Abstract
Selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) with ammonia (NH3-SCR) has been implemented in response to the regulation of NOx emissions from stationary and mobile sources above 300 °C. However, the development of NH3-SCR catalysts active at low temperatures below 200 °C is still needed to improve the energy efficiency and to cope with various fuels. In this review article, recent reports on low-temperature NH3-SCR catalysts are systematically summarized. The redox property as well as the surface acidity are two main factors that affect the catalytic activity. The strong redox property is beneficial for the low-temperature NH3-SCR activity but is responsible for N2O formation. The multiple electron transfer system is more plausible for controlling redox properties. H2O and SOx, which are often found with NOx in flue gas, have a detrimental effect on NH3-SCR activity, especially at low temperatures. The competitive adsorption of H2O can be minimized by enhancing the hydrophobic property of the catalyst. Various strategies to improve the resistance to SOx poisoning are also discussed.

Abstract
More and more attention has been paid to condensable particulate matter (CPM) since its emissions have surpassed that of filterable particulate matter (FPM) with the large-scale application of ultralow-emission reform. CPM is a gaseous material in the flue stack but instantly turns into particles after leaving the stack. It is composed of inorganic and organic components. Organic components are an important part of CPM, and they are an irritant, teratogenic, and carcinogenic, which triggers photochemical smog, urban haze, and acid deposition. CPM organic components can aggravate air pollution and climate change; therefore, consideration should be given to them. Based on existing methods for removing atmospheric organic pollutants and combined with the characteristics of CPM organic components, we provide a critical overview from the aspects of (i) fundamental cognition of CPM, (ii) common methods to control CPM organic components, and (iii) catalytic oxidation of CPM organic components. As one of the most encouraging methods, catalytic oxidation is discussed in detail, especially in combination with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology, to meet the growing demands for multipollutant control (MPC). We believe that this review is inspiring for a fuller understanding and deeper exploration of promising approaches to control CPM organic components.

Abstract
Multi-pollutant removal (MPR) of NO and VOCs simultaneously is efficient of flue gas treatment in coal-fired power plants. But reducing the competition for active sites between NH3, NO, C6H6, and C7H8 remains challenging. Herein, Cr, Mn, and Fe were respectively doped to MoWTi catalyst via wet impregnation. The Fe3+ + Mo5+ ↔ Fe2+ + Mo6+ redox cycle led to an increased proportion of low valence ions (Mo5+ and W5+) and facilitated the creation of active oxygen vacancies with several active sites. It also possessed plentiful mild to strong acid sites with ideal ratio. These factors enhanced catalytic activity of Fe-MoWTi. Remarkable MPR efficiencies of NO, C6H6, and C7H8 were achieved under industrial SCR condition, characterized by low oxygen but high SO2 levels at 340 °C, with removal rates reaching 89.85%, 97.57%, and 86.30% respectively. Theory calculations further revealed that Fe-MoWTi favor NH3 and O2 adsorptions. NO elimination was found to follow both Eley-Rideal (E-R) and Langmuir-Hinshelwood (L-H) processes, supported by in situ DRIFTS analysis. The reactions involving NO/NO2/nitrite/nitrate occurred with NH3(ads)/ NH4+(ads)/NH2 (ads). C6H6 and C7H8 underwent gradual oxidation, formatting alcohols, aldehydes, acids, and maleic acids, before eventually being mineralized to gaseous CO2 and H2O. Findings hold significant potential for application, providing guidance for the development of catalysts with improved resistance against SO2 poisoning and enhanced MPR capabilities.

Abstract
Siderite, extensively mined as a natural iron mineral, is often discarded as tailings due to the low grade of the ore and due to the high cost of current sorting technologies. Yet, this mineral has demonstrated significant potential in several pivotal areas of the environmental remediation. Siderite not only possesses exceptional adsorption, catalytic, and microbial carrier capabilities but also offers an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution for the environmental pollution management. This article consolidates research advancements and achievements over the past few decades concerning siderite's role in pollution control, delving deeply into its various remediation pathways. Initially, the paper contrasts the performance differences between natural and synthetic siderite, followed by a comprehensive overview of siderite's adsorption mechanisms for various inorganic pollutants. Furthermore, this paper analyzes the unique physicochemical attributes of siderite as both, a reductant and the catalyst, with a special emphasis on its use in the preparation of SCR catalysts and in the catalytic advanced oxidation processes for organic pollutants' degradation. This paper also enumerates and discusses the myriad advantages of siderite as a microbial carrier, thereby enhancing our understanding of biogeochemical cycles and pollutant transformations. In essence, this review systematically elucidates the mechanisms and intrinsic physicochemical properties of siderite in pollution control, paving the way for novel strategies to augment siderite's environmental remediation performance.

Abstract
With the increasingly stringent control of NOx emissions, NH3-SCR, one of the most effective de-NOx technologies for removing NOx, has been widely employed to eliminate NOx from automobile exhaust and industrial production. Researchers have favored iron-based catalysts for their low cost, high activity, and excellent de-NOx performance. This paper takes a new perspective to review the research progress of iron-based catalysts. The influence of the chemical form of single iron-based catalysts on their performance was investigated. In the section on composite iron-based catalysts, detailed reviews were conducted on the effects of synergistic interactions between iron and other elements on catalytic performance. Regarding loaded iron-based catalysts, the catalytic performance of iron-based catalysts on different carriers was systematically examined. In the section on iron-based catalysts with novel structures, the effects of the morphology and crystallinity of nanomaterials on catalytic performance were analyzed. Additionally, the reaction mechanism and poisoning mechanism of iron-based catalysts were elucidated. In conclusion, the paper delved into the prospects and future directions of iron-based catalysts, aiming to provide ideas for the development of iron-based catalysts with better application prospects. The comprehensive review underscores the significance of iron-based catalysts in the realm of de-NOx technologies, shedding light on their diverse forms and applications. The hope is that this paper will serve as a valuable resource, guiding future endeavors in the development of advanced iron-based catalysts.

Enhanced SO2 Resistance of Cs-Modified Fe-HZSM-5 for NO Decomposition. Catalysts 2022. Abstract
Direct decomposition of NO into N2 and O2 is an ideal technology for NOx removal. Catalyst deactivation by sulfur poisoning is the major obstacle for practical application. This paper focuses on strengthening the SO2 resistance of metal-exchanged HZSM-5 catalysts, by investigating the metals, promoters, preparation methods, metal-to-promoter molar ratios, Si/Al ratios and metal loadings. The results show that in the presence of SO2 (500 ppm), Fe is the best compared with Co, Ni and Cu. Cs, Ba and K modification enhanced the low-temperature activity of the Fe-HZSM-5 catalyst for NO decomposition, which can be further improved by increasing the exchanged-solution concentration and Fe/Cs molar ratio or decreasing the Si/Al molar ratio. Interestingly, Cs-doped Fe-HZSM-5 exhibited a high NO conversion and low NO2 selectivity but a high SO2 conversion within 10 h of continuous operation. This indicates that Cs-Fe-HZSM-5 has a relatively high SO2 resistance. Combining the characterization results, including N2 physisorption, XRD, ICP, XRF, UV–Vis, XPS, NO/SO2-TPD, H2-TPR and HAADF-STEM, SO42− was found to be the major sulfur species deposited on the catalyst’s surface. Cs doping inhibited the SO2 adsorption on Fe-HZSM-5, enhanced the Fe dispersion and increased the isolated Fe and Fe-O-Fe species. These findings could be the primary reasons for the high activity and SO2 resistance of Cs-Fe-HZSM-5.

Abstract
Nitrogen oxides (NOX) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are generated during the coal-fired power plant's combustion. They can be simultaneously removed in SCR (selective catalytic reduction) region. Herein, the performance of V-W/Ti and Fe-V-W/Ti synthesized by wet impregnation in removing NOX and VOCs was evaluated. XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy) result indicated that a redox cycle of Fe2+ + V5+ ⇌ Fe3+ + V4+ could form electron vacancy through electron transfer. Besides, the mechanisms of NH3-SCR and VOCs catalytic oxidation were explored with in situ DRIFTS experience and DFT calculation. On Fe-V-W/Ti, in situ DRIFTS study found more absorption sites of NH3, and different intermediates during simultaneously removal process. DFT calculation demonstrated that absorption energy of O2 was decreased and O = O bond was lengthened with Fe doped. Both V-W/Ti and Fe-V-W/Ti followed the L-H mechanism and shared a common NH3-SCR pathway: [Formula: see text]. However, the bidentate nitrate and monodentate nitrate were also revealed on Fe-V-W/Ti, which combined with NH4+ and decomposed into N2 and H2O, or N2O and H2O, respectively. The detected NH2 species combined with NO on the Fe-V-W/Ti, following the E-R mechanism. As for VOCs, the intermediates of benzene and toluene were revealed by in situ DRIFTS study, and detailed Mars-van Krevelen mechanism was discovered.
