Projective Synchronization of Delayed Uncertain Coupled Memristive Neural Networks and Their Application

In this article, the authors analyzed the nonlinear effects of projective synchronization between coupled memristive neural networks (MNNs) and their applications. Since the complete signal transmission is difficult under parameter mismatch and different projective factors, the delays, which are time-varying, and uncertainties have been taken to realize the projective synchronization of MNNs with multi-links under the nonlinear control method. Through the extended comparison principle and a new approach to dealing with the mismatched parameters, sufficient criteria have been determined under different types of projective factors and the framework of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) for projective convergence of the coupled MNNs. Instead of the classical treatment for secure communication, the concept of error of synchronization between the drive and response systems has been applied to solve the signal encryption/decryption problem. Finally, the simulations in numerical form have been demonstrated graphically to confirm the adaptability of the theoretical results.

Event-triggered control for robust exponential synchronization of inertial memristive neural networks under parameter disturbance

Synchronization of memristive neural networks (MNNs) by using network control scheme has been widely and deeply studied. However, these researches are usually restricted to traditional continuous-time control methods for synchronization of the first-order MNNs. In this paper, we study the robust exponential synchronization of inertial memristive neural networks (IMNNs) with time-varying delays and parameter disturbance via event-triggered control (ETC) scheme. First, the delayed IMNNs with parameter disturbance are changed into first-order MNNs with parameter disturbance by constructing proper variable substitutions. Next, a kind of state feedback controller is designed to the response IMNN with parameter disturbance. Based on feedback controller, some ETC methods are provided to largely decrease the update times of controller. Then, some sufficient conditions are provided to realize robust exponential synchronization of delayed IMNNs with parameter disturbance via ETC scheme. Moreover, the Zeno behavior will not happen in all ETC conditions shown in this paper. Finally, numerical simulations are given to verify the advantages of the obtained results such as anti-interference performance and good reliability.

A robust zeroing neural network and its applications to dynamic complex matrix equation solving and robotic manipulator trajectory tracking

Dynamic complex matrix equation (DCME) is frequently encountered in the fields of mathematics and industry, and numerous recurrent neural network (RNN) models have been reported to effectively find the solution of DCME in no noise environment. However, noises are unavoidable in reality, and dynamic systems must be affected by noises. Thus, the invention of anti-noise neural network models becomes increasingly important to address this issue. By introducing a new activation function (NAF), a robust zeroing neural network (RZNN) model for solving DCME in noisy-polluted environment is proposed and investigated in this paper. The robustness and convergence of the proposed RZNN model are proved by strict mathematical proof and verified by comparative numerical simulation results. Furthermore, the proposed RZNN model is applied to manipulator trajectory tracking control, and it completes the trajectory tracking task successfully, which further validates its practical applied prospects.
