Abstract
The development of sustainable and anti-poisoning single-atom catalysts (SACs) is essential for advancing their research from laboratory to industry. Here, we present a proof-of-concept study on the poisoning of Au SACs, and the antidote of Au nanoparticles (NPs), with trace addition shown to reinforce and sustain propylene epoxidation. Multiple characterizations, kinetics investigations, and multiscale simulations reveal that Au SACs display remarkable epoxidation activity at a low propylene coverage, but become poisoned at higher coverages. Interestingly, Au NPs can synergistically cooperate with Au SACs by providing distinct active sites required for H2/O2 and C3H6 activations, as well as hydroperoxyl radical to restore poisoned SACs. The difference in reaction order between C3H6 and H2 (nC3H6-nH2) is identified as the descriptor for establishing the volcano curves, which can be fine-tuned by the intimacy and composition of SACs and NPs to achieve a rate-matching scenario for the formation, transfer, and consumption of hydroperoxyl. Consequently, only trace addition of Au NPs antidote (0.3% ratio of SACs) stimulates significant improvements in propylene oxide formation rate, selectivity, and H2 efficiency compared to SACs alone, offering a 56-fold, 3-fold, and 22-fold increase, respectively, whose performances can be maintained for 150 h.

Abstract
Titanium silicate zeolite (TS-1) is widely used in the research on selective oxidations of organic substrates by H2O2. Compared with the chlorohydrin process and the hydroperoxidation process, the TS-1 catalyzed hydroperoxide epoxidation of propylene oxide (HPPO) has advantages in terms of by-products and environmental friendliness. This article reviews the latest progress in propylene epoxidation catalyzed by TS-1, including the HPPO process and gas phase epoxidation. The preparation and modification of TS-1 for green and sustainable production are summarized, including the use of low-cost feedstocks, the development of synthetic routes, strategies to enhance mass transfer in TS-1 crystal and the enhancement of catalytic performance after modification. In particular, this article summarizes the catalytic mechanisms and advanced characterization techniques for propylene epoxidation in recent years. Finally, the present situation, development prospect and challenge of propylene epoxidation catalyzed by TS-1 were prospected.

Abstract
The active sites of catalysts can be tuned by using appropriate organic moieties. Here, we describe a facile approach to synthesise gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) using various Au(I) precursors. The core size of these AuNPs can be precisely tailored by varying the steric hindrance imposed by bound ligands. An interesting relationship is deduced that correlates the steric hindrance around the metal to the final size of the nanoparticles. The synthesised AuNPs are immobilised onto TS-1 zeolite (Au/TS-1) with minimal change in the final size of the AuNPs. The catalytic performance of Au/TS-1 catalyst is evaluated for the direct gas phase epoxidation of propylene with hydrogen and oxygen, an environmentally friendly route to produce propylene oxide. The results indicate that smaller AuNPs exhibit enhanced catalytic activity and selectivity. Furthermore, this synthetic approach is beneficial when tailored synthesis of gold nanoparticles of specific sizes is required.

Abstract
Green and efficient synthesis of titanium-containing molecular sieves is limited by the quantity of environmentally unfriendly additives and complicated synthesis procedures required. Oligomerization of Ti monomers into anatase TiO2 is the typical outcome of such procedures because of a mismatch between hydrolysis rates of Si and Ti precursors. We report a simple and generic additive-free route for the synthesis of Ti-containing molecular sieves (MFI, MEL, and BEA). This approach successfully reverses the formation of Ti oligomers to match hydrolysis rates of Ti and Si species with the assistance of hydroxyl free radicals generated in situ from ultraviolet irradiation. Moreover, fantastic catalytic performance for propene epoxidation with H2 and O2 was observed. Compared with the conventional hydrothermal method, this approach opens up new opportunities for high-efficiency, environmentally benign, and facile production of pure titanium-containing molecular sieves.

Abstract
A novel process for the preparation of acetone is reported by gas-phase oxidation of propylene in the presence of H2 and O2 with Au supported TS-1 catalyst (Au/TS-1). By elevating the reaction temperature to 280°C, Au/TS-1 catalyzes 11.6% propylene generating acetone with 70.6% selectivity, and 8.2% acetone in onepass yield. Acetone is originated from propylene oxide isomerization, which is mainly attributed to the surface of the Lewis base and high reaction temperature. Furthermore, small Au nanoparticle size promotes the reaction.

Au nanoparticles, which can be used in various industrial and environmental applications, have drawn substantial research interest. In this review, a comprehensive background and some insights are provided regarding recent studies concerning the use of Au nanoparticles for catalytic propylene epoxidation with H2 and O2. Over the last two decades, substantial progress has been made toward the efficient production of propylene oxide (PO); this includes the design of highly dispersed Au catalysts on Ti-modified mesoporous silica supports, the optimization of catalytic epoxidation, and the determination of the mechanisms and reaction pathways of epoxidation. Particularly, the critical roles of catalyst synthesis, the types of material support, Au nanoparticle sizes, and the dispersion amounts of Au nanoparticles are emphasized in this review. In future studies, novel, practical, robust, and highly PO-selective Au nanoparticle catalyst systems are expected to be continually designed for the enhanced catalytic epoxidation of propylene.

Abstract
We synthesized a TS-1 catalyst to directly hydroxylate benzene to phenol with H2O2 as oxidant and water as solvent. The samples were characterized by FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared), DR UV-Vis (Diffused Reflectance Ultraviolet Visible), XRD (X-ray diffraction), SEM(scanning electron microscope), TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope), XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy), ICP (inductively coupled plasma spectrum), and N2 adsorption-desorption. A desirable phenol yield of 39% with 72% selectivity was obtained under optimized conditions: 0.15 g (0.34 to the mass of benzene) TS-1, 5.6 mmol C6H6, reaction time 45 min, 0.80 mL H2O2 (30%), 40.0 mL H2O, and reaction temperature 70 °C. The reuse of the TS-1 catalyst illustrated that the catalyst had a slight loss of activity resulting from slight Ti leaching from the first run and then kept stable. Almost all of the Ti species added in the preparation were successfully incorporated into the TS-1 framework, which were responsible for the good catalytic activity. Extraframework Ti species were not selective for hydroxylation.
