Abstract
Bismuth-based metal-organic framework (Bi-MOF) materials have shown potential for treating organic pollutants. In this work, multifunctional textiles were produced by in situ synthesis of CAU-17 on carboxymethylated cotton fabrics by solvothermal and ultrasonic strategies and employed as recyclable photocatalysts. The compositional and structural features of the dense MOF crystal coatings on cotton fibers were confirmed by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and other characterization approaches. Under optimized conditions, the developed functionalized cotton fabrics achieved a photodegradation efficiency of 98.8% under visible light for RhB in water, as well as good recyclability. The described results have provided the basis and reference for the fabrication of MOF-functionalized textiles.

Abstract
Selective aerobic oxidation of benzylamine to N,N-benzylidenebenzylamine was achieved using a bismuth ellagate (Bi-ellagate) metal-organic framework (MOF) under simulated visible light irradiation. The bismuth ellagate photocatalyst was characterized using several spectroscopic techniques: powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and nitrogen sorption measurements. Product formation was confirmed using 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and FTIR. The photocatalytic performance of Bi-ellagate was studied for the first time, which exhibits a band gap value of 2.62 eV, endowing it with a high photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation. The reaction product, N,N-benzylidenebenzylamine, was selectively obtained with a high conversion yield of ∼96% under solvent-free conditions compared to other control experiments. The Bi-ellagate photocatalyst was recovered and reused four times without any significant loss in its activity, which provides an eco-friendly, low-cost, recyclable, and efficient photocatalyst for potential photocatalytic applications.

Abstract
In recent years, the semiconductor bismuth oxide (Bi2O3) has attracted increasing attention as a potential visible-light-driven photocatalyst due to its simple composition, relatively narrow bandgap (2.2-2.8 eV), and high oxidation ability with deep valence band levels. Owing to the symmetry of its unit cell, Bi2O3 exists in more than one crystal form and exhibits phase-dependent photocatalytic properties. However, the phase-selective synthesis of Bi2O3 is a complex process, and its phase transformation usually occurs in a wide temperature range. Therefore, the development of Bi2O3 phases with a controllable microstructure and good photocatalytic properties is a great challenge. Hundreds of articles have been reported on the phase-selective synthesis and photocatalytic performance of Bi2O3. However, an interacting and critical review has rarely been reported, and thus it is essential to fill the gap in the literature. In this review, the phase-dependent photocatalytic performance of Bi2O3 is presented in detail. The phase-selective synthesis and temperature-dependent phase stability of highly active Bi2O3 are explored. The phase junction in Bi2O3 is reviewed, and the future perspective with an outlook on contemporary challenges is provided finally.

Abstract
La2O3/Bi2O3 photocatalysts were prepared by impregnation of Bi2O3 with an aqueous solution of lanthanum precursor followed by calcination at different temperatures. The composite materials were used for the first time for the photocatalytic removal of Hg0 from a simulated flue gas under UV light irradiation. The results showed that the sample containing 6 wt.% La2O3 and calcined at 500°C has the highest dispersion of the active sites, which was promoted by the strong interaction with the support (i.e., the formation of Bi-O-La species). Since they are fully accessible on the surface, the material also exhibits excellent optical properties while the heterojunction formed in La2O3/Bi2O3 promotes the separation and migration of photoelectron-hole pairs and thus Hg0 oxidation efficiency is enhanced. The effects of the various factors (e.g., the reaction temperature and composition of the simulated flue gas (i.e., O2, NO, H2O, and SO2)) on the efficiency of the Hg0 photocatalytic oxidation were investigated. The results demonstrated that O2 and SO2 enhanced the efficiency of the reaction while the reaction temperature, NO, and H2O had an inhibitory effect.

Abstract
A plasmonic photocatalyst of AgBr/BiPO4/g-C3N4 was prepared. X-ray powder diffraction, Scanning electron microscope, Transmission electron microscopy, Fourier infrared spectroscopy, Ultraviolet Visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and photoluminescence emission spectra have been employed to determine the structure, morphology and optical property of the as-prepared AgBr/BiPO4/g-C3N4 composite and analysis the reasons for improving photocatalytic efficiency. The optimal doping ratio of AgBr was 10 wt% by degrading 20 mg/L of Reactive Blue 19 (RB19) under visible light (λ > 420 nm), and 10 wt%AgBr/BiPO4/g-C3N4 degraded 20 mg/L of RB19 to 2.59% at 40 min, which is ascribed to synergistic effects at the interface of AgBr, BiPO4 and g-C3N4. The effect of catalyst dosage, initial concentration and initial pH of RB19 solution on photocatalytic efficiency was investigated. Four cycles of experiments were conducted. Finally, through the trapping experiment, we found that the main active factor for degrading RB19 in the photocatalytic process is O2-. The possible photocatalytic mechanism of AgBr/BiPO4/g-C3N4 was discussed in connection with the synergistic effect of Ag and active substances at the AgBr/BiPO4/g-C3N4 interface.
