Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have recently emerged as a type of uniformly and periodically atom-distributed precursor and efficient self-sacrificial template to fabricate hierarchical porous-carbon-related nanostructured functional materials. In this work, we used Cu(II) ions and aromatic dicarboxylic acid to construct [Cu3(4,4'-oba)2(μ2-OH)2(H2O)2]n (4,4'-H2oba = 4,4'-oxybisbenzoic acid) as a precursor for the preparation of carbon nanostructures. Doping foreign elements into intrinsic MOF-based nanomaterials is an effective way to enhance the adsorption property and photocatalytic activity; thus, we designed a facile method to synthesize a vanadium-doped mixture of Cu2O and Cu nanoparticles encapsulated in a Cu-MOF-derived carbon nanostructure (C-V-1) in this work for the first time. Benefiting from the protection of the carbon shell and regulation of the electronic structure by doping vanadium and phase-mixing Cu2O and Cu, the adsorption capacities of C-V-1 for MB, RhB, MO, CR and GV at room temperature are 174.13, 147.06, 179.92, 275.90 and 611.81 mg g-1 in 240 min, respectively, while the photocatalytic degradation rates are 88.14% for MB, 79.80% for RhB, 71.31% for MO, and 71.19% for CR after 4 h. In addition, the degradation rate is larger than 99.01% for GV after only 30 min of UV irradiation. This strategy of using a diverse MOF as a structural and compositional material to create a multifunctional composite/hybrid may expand the opportunities to explore highly efficient, fast and robust adsorbents and photocatalysts for water treatment.

Abstract
Herein, we synthesize three new stable Fe(ii) coordination polymers, {[Fe3(tttmb)4(OH)(NCS)5]2CH3OH·H2O}n (1), {[Fe3(tttmb)4(NCS)6]·3H2O}n (2), and {[Fe3(tttmb)2Cl6(H2O)6]·5H2O}n (3) (tttmb = 1,3,5-tris(triazole-1-ylmethyl)-2,4,6-trimethyl-benzene) under the regulation of KSCN and solvents and use them as green heterogeneous catalysts in aryl homo-coupling reactions. The catalytic experiments show that 1 and 3 exhibit high efficiency for aryl homo-coupling reactions under an air environment with a yield of up to 80%. Furthermore, the crystal structure analysis reveals that 1 and 3 have coordinated water molecules and OH-, which are easily removed from the host materials during the reactions. In contrast, no unsaturated coordination sites are generated in 2 during the reaction process. In addition, the variable temperature magnetic susceptibilities of 1-3 prove that the metal centers of these polymers are bivalent and all of them exhibit a weak antiferromagnetic effect.

Abstract
The title complex, {[Ni(C15H11N4O2S)2(C10H8N2)(H2O)2]·H2O}n, was synthesized by the reaction of nickel chloride, 4-{[(1-phenyl-1H-tetrazol-5-yl)sulfanyl]methyl}benzoic acid (HL) and 4,4'-bipyridine (bpy) under hydrothermal conditions. The asymmetric unit contains two half Ni(II) ions, each located on an inversion centre, two L(-) ligands, one bpy ligand, two coordinated water molecules and one unligated water molecule. Each Ni(II) centre is six-coordinated by two monodentate carboxylate O atoms from two different L(-) ligands, two pyridine N atoms from two different bpy ligands and two terminal water molecules, displaying a nearly ideal octahedral geometry. The Ni(II) ions are bridged by 4,4'-bipyridine ligands to afford a linear array, with an Ni...Ni separation of 11.361 (1) Å, which is further decorated by two monodentate L(-) ligands trans to each other, resulting in a one-dimensional fishbone-like chain structure. These one-dimensional fishbone-like chains are further linked by O-H...O, O-H...N and C-H...O hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions to form a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture. The thermal stability of the title complex was investigated via thermogravimetric analysis.

In this work, we present a four-fold interpenetrated 3D framework with a dia-like topology. The luminescence properties of sample 1 and dehydrated sample 1′ were also explored.

Abstract
Two new one-dimensional coordination polymers {[CdL(2)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(2)(H(2)O)(6)}(n) (1) and {[CdLI(2)](H(2)O)(CH(3)OH)}(n) (2) have been synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, TG technique, XRPD and complete single crystal structure analyses, where L is bis(pyridin-4-ylmethylene)biphenyl-2,2'-dicarbohydrazide. The Cd(II) atom has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry with N(4)O(2) donors from four ligands and two water molecules in 1 and a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry with NOI(2) donors from two ligands and two I(-) anions in 2, respectively. Polymer 1 shows a 1D framework structure containing bimetallic 42-membered quadrangular ring units. The adjacent 1D chains are interacted forming a 3D supramolecular network structure through multiform hydrogen bond interactions. In comparison with 1, polymer 2 is a new rampart-type chain and each chain is interacted with each other through hydrogen bond interactions to lead a 2D layer. The luminescent properties of the polymers 1 and 2 were investigated in the solid state at room temperature.
