Abstract
The study presents the successful development of a new electrochemical sensor with low cost and disposability for application in nitrofurazone detection in environmental and pharmaceutical samples. The sensors were fabricated using materials obtained from local storage and conductive carbon ink. The modification of the screen-printed electrodes with the hybrid nanomaterial based on silver nanoparticles, carbon quantum dots, and carbon nanotubes showed synergistic contributions in the nitrofurazone electrooxidation, as observed in the wide linear range (0.008 at 15.051 μM), with a sensitivity of 0.650 μA/μM. The limit of detection obtained was 4.6 nM. Differential pulse voltammetry, cyclic voltammetry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy were used to evaluate the electrochemical and structural characteristics. Studies of possible interferences were considered with nitrofurazone in the presence of the ions and organic molecules. The results were satisfactory, with a variation of 93.3% ± 4.39% at 100% ± 2.40%. The low volume used in the analyses (50 μL), disposability, high sensibility, selectivity, and low limit of detection are advantages that make the proposed sensor an electrochemical tool of high viability for the NFZ detection in environmental matrices and pharmaceutical formulations.

Abstract
This study describes the development of a novel disposable and low-cost electrochemical platform for detecting the antibiotic ceftriaxone. The screen-printed electrode has been modified with a novel hybrid nanostructure containing silicon oxide (SiO2), zirconium oxide (ZrO2), and nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots (Cdot-N). Different techniques like Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy characterized the hybrid nanostructure used in the sensor surface modifier material. The hybrid nanostructure showed an excellent synergistic effect that contributed to the oxidation reaction of ceftriaxone. The screen-printed electrode modified with SiO2/ZrO2/Cdot-N nanostructure presented high sensitivity with a detection limit of 0.2 nmol L-1 in the linear range of 0.0078-40.02 μmol L-1. The measurements have been performed by square wave voltammetry technique. Studies on real samples of synthetic urine, urine, and tap water showed 95%-105% recovery without applying any sample pretreatment. The sensor demonstrated excellent selectivity in the antibiotic ceftriaxone determination in the presence of possible interferences cationic, Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Cu2+, Pb2+, Mn2+, Zn2+, Co2+, and biological, glucose, caffeine, uric acid, and ascorbic acid. The developed sensor becomes a selective, sensitive, and applicable tool in determining the antibiotic ceftriaxone.

Abstract
This study presents the development of an electrochemical sensor, denoted as GCE/CB/SiAlSn, based on the modification of a glassy carbon electrode surface with the ternary oxide SiO2/Al2O3/SnO2 associated with carbon black, for direct determination of the neonicotinoid pesticide clothianidin in different matrices, such as environmental and food samples. Morphological characterization by the scanning electron microscopy technique, electroanalytical analyses using the cyclic voltammetry technique and differential pulse voltammetry are presented which demonstrated that the developed electrochemical platform presents high sensitivity in the electroanalytical clothianidin determination. The linear range studied was from 2.99 × 10-7 to 6.04 × 10-5 mol L-1, with an LOD of 2.47 nmol L-1. This high sensitivity was explained using the synergistic relationship between carbon black and ternary oxide that maximized the electroactive surface area of the GCE/CB/SiAlSn sensor. Interferent studies were performed that showed high selectivity of the sensor to the pesticide in the presence of Ca2+, K+, Na+, and Mg2+ and carbendazim, glyphosate, imidacloprid and thiamethoxam pesticides. The sensor was applied to real samples of tap water and apple juice obtaining recoveries from 91.0% to 103.0%.

Abstract
Present work depicted a novel electrochemical sensor fabricated with magnetic carbon dots (M-CDs) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) for selective measurement of 3,3',5,5'-tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) in beverages. The M-CDs composite material revealed good electrocatalytic activity, and CTAB has strong hydrophobic interaction which enable it have good enrichment capacity of hydrophobic compounds, and combination of them further enhances the electrochemical signal. Hence CTAB decoration can markedly improve the detection performance of TBBPA. Electrochemical properties of the fabricated sensor was investigated through performing cyclic voltammetry (CV). The morphology and functional groups of the modified materials were examined with transmission electron microscope (TEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The results indicated that the synthesized material had a spherical-like structure, good dispersion properties and plenty of functional groups on the surface. The effects of incubation potential, incubation time, pH of electrolyte, and scanning rate on oxidation peak current were investigated. Under optimal conditions, the designed sensor had good linear range of 1 nM-1000 nM, and the detection of limit of the constructed sensor was 0.75 nM. The constructed sensor was utilized to detect TBBPA in vitamin water, scream drink and genki forest, and satisfactory detection performance had been achieved.

Abstract
An electrochemical method has described for the voltammetric determination and oxidation of caffeic acid (CA) at a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified carbon/iron-based active catalyst as a sensing platform. In this study, we have developed a highly sensitive electrochemical CA sensor with f-MWCNTs/α-NaFeO2 composite, which was developed by a simple ultrasonication method. The microstructural features of the f-MWCNTs/α-NaFeO2 composite characterized by different physicochemical and analytical techniques. Under the optimized condition, the developed sensor archive the ultra-sensitivity (44.6859 μA μM-1cm-2) at a lower concentration with excellent linearity (R2 = 0.9943) and which shows low detection limit (LOD = 0.002 μM) and Limit of quantification (LOQ = 0.0068 μM) by using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) technique. The suggested sensor may improve the effective and efficient platform to the determination of CA in the healthcare system.

Abstract
The development of novel chemical sensors for pesticide detection has found particular application in the area of environmental monitoring. However, designing primary sensors as weapons to destroy contaminants (e.g., paraoxon-ethyl) in water and soil remains a challenge. Herein, we show different strategies, such as modification of TiO2 NPs through La3+ doping and decoration of f-MWCNTs, which can provide possibilities for notable developments in electrocatalytic performance. Using this approach, we introduce an active La3+ doped TiO2 NP decorated f-MWCNT electrocatalyst for pollutant monitoring applications. Thereby, our findings move towards an outstanding LOD (0.0019 μM) performance, high selectivity, and exceptional sensitivity (7.6690 μA μM-1 cm-2) on an as-presented catalytic platform for a PE sensor. Interestingly, the practical applicability of the suggested catalyst shows a rich sensing platform for PE-contaminated environmental samples.

Abstract
In this work, poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate)-functionalized three-dimensional graphene (PFSG) composites were realized via a facile and green strategy. The nanocomposite was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, ultraviolet and visible spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and electrochemical method. An electroanalytical sensor of dopamine (DA) with high sensitivity and selectivity was fabricated based on PFSG modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Under the optimum conditions, the negatively charged PFSG composites exhibit strong electrostatic attraction for DA and electrostatic repulsion to the negatively charged ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA) molecules. Such electrostatic interaction hindered the enrichment of AA and UA on the surface of PSFG/GCE, which make a higher selectivity for the DA even in the presence of 120-fold AA and UA. Owing to the enhanced electron transfer rate and the stronger surface attraction, the current signal of DA on PFSG/GCE was about 160 times enhanced compared with the bare electrode. There was a good linear relationship between the reduction peak current of DA and concentration across the range of 0.002-2.0 μmol L-1 and 2.0-10.0 μmol L-1 with the limit of 0.8 nmol L-1. Further, the PFSG/GCE was applied to the detection of DA in human serum samples. This biosensor is simple, sensitive, selective and highly stable, which provided a new design strategy and a valuable tool to detect DA in complex samples.

Abstract
MoS2 and nitrogen doped active carbon composite (MoS2/ANC) is fabricated to detect taxifolin and exhibits superior redox current response and decreased redox potential difference. Further investigation reveals that the kinetic process of the redox reaction of taxifolin on MoS2/ANC electrode is controlled by both adsorption and diffusion process. Under the optimum conditions, the redox peak currents linearly relate with the concentration of taxifolin in the range of 1 × 10-9-1 × 10-6 mol L-1, accompanied by the low detection limit (3 × 10-10 mol L-1). Meanwhile, outstanding selectivity, stability and repeatability are also obtained at MoS2/ANC electrode. At last, the proposed method is applied to quantitatively detect taxifolin in fructus polygoni orientalis and satisfactory results have been achieved.

Abstract
A novel voltammetric sensor was constructed by simple dripping single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) on to the glass carbon electrode (GCE) firstly and electro-polymerizing L-Citrulline film subsequently. The resulting poly(L-Citrulline)/SWCNTs/GCE showed a significant voltammetric response to picroside II due to the synergistic effect of SWCNTs and poly(L-Citrulline) film. The first electroanalytical method of picroside II was proposed with detection linear range from 8.0 × 10(-8) to 5.0 × 10(-6) mol L(-1) and a detection limit of 3 × 10(-8) mol L(-1). The high sensitivity, selectivity and long-term stability made the sensor suitable for the determination of picroside II. Moreover, based on the systematically investigation and some kinetics parameters calculated in the experimentation, the reaction mechanism of picroside II at the poly(L-Citrulline)/SWCNTs modified GCE was obtained reliably. Lastly, the proposed sensor was used for the determination of picroside II in real sample with satisfactory results. This work promoted the potential applications of amino acid materials and SWCNTs in electro-chemical sensors.
