Abstract
Crouzon Syndrome is a genetic craniosynostosis disorder associated with a high risk of ophthalmologic sequelae secondary to structural causes. However, ophthalmologic disorders due to intrinsic nerve aberrations in Crouzon Syndrome have not been described. Optic pathway gliomas (OPGs) are low grade gliomas that are intrinsic to the visual pathway, frequently associated with Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF-1). OPGs involving both optic nerves without affecting the optic chiasm are rarely seen outside of NF-1. We report an unusual case of bilateral optic nerve glioma without chiasmatic involvement in a 17-month-old male patient with Crouzon Syndrome without any clinical or genetic findings of NF-1. This case suggests that close ophthalmologic follow up and orbital MRIs may benefit patients with Crouzon Syndrome.

Abstract
PURPOSE To investigate changes in the retinal and optic disc (OD) morphology in prolactinoma patients without optical chiasmal compression and/or visual field defects using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). METHODS In this cross-sectional imaging study, 16 consecutive prolactinoma patients (group 1, 32 eyes) and 15 age- and gender-matched healthy subjects (group 2, 30 eyes) underwent a thorough neuro-ophthalmological examination, which included testing for the presence of any intracranial compressive lesion that could cause optic neuropathy. Retinal morphological parameters, outer retinal and choriocapillaris flow areas, as well as OD vessel density (VD) and retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness in for quadrants were then measured using OCTA. RESULTS Mean age (p = 0.537) and gender (p = 0.385) of participants in groups 1 and 2 did not differ significantly. The mean BCVA for both groups was 0.00 ± 0.00 logMAR. Microadenomas made up the majority of prolactinomas (87.1 %). All retinal morphological parameters in deep capillary plexus (excluding foveal VD) differed significantly between groups 1 and 2 (whole: p < 0.001, parafoveal: p = 0.021, and perifoveal: p < 0.001). Peripapillary RNFL thickness in temporal (p < 0.001), nasal (p = 0.010), and inferior (p = 0.007) quadrants also differed significantly between the two groups. Foveal deep (r = -0.304, p = 0.035) and choriocapillaris flow (r = -0.511, p = 0.008) were negatively correlated with tumor size at diagnosis. CONCLUSIONS Significant microvascular morphological changes, particularly in the deep retinal layer, as well as in the peripapillary RNFL thickness, were observed in prolactinoma patients. OCTA appears to be capable of detecting non-manifest circumpapillary and even intra-retinal microvascular changes even when there are no obvious signs of prolactinoma-related ocular complications caused by chiasmal compression.

Abstract
The current literature review aims to evaluate the ocular findings and associated ophthalmic features in Crouzon syndrome. Craniosynostoses are syndromes characterized by premature fusion of sutures of the skull and Crouzon syndrome is the most common of the craniosynostosis syndromes. Early fusion of sutures results in craniofacial anomalies, including abnormalities of the orbits. To prepare this review of the ophthalmic findings in this disorder, an organized search on online databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane Library, and Ovid was carried out. The key terms searched were "Crouzon", "craniosynostosis", "eye" and "ophthalmic", and 51 research items were found. A total of 17 articles were included after scrutiny of the databases and a further 25 articles were added after augmented search. A detailed review was performed from the final 42 articles. A comprehensive description of associated anomalies is given along with the author's own technique of surgical management in cases with Crouzon syndrome having bilateral luxation bulbi with exposure keratopathy. However, for optimum management of cranial and oculo-facial dysmorphisms, a multidisciplinary team of specialists is required.

Abstract
The authors found the changes of myelinated retinal nerve fibers in one pair of identical twins with nonsyndromic craniosynostosis and two patients with Crouzon syndrome, who were at risk for impaired lamina cribrosa barrier function. Abstract
Crouzon syndrome is the most common cause of syndromic craniosynostosis. The authors present a previously unreported association between Crouzon syndrome and optic nerve hypoplasia. A male infant was transferred to the center for treatment of respiratory distress. He was diagnosed as having dysmorphic features, a membranous choanal stenossi bilaterally, and bilateral optic nerve hypoplasia. Genetic testing confirmed a molecular diagnosis of Crouzon syndrome. He had a complicated course in relation to choanal stenosis management, and was discharged home at 10 weeks of age. Although uncommon in Crouzon syndrome, the association with optic nerve hypoplasia changes the initial work-up and the management of parental expectations. Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW The article reviews the recent findings on the use of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in neurology. RECENT FINDINGS OCTA is a new addition to the powerful and complementary technology of the OCT. Due to its noninvasiveness, and reproducibility, it is possible to obtain high-resolution 3D images of the vessels of the human eye. As the vessels of the retina with the presence of endothelial cell's tight junctions resemble the brain vessels, it was hypothesized that the imaging of the retinal vessels might bring insight into brain vessels. OCTA has been effectively used to predict retinal vessel abnormalities in dementia, demyelization, optic disc neuropathies, and inherited degenerative diseases. Most common findings were decrease of vascular density and flow and an increase of avascular zones. Although OCTA is a relative new technology, recent studies show that it can be successfully applied in neurology.

Abstract
Different diseases of the optic disc may be caused by or lead to abnormal vasculature at the optic nerve head. Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a novel technology that provides high resolution mapping of the retinal and optic disc vessels. Recent studies have shown the ability of OCTA to visualize vascular abnormalities in different optic neuropathies. In addition, quantified OCTA measurements were found promising for differentiating optic neuropathies from healthy eyes.
