Extended dissipative filter design for T-S fuzzy systems with multiple time delays

Line Integral Approach to Extended Dissipative Filtering for Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Systems

This article is concerned with the problems of extended dissipativity analysis and filter design for interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy systems. Based on the line integral Lyapunov function, a sufficient condition of asymptotic stability and extended dissipativity of the systems under consideration is established. A LMI-based equivalent condition to the obtained one in a nonlinear form is provided by combining congruence transformation with change of variables. This LMI condition obtained is more general than the one which is based on the common quadratic Lyapunov function. Meanwhile, in terms of parameterization, the extended dissipative filter is developed which guarantees the asymptotic stability and extended dissipativity for the filtering error system. Furthermore, our filter obtained by the parameterization method includes the one obtained by the equivalent transformation method as a special case. Two simulation examples are provided to show the merits and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Stability analysis and stabilization of discrete-time switched Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems

We endeavor to investigate the H_∞ synthesis problem of switched fuzzy systems composed by several discrete-time subsystems. By designing a novel QTD-MD Lyapunov function, novel criteria assuring stability as well as an expected H_∞ performance are first developed. Based on these sufficient conditions, some other conditions for solving the fuzzy H_∞ controllers are derived subsequently. Furthermore, the criteria are given as LMIs, thus the implementations are easy to execute. Simulations are also provided to confirm the feasibility of the presented strategy.

Finite-time dissipative filtering for uncertain discrete-time systems with state and disturbance-dependent noise over fading channels

This paper concerns with the finite-time exponential dissipative filtering problem for a class of discrete stochastic system subject to randomly occurring uncertainties and channel fadings. A modified Lth-order Rice fading model is presented to better characterize the multipath fading phenomena in real wireless communication environment. Our objective is to design a filter such that the filtering error system is finite-time stochastic bounded with a prespecified exponential dissipative performance. With the aid of the auxiliary function, a new set of sufficient conditions is derived for the existence of an acceptable filter which can degrade into the conditions for filtering with H_∞ performance. Then, the filter gains are obtained by solving these inequality sufficient conditions. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the validity of the proposed approach.
