit KS, and exploitative and exploratory innovations. It also highlighted that tacit KS is associated with these two types of innovation. In this line, results showed that tacit KS plays a mediating effect between DL and exploitative and exploratory innovations. Moreover, our research highlighted that DL has a positive impact on OT that in turn boosts tacit and explicit KS.
Originality/value
This paper investigates the links between DL and exploitative and exploratory innovations within knowledge intensive firms (KIFs) that have never been studied in the literature within the context of business firms. This paper pioneers the examination of the mediating roles of explicit and tacit KS and OT in these links as well. This paper highlights the importance of DL for KIFs and sheds the light on how this collectivist approach of leadership creates an atmosphere of trust and fosters tacit and explicit KS to boost exploitative and exploratory innovations.
