Abstract
An efficient methodology for the synthesis of two groups of silicon-containing alkenes is reported. It includes a highly regioselective functionalization of 1,5-hexadiene through hydrosilylation and dehydrogenative silylation with organofunctional silanes and siloxanes. The established conditions enable selective monofunctionalization of 1,5-hexadiene regardless of the organosilicon modifier used as well as the type of functional group bonded to the silicon-based compound. All products were isolated and fully characterized by NMR spectroscopy and MS techniques.

Heterobimetallic Catalysts for the Thermal Decomposition of Ammonium Perchlorate: Efficient Burning Rate Catalysts for Solid Rocket Motors and Missiles. Inorg Chem 2021; 60:1436-1448. Abstract
We show the synthesis and characterization of four heterobimetallic compounds derived from s-indacene of general formula [{(CO)3Mn}-s-Ic-{MCp*}]q with M = Fe, Co, Ni, and Ru; q = 0, 1+. The complexes reported here were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR, elemental analysis and FT-IR. Additionally, the X-ray crystal structure of [(CO)3Mn-s-Ic-FeCp*] (1) and Mössbauer spectra are reported. The heterobimetallic compounds exhibit higher quasireversible redox potentials compared with ferrocene and catocene under the same reaction conditions. The complexes were tested as catalysts on the thermal decomposition of ammonium perchlorate examined by a differential scanning calorimetry technique to study their catalytic behavior. Compound (1) causes a decrease of ammonium perchlorate's decomposition temperature to 315 °C, consequently increasing the heat release by 138 J·g-1. Conversely, [{(CO)3Mn}-s-Ic'-{CoCp*}] (2) presents a higher heat release (2462 J·g-1), comparable to catocene.

Abstract
We report the first example of enantioselective, intermolecular diarylcarbene insertion into Si-H bonds for the synthesis of silicon-stereogenic silanes. Dirhodium(II) carboxylates catalyze an Si-H insertion using carbenes derived from diazo compounds where selective formation of an enantioenriched silicon center is achieved using prochiral silanes. Fourteen prochiral silanes were evaluated with symmetrical and prochiral diazo reactants to produce a total of 25 novel silanes. Adding an ortho substituent on one phenyl ring of a prochiral diazo enhances enantioselectivity up to 95:5 er with yields up to 98%. Using in situ IR spectroscopy, the impact of the off-cycle azine formation is supported based on the structural dependence for relative rates of diazo decomposition. A catalytic cycle is proposed with Si-H insertion as the rate-determining step, supported by kinetic isotope experiments. Transformations of an enantioenriched silane derived from this method, including selective synthesis of a novel sila-indane, are demonstrated.

Abstract
The preparation of a novel heterobimetallic chromium−nickel compound (3), including 2,6-diethyl-4,8-dimethyl-5-hydroindacenide (IcH′) as bridging ligand was successfully achieved and it was characterized by means of 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and FT-IR spectroscopies and elemental analysis. Cyclic voltammetry studies were performed for complex 3 as well as for its respective mononuclear species. Theoretical calculations of this compound were carried out to gain further understanding of this novel molecular system.
