Abstract
In the present work, using a sonochemical method, a new lead (II) coordination 1D polymer, [Pb(L)2(CH3COO)]n (L = pyridine-4-carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazone) (1) was prepared. It was characterized structurally with different spectroscopic methods, such as SEM, IR spectroscopy, XRD, and elemental analysis. The coordination compound becomes a stair-step one-dimensional polymer in solid mode. The lead (II) ions have the coordination number of six (PbNS3O2) with two oxygen atoms from acetate anion and three sulfur atoms and one nitrogen atom from organic ligand. It contains a stereo-chemically active lone electron pair and the hemidirected coordination sphere. The high-intensity ultrasound is considered a flexible, environmentally friendly, and easy synthetic tool for the coordination compounds. PbO clusters was achieved with thermolyzing 1 at 180 ˚C with oleic acid (as a surfactant). Furthermore, the size and morphology of the created PbO clusters were assessed via SEM. The estimated gap of HOMO and LUMO is 3.275 eV based on DFT calculations.

Abstract
Nano structure of a lead (II) coordination polymer [Pb2(C2Cl3O2)2(NO3)2(Cl2H8N2)2]n (1), has been synthesized by a sonochemical method in different concentrations. The nano particles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), FT-IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. The thermal stability of nano structure is closely investigated via thermal gravimetric (TGA), and compared with crystalline structure. The compounds are then heated to 600 °C to produce PbO nano particles. The resulting PbO is characterized through XRD and SEM analyses. Concentration of initial reagents effects on size and morphology of nano-structured compound 1 have been studied and show that low concentrations of initial reagents decreased particles size and leaded to uniform nano particles morphology. The photoluminescence properties of the prepared compound, as crystalline and as nanoparticles, have been investigated. The result showed a good correlation between the size and emission wavelength.

Abstract
Two novel Ru(II) complexes [(η6-p-cymene)RuCl(L2)]PF6 (R2) and [(η6-C6H6)RuCl(L2)]PF6 (R4), with ligand (E)-N-((6-bromopyridin-2-yl)methylene)-4-(methylthio)aniline (L2), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and IR spectroscopy. Based on X-ray crystallography studies, complexes R2 and R4 have coordination environments with formulated (η6-p-cymene)Ru(N2Cl) and (η6-C6H6)Ru(N2Cl), respectively. The thermal stabilities of compounds R2 and R4 were studied by thermal gravimetric (TG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Thermal decomposition of these complexes was at 280°C and 260°C under air atmosphere respectively. The interaction of these complexes with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) was explored through electronic absorption spectra, fluorescence and redox behavior studies. The results showed that the complexes bind to CT-DNA with electrostatic interactions. Nanoparticles of RuO2 were prepared by calcination of R2 and R4. Also the role of the ultrasound waves on the characteristics of the RuO2 nanoparticles was studied. The nanoparticles were characterized by IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Also size and morphology of nanoparticles were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

Abstract
Nanostructures of porous coordination polymer {[Cu2(BDC-NH2)2(dabco)]DMF.3H2O} (1) have been synthesized in the presence of acetic acid as a modulator via sonochemical method. Different concentrations of metal ions, organic linkers, modulator reagent and also different sonication times were held to improve the quality and distribution of nanostructures. Ultrasound irradiation helps to nucleation step of the oriented attachment of modulation method and nanorods of compound 1 has been prepared. Compound 1 was calcinated at 500°C to prepare nanorods and nanotubes of copper(II) oxide. Compound 1 and CuO nanostructures were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA).

Abstract
A sonochemistry-based synthesis method was used to produce nanocrystalline nickel oxide powder with ≈ 20 nm average crystallite diameter from Ni(OH)(2) precursor. Ultrasound waves were applied to the primary solution to intensify the Ni(OH)(2) precipitation. Dried precipitates were calcined at 320°C to form nanocrystalline NiO particles. The morphology of the produced powder was characterized by transmission electron microscopy. Using sonochemical waves resulted in lowering of the size of the nickel oxide crystallites. FT-IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction revealed high purity well-crystallized structure of the synthesized powder. Photoluminescence spectroscopy confirmed production of a wide band-gap structure.

Abstract
Nano-structures of AgBr have been prepared by reaction between AgNO(3) and KBr under ultrasound irradiation. Particle sizes and morphology of nanoparticle are depending on temperature, power of sonicating, reaction time and concentration. The effects of these parameters in growth and morphology of the nano-structures have been studied. Results suggest that an increasing of temperature, sonication power and concentration led to a decreasing of particle size. The samples were characterized with powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

Abstract
Nanoparticles of a two-dimensional coordination polymer, {[Pb(L)(μ(1,1)-NCS)(H(2)O)]}(n) (1), (L(-)=1H-1,2,4-triazole-3-carboxylate), have been synthesized by a sonochemical process and characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. The thermal stability of compound 1 both its bulk and nano-size has been studied by thermal gravimetric (TG) and differential thermal (DTA) analyses and compared each other. Concentration of initial reagents effects and the role of power ultrasound irradiation on size and morphology of nano-structured compound 1, have been studied. Calcination of the single crystals and nano-sized compound 1 at 400 °C under air atmosphere yields mixture of PbS and Pb(2)(SO(4))O nanoparticles. Results show that the size and morphology of the PbS and Pb(2)(SO(4))O nanoparticles are dependent upon the particles size of compound 1. A decrease in the particles size of compound 1 leads to a decrease in the particles size of the PbS and Pb(2)(SO(4))O.

Abstract
A novel mixed-ligand zinc(II) coordination polymer, {[Zn(μ-4,4'-bipy)(μ-3-bpdh)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2)·(4,4'-bipy)(0.5)}(n) (1); 3-bpdh=2,5-bis(3-pyridyl)-3,4-diaza-2,4-hexadiene and 4,4'-bipy=4,4'-bipyridine, has been synthesized and characterized by IR, (1)HNMR and (13)CNMR spectroscopy. The single crystal X-ray data of compound 1 shows that this coordination polymer grows in two dimensions by two different bridging ligands, 4,4'-bipy and 3-bpdh. Also, nano-scale of compound 1 has been synthesized by sonochemical method and characterized by IR, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Thermal stability of compound 1 in single crystalline and nano-scale form was carried out by thermal gravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). The ZnO nanoparticles were obtained by calcination of compound 1 at 500°C under air atmosphere and by thermolyses in oleic acid at 200°C. The zinc(II) oxide nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
