CC-integrals: Choquet-like Copula-based aggregation functions and its application in fuzzy rule-based classification systems

CT-Integral on Interval-Valued Sugeno Probability Measure and Its Application in Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Problems

It is well known that the complexity of the decision-making environment frequently coexists with the diversity of linguistic information in the decision-making process. In order to solve this kind of uncertain multi-criteria decision-making problem, reasonable measures and integrals should be established. In this paper, the discrete expression of the CT-integral on the interval-valued Sugeno probability measure is proposed. The CT-integral is the Choquet integral when the t-norm is T(x,y)=xy in the CT-integral and is a pre-aggregation function. Then, the CT-integral on interval-valued Sugeno probability measure is applied to solve end-of-life (EOL) strategy in order to determine multi-criteria decision-making problems. Compared with the general Choquet integral, the method proposed in this paper significantly improves the calculation process, that is, the calculation is simpler and the amount of calculation is smaller. A case study was performed in order to validate the effectiveness of this conclusion.

Recognition of Electroencephalography-Related Features of Neuronal Network Organization in Patients With Schizophrenia Using the Generalized Choquet Integrals

In this study, we focused on the verification of suitable aggregation operators enabling accurate differentiation of selected neurophysiological features extracted from resting-state electroencephalographic recordings of patients who were diagnosed with schizophrenia (SZ) or healthy controls (HC). We built the Choquet integral-based operators using traditional classification results as an input to the procedure of establishing the fuzzy measure densities. The dataset applied in the study was a collection of variables characterizing the organization of the neural networks computed using the minimum spanning tree (MST) algorithms obtained from signal-spaced functional connectivity indicators and calculated separately for predefined frequency bands using classical linear Granger causality (GC) measure. In the series of numerical experiments, we reported the results of classification obtained using numerous generalizations of the Choquet integral and other aggregation functions, which were tested to find the most appropriate ones. The obtained results demonstrate that the classification accuracy can be increased by 1.81% using the extended versions of the Choquet integral called in the literature, namely, generalized Choquet integral or pre-aggregation operators.

Dissimilarity Based Choquet Integrals

In this paper, in order to generalize the Choquet integral, we replace the difference between inputs in its definition by a restricted dissimilarity function and refer to the obtained function as d-Choquet integral. For some particular restricted dissimilarity function the corresponding d-Choquet integral with respect to a fuzzy measure is just the ‘standard’ Choquet integral with respect to the same fuzzy measure. Hence, the class of all d-Choquet integrals encompasses the class of all ‘standard’ Choquet integrals. This approach allows us to construct a wide class of new functions, d-Choquet integrals, that are possibly, unlike the ’standard’ Choquet integral, outside of the scope of aggregation functions since the monotonicity is, for some restricted dissimilarity function, violated and also the range of such functions can be wider than [0, 1], in particular it can be [0, n].

A Hierarchically ⊥-Decomposable Fuzzy Measure-Based Approach for Fuzzy Rules Aggregation

A Fuzzy Decision Tree is a classification method consisting of a set of rules defined on fuzzy variables. The final class assignment is done according to the output of all the rules of the tree. Generally, the maximum operator is used to aggregate the results of the rules. However, some approaches based on more complex aggregation operators have appeared recently. In this work we propose to use Sugeno and Choquet integrals together with a Hierarchically ⊥-Decomposable Fuzzy Measure (HDFM) to aggregate the rules' values. The HDFM exploits the hierarchical structure of the fuzzy decision tree and takes into account the confidence value of the output together with the classification ambiguity of the rules. The HDFM is built using Sugeno-Weber t-conorms.We validate this approach on several classification problems and make a comparison of the performance with the state of art aggregation operators. Finally, a case study with a real dataset of diabetic patients is analyzed to predict the risk of suffering from diabetic retinopathy.
