State-based event-triggered consensus strategy for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy fractional-order multiagent systems with switching topologies

Observer-based event-triggered leader-following consensus of multi-agents with generalized Lipschitz nonlinear dynamics

This paper discusses a leader-following consensus problem for nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) subjected to generalized Lipschitz-type nonlinearity using output feedback. An event-triggered (ET) leader-following control scheme, based upon estimated states using observers, is proposed for efficient bandwidth utilization by application of invariant sets. Distributed observers are designed to estimate the states of the followers because actual states are not always readily available. Besides, in order to reduce unnecessary data communication among the followers, an ET strategy has been formulated which excludes Zeno behavior as well. Under this proposed scheme, sufficient conditions are formulated using Lyapunov theory. These conditions not only guarantee the asymptotic stability of estimation error, but also ensure the tracking consensus of nonlinear MASs. Further, a simple and less conservative design approach using a decoupling scheme for assuring necessity and sufficiency for the main design approach has also been explored. The decoupling scheme is similar to separation principle for linear systems. Contrary to the existing works, the nonlinear systems considered in this study cover a wide family of Lipschitz nonlinearities, including both globally and locally Lipschitz systems. Moreover, the proposed approach is more efficient in handling ET consensus. Finally, the obtained results are verified with single link robots and modified Chua's circuits.

Finite-time tolerant containment control for IT2 T-S fuzzy network multi-agent systems with actuator faults, packet dropouts and DoS attacks

This article studies finite-time tolerant containment control issue for uncertain nonlinear networked multi-agent systems (MASs) with actuator faults, denial-of-service (DoS) attacks and packet dropouts, under the framework of interval type-2 (IT2) Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy method. Firstly, based on establishing the actuator fault models and introducing Bernoulli random distribution to represent the packet dropouts phenomenon, the IT2 T-S fuzzy network MASs under actuator faults and packet dropouts are constructed as switchable systems according to the attack situations on the communication channels. Secondly, the slack matrix with more information of lower and upper membership functions is introduced in the stability analysis to reduce conservatism. And on basis of Lyapunov stability theory and average dwell-time method, finite-time tolerant containment control protocol is proposed, which makes the follower' states converge to the convex hull controlled by the leaders in finite time. Finally, the effectiveness of the control protocol designed in this article is verified by numerical simulation.

Consensus of Fractional-Order Double-Integral Multi-Agent System in a Bounded Fluctuating Potential

At present, the consensus problem of fractional complex systems has received more attention. However, there is little literature on the consensus problem of fractional-order complex systems under noise disturbance. In this paper, we present a fractional-order double-integral multi-agent system affected by a common bounded fluctuating potential, where the protocol term consists of both the relative position and velocity information of neighboring agents. The consensus conditions of the presented system in the absence of noise are analytically given and verified by a numerical simulation algorithm. Then, the influences of the system order and other system parameters on the consensus of the presented system in the presence of bounded noise are also analyzed. It is found that when compared with the classical integer-order system, the presented fractional-order system has a larger range of consensus parameters and has more rich dynamic characteristics under the action of random noise. Especially, the bounded noise has a promoting effect on the consensus of the presented fractional-order system, while there is no similar phenomenon in the corresponding integer-order system.
