Abstract
Pemigatinib (PGT) is a recently FDA-approved small molecule kinase inhibitor used for the treatment of relapsed or refractory myeloid/lymphoid neoplasms in adults. This study introduces the development of a first microwell spectrofluorimetric method (MW-SFM) for quantifying PGT in FDA-approved tablets and plasma samples. The method utilized the enhancement of PGT's weak native fluorescence by blocking photoinduced electron transfer (PET) and micellization with sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). The MW-SFM was performed in 96-microwell plates, and fluorescence signals were measured using a fluorescence microplate reader with excitation at 290 nm and emission at 350 nm. The method exhibited a linear range of 2-250 ng mL-1, and a limit of quantitation was 6.5 ng mL-1. The accuracy and precision of the method were confirmed with recovery rates ranging from 96.5% to 102.8% and relative standard deviations of 1.52% to 3.51%. The MW-SFM successfully analyzed Pemazyre® tablets, assessed content uniformity, and analyzed PGT-spiked human plasma samples. The greenness of the MW-SFM was verified using three different metric tools. In conclusion, the proposed MW-SFM is a valuable tool in supporting quality assessment of dosage forms, conducting pharmacokinetic studies, and monitoring therapeutic outcomes.

Abstract
The goal of the current research was to establish a quick and practical fluorometric technique for trifluridine analysis. The approach relied on the drug's complex formation with the zinc ion to produce a high-fluorescence product. The fluorescence was further enhanced by adding sodium dodecyl sulfate, and it was observed at 450 nm following excitation at 400 nm. With a determination coefficient of 0.9994, the association between emission intensity and trifluridine concentration was linear between 1 and 125 ng mL-1. The quantitation limit was 0.987 ng mL-1 while 0.333 ng mL-1 was the detection limit. The buffer type, pH and concentration, type of surfactant and concentration, and finally the diluting solvent were among the reaction conditions that were closely examined. With great precision and reliability, the drug in question was quantified using this method in dosage formulations. The proposed method's level of greenness was assessed using two methodologies: the analytical greenness metric (AGREE) and the Green Analytical Procedure Index (GAPI).

Abstract
In the shadow of SARS-CoV-2, influenza seems to be an innocent virus, although new zoonotic influenza viruses evolved by mutations may lead to severe pandemics. According to WHO, there is an urgent need for better antiviral drugs. Blocking viral hemagglutinin with multivalent N-acetylneuraminic acid derivatives is a promising approach to prevent influenza infection. Moreover, dual inhibition of both hemagglutinin and neuraminidase may result in a more powerful effect. Since both viral glycoproteins can bind to neuraminic acid, we have prepared three series of amphiphilic self-assembling 2-thio-neuraminic acid derivatives constituting aggregates in aqueous medium to take advantage of their multivalent effect. One of the series was prepared by the azide-alkyne click reaction, and the other two by the thio-click reaction to yield neuraminic acid derivatives containing lipophilic tails of different sizes and an enzymatically stable thioglycosidic bond. Two of the three bis-octyl derivatives produced proved to be active against influenza viruses, while all three octyl derivatives bound to hemagglutinin and neuraminidase from H1N1 and H3N2 influenza types.

Abstract
Herein, interactions between cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) and ceftriaxone sodium (CTS) were investigated applying conductivity technique. Impacts of the nature of additives (e.g. electrolytes or hydrotrope (HDT)), change of temperatures (from 298.15 to 323.15 K), and concentration variation of CTS/additives were assessed on the micellization of CPC + CTS mixture. The conductometric analysis of critical micelle concentration (CMC) with respect to the concentration reveals that the CMC values were increased with the increase in CTS concentration. In terms of using different mediums, CMC did not differ much with the increase in electrolyte salt (NaCl, Na2SO4) concentration, but increased significantly with the rise of HDT (NaBenz) amount. In the presence of electrolyte, CMC showed a gentle increment with temperature, while the HDT showed the opposite trend. Obtained result was further correlated with conventional thermodynamic relationship, where standard Gibb's free energy change ( Δ G m o ) , change of enthalpy ( Δ H m o ) , and change of entropy ( Δ S m o ) were utilized to investigate. The Δ G m o values were negative for all the mixed systems studied indicating that the micellization process was spontaneous. Finally, the stability of micellization was studied by estimating the intrinsic enthalpy gain (Δ H m o , ∗ ) and compensation temperature (Tc). Here, CPC + CTS mixed system showed more stability in Na2SO4 medium than the NaCl, while in NaBenz exhibited the lowest stability.

Abstract
The purpose of the present work was to establish a fast and convenient strategy for lomefloxacin analysis using a fluorimetric approach. The methodology was based on the complex formation of the drug with aluminum ion to give a product having high fluorescence. Adding sodium dodecyl sulfate led to further boosting the intensity of fluorescence which was recorded at 429 nm after excitation at 332 nm. The relationship of emission intensity with lomefloxacin concentration was linear at 10-130 ng mL-1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9996. The quantitation limit was 11.4 ng mL-1 and detection limit was 3.8 ng mL-1. The reaction conditions were carefully studied which included the pH, buffer type, its concentration, the type and concentration of surfactant and the diluting solvent. The method was utilized to quantify the aforementioned drug in tablet formulations and in real human plasma with high accuracy and reliability.

Abstract
Starch is a natural polymer with a relatively simple structure and limited solubility in water. Kraft lignin (KL) is a complex biopolymer obtained as a by-product from the delignification of wood and grasses. The present work reports developing a temperature-responsive high molecular weight macromolecule from crosslinking KL and starch (KLS). The NMR and XPS analyses quantified the changes in the aromatic and anhydroglucose units of KL and starch, observing a higher content of C-O-C bonds, which confirms the presence of glycerol ether cross-linkages between starch and KL in KLS. The rheological analysis of KLS dispersions revealed the formation of a thermo-responsive structured network. The temperature-dependent water solubility and rheological characteristics of KLS were related to the presence of hydrophilic starch chains, crosslinking degree, and physicochemical characteristics of KL. The incorporation of KL and ether crosslinks increased the thermal stability of KLS. Because of its multiple functional groups and large molecular weight (3.6-4.2 × 105 g/mol) that was arranged in an extended globular shape, KLS-5 formed a gel-like structure after a heating-cooling treatment. Overall, the results confirmed that incorporating lignin in starch would fabricate sustainable materials with potentially altered applications, such as temperature-responsive hydrogels and films.

Herein, the conductivity measurement technique is used to determine the interactions that may occur between polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) polymer and cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) surfactant in the presence of NaCl and Na2SO4 of fixed concentration at variable temperatures (298.15-323.15 K) with an interval of 5 K. In the absence or presence of salts, we observed three critical micelle concentrations (CMC) for the CPC + PVP mixture. In all situations, CMC1 values of CPC + PVP system were found to be higher in water than in attendance of salts (NaCl and Na2SO4). Temperature and additives have the tendency to affect counterion binding values. Various physico-chemical parameters were analyzed and demonstrated smoothly, including free energy (ΔG0m), enthalpy (ΔH0m) and entropy change (ΔS0m). The micellization process is achieved to be spontaneous based on the obtained negative ΔG0m values. The linearity of the ΔHmo and ΔSmo values is excellent. The intrinsic enthalpy gain (ΔH0*m) and compensation temperature (Tc) were calculated and discussed with logical points. Interactions of polymer hydrophobic chains or the polymer + surfactant associated with amphiphilic surface-active drugs can employ a strong impact on the behavior of the gels.

Abstract
Amino acid-based surfactants are used in academics and industry. Sodium N-dodecanoyl sarcosinate (SDDS) is such an amino acid-based surfactant having applications in pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic formulations. Although the surface properties of this surfactant have been studied in the presence of univalent cationic and anionic salts, there is no report on such solution in the presence of higher valencies. In this experiment, critical micelle concentration (CMC) of SDDS from tensiometry, conductometry, and fluorimetry has been determined. In each case, CMC decreases with increasing salt concentration. Counterion binding of micelles (β), diffusion coefficient (D 0), and surface properties, e.g., Gibbs free energy for micellization (ΔG m 0), Gibbs surface excess (Γmax), area of exclusion per surfactant monomer (A min), surface pressure at CMC (πcmc), etc., have been evaluated using methods such as tensiometry, conductometry, and fluorimetry. The hydrodynamic radius of SDDS in the presence of different salts was measured by the light scattering method. Aggregation number and shape of micelle have been determined by small-angle neutron scattering experiment. The nature of amphiphilic packing and the aggregation numbers of the assemblies have also been explored. The results from different experiments have been rationalized and represented systematically.

Abstract
Ibuprofen (IBF), 2-(4-isobutylphenyl) propionic acid, is a surface-active, common nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and it possesses a high critical micelle concentration (cmc) compared to that of conventional surfactants. The interactions of this common NSAID with an anionic surfactant, sodium octyl sulfosuccinate, were studied by tensiometric, fluorimetric, and calorimetric measurements to investigate this system as a possible model drug-delivery system for an NSAID like IBF, particularly in a high-dose regime for IBF. The interactions between the drug and the surfactant were modeled using a regular solution theory approach in the presence and absence of a model electrolyte (sodium iodide) and a novel nonaromatic, gemini hydrotrope, tetramethylene-1,4-bis( N, N-dimethyl- N-butylammonium)bromide (4-4-4). Both the simple and the hydrotropic electrolyte were shown to have an effect on the solution properties (aggregation parameters, interfacial properties, and thermodynamics of aggregate formation) of the drug-surfactant mixtures and on the interaction between the drug and the surfactant. Surface charges of all self-assembled systems were estimated from ζ-potential measurements, whereas density functional theory calculations showed the interaction energy comparison among all of the binary and ternary combinations. All of these results were interpreted in terms of how altering the subtle balance of hydrophobic and electrostatic forces can significantly improve the ability of these self-assembled systems to transport drug molecules.
