Abstract
To combat food freshness fraud, it is urgent to develop a method which could realize the detection of biogenic amines (BAs) present in food. In our study, we developed a colorimetric and ratiometric fluorescence dual-mode sensor which integrated with silver metallization-based response system of AIE liposome + OPD + RSM + Ag+ toward BAs in foods for fighting freshness fraud. With the hydrolysis from the alkaline of BAs to resorcinol monoacetate (RSM), the production resorcinol (RS) could metallize silver ion (Ag+) to silver atoms (Ag0) which could lead to a BAs concentration-dependent decrease of the oxidation product 2,3-diaminophenothiazine (DAP) of Ag+ to o-phenylenediamine (OPD). As a result, the dual-mode sensor has a low detection limit and wide linear range in the spiked detection of soy products, pork and milk samples for BAs. Thus, providing a reliable method for food safety and forestalling food freshness fraud.

Abstract
In this study, we investigated the process of preconcentrate and determine trace amounts of Auramine O (AO) and methylene blue (MB) dyes in environmental water samples. For this purpose, the ultrasound-assisted dispersive-magnetic nanocomposites-solid-phase microextraction (UA-DMNSPME) method was performed to extract AO and MB from aqueous samples by applying magnesium oxide nanoparticles (MgO-NPs). The proposed technique is low-cost, facile, fast, and compatible with many existing instrumental methods. Parameters affecting the extraction of AO and MB were optimized using response surface methodology (RSM). Short extraction time, low experimental tests, low consumption of organic solvent, low limits of detection (LOD), and high preconcentration factor (PF) was the advantages of method. The PF was 44.5, and LOD for AO and MB was 0.33 ng mL−1 and 1.66 ng mL−1, respectively. The linear range of this method for AO and MB were 1–1000 ng mL−1 and 5–2000 ng mL−1, respectively. In addition, the relative standard deviation (RSD; n = 5) of the mentioned analytes was between 2.9% and 3.1%. The adsorption–desorption studies showed that the efficiency of adsorbent extraction had not declined significantly up to 6 recycling runs, and the adsorbent could be used several times. The interference studies revealed that the presence of different ions did not interfere substantially with the extraction and determination of AO and MB. Therefore, UA-DMNSPME-UV/Vis method can be proposed as an efficient method for preconcentration and extraction of AO and MB from water and wastewater samples.

Abstract
Developing effective and green methods for food analysis and separation has become an urgent issue regarding the ever-increasing concern of food quality and safety. Ionic liquids (ILs) are a new chemical medium and soft functional material developed under the framework of green chemistry and possess many unique properties, such as low melting points, low-to-negligible vapor pressures, excellent solubility, structural designability and high thermal stability. Combining ILs with extraction techniques not only takes advantage of ILs but also overcomes the disadvantages of traditional extraction methods. This subject has attracted intensive research efforts recently. Here, we present a brief review of the current research status and latest developments regarding the application of IL-assisted microextraction, including dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) and solid-phase microextraction (SPME), in food analysis and separation. The practical applications of ILs in determining toxic and harmful substances in food specimens with quite different natures are summarized and discussed. The critical function of ILs and the advantages of IL-based microextraction techniques over conventional extraction techniques are discussed in detail. Additionally, the recovery of ILs using different approaches is also presented to comply with green analytical chemistry requirements.

Abstract
Abstract
Air-assisted liquid–liquid microextraction (AALLME) is a procedure for sample preparation that has high recoveries and high preconcentration factors while using a small amount of extractants. This procedure has gained widespread acceptance among scientists due to a variety of advantages, including its easiness, being cheap, green, and available in most laboratories. The current review has focused on the analysis of medicines and organic compounds using various modes of AALLME. The use of various extractants and support factors were developed in many modes of AALLME. A review of literature revealed that the procedure is used as a powerful and efficient approach for extracting medicals and organic compounds. This review explained 12 different types of AALLME methods. The findings on the modifications of AALLME modes that have been published are summarized. Future directions are also being discussed.

Abstract
A rapid and convenient analytical procedure (evaporation-assisted dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction with solidification of floating organic droplets) is advanced for determining the concentrations of triazine herbicide residues (e.g. simazine and atrazine) in fruit juices via HPLC-DAD. The technique involves adding 1-dodecanol (low density) and dichloromethane (high density) to the test solution to act as the extraction and volatile solvents, respectively. Calcium oxide is added to generate heat to accelerate the evaporation of dichloromethane, whereupon the 1-dodecanol quickly disperses into small droplets to complete the microextraction process. Thus, there is no need to use a dispersive solvent and heating equipment is also not required. The floating 1-dodecanol is subsequently frozen using an ice bath to facilitate its separation from the sample. Under optimal conditions (250 μL of 1-dodecanol (extraction solvent), 150 μL of CH2Cl2 (volatile solvent), 1250 mg of CaO, and an extraction time of 60 s) the detection procedure is linear over the range 0.05-5 μg mL-1 (with R > 0.99). The limits of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) were determined to be 0.0022-0.0034 μg mL-1 and 0.0073-0.0113 μg mL-1, respectively. The recovery of simazine and atrazine in three fruit juices ranged between 78.5% and 96.4% with a relative standard deviation <8.2%. Therefore, the proposed approach can be effectively adopted to analyze the triazine herbicide content in fruit juices. The method has been proved to be simple, reliable, and remarkably efficient.

Abstract
Cyclodextrin-based dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (CD-DLLME) was developed for the determination of triazole and strobilurin fungicides in water, juice, and vinegar samples using high-performance liquid chromatography-diode-array detection (HPLC-DAD). Undecanol, which is a green solvent, was selected as the extraction solvent. A cyclodextrin aqueous solution was chosen as the dispersion solvent and demulsifier to avoid the use of a toxic dispersion solvent and eliminate the centrifugation step. Dispersion and phase separation were completed within 1 and 60 s, respectively. The linear range of this method was 1 to 100 µg L-1. The limits of detection were 0.3 μg L-1 along with the preconcentration factor of 133 and enrichment factor of 124. The recovery was 83.2% to 103.2%. This pretreatment method was fast, simple, and environmentally friendly and was successfully applied to the analysis of triazole and strobilurin fungicide residues in water, juice, and vinegar samples.
