Abstract
As two-photon absorption (TPA) materials, phthalocyanine molecules have promising application prospects due to their large TPA absorption cross-section, high third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility, and ultrafast response characteristics. In this work, optical properties and the ultrafast response of three modified zinc phthalocyanine molecules (P-HPcZn, Pc-P-Pc, and (DR1)4PcZn) were analyzed. No obvious side-shoulder absorption peaks in the Q-band can be observed from the steady-state absorption spectra of the three molecules, confirming the lack of aggregation products in the solutions of our measurement. Open-aperture Z-scan results show relatively large TPA cross-section values of 136.4 and 55.3 GM for Pc-P-Pc and (DR1)4PcZn, respectively. The nonlinear optical results show that the absorption process observed under the excitation of femtosecond pulses is a reverse saturable absorption (RSA) mechanism. Up-conversion fluorescence spectra of (DR1)4PcZn in THF solution indicate that the fluorescence emission mechanism is TPA. In the study of ultrafast dynamics, the transient absorption spectra were investigated and the decay lifetime of the dynamic traces corresponding to some representative probe wavelengths was obtained through data fitting with a multi-exponential function. Finally, the charge transfer and excited state properties of the modified zinc phthalocyanine molecules were discussed in depth by the DFT method. The energy gaps of P-HPcZn, Pc-P-Pc, and (DR1)4PcZn are 2.16, 1.39, and 2.13 eV, respectively. The results indicate that the Pc-P-Pc of donor-acceptor-donor (D-A-D) structure has the smallest energy gap as well as the best charge transfer properties.

Abstract
To treat a life-threatening disease like cancer, photodynamic therapy (PDT) and sonodynamic therapy (SDT) methods were combined into sono-photodynamic therapy (SPDT) as an effective therapeutic solution. Each day, the usage of phthalocyanine sensitizers increases in the therapeutic applications as they have the ability to produce more reactive oxygen species. In this context, a new diaxially silicon phthalocyanine sensitizer, containing triazole and tert-butyl groups, was synthesized. After elucidating the structure of the complex with elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-Vis, MALDI-TOF MS and 1 H NMR, its photophysical, photochemical and sono-photochemical properties were examined. When singlet oxygen generation capacity of the new synthesized silicon phthalocyanine complex was determined and compared among photochemical (PDT; ФΔ = 0.59 in DMSO, 0.44 in THF, 0.47 in toluene) and sonophotochemical (SPDT; ФΔ = 0.88 in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), 0.60 in tetrahydrofuran (THF), 0.65 in toluene) methods, it can be said that the complex is a successful sono-photosensitizer that can be used as a good SPDT agent in vitro or in vivo future studies.

Abstract
The electrochemical polymerization of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) was performed in the presence of a water-soluble anionic copper and zinc octa(3',5'-dicarboxyphenoxy)phthalocyaninate containing 16 ionogenic carboxylate groups. The influences of the central metal atom in the phthalocyaninate and EDOT-to-carboxylate group ratio (1:2, 1:4, and 1:6) on the course of electropolymerization were studied using electrochemical methods. It has been shown that the polymerization of EDOT in the presence of phthalocyaninates proceeds at a higher rate compared to that in the presence of a low-molecular-weight electrolyte (sodium acetate). Studies of the electronic and chemical structure using UV-Vis-NIR and Raman spectroscopies showed that the use of copper phthalocyaninate leads to a higher content of the latter in PEDOT composite films. The 1:2 EDOT-to-carboxylate group ratio was found to be optimal for a higher content of phthalocyaninate in the composite film.

Abstract
This study reports the preparation, analysis, aggregation statuses and thermal properties of five phthalocyanines. The preparation of all molecules includes two steps: the first step is the preparation of phthalocyanine precursor molecules (A and B coded phthalonitriles); the second step is the synthesis of one metal-free and four metalled phthalocyanines (A3B-Co, A3B-Cu, A3B-H, A3B-Ni, and A3B-Zn coded compounds). Compound A holds a hydrophobic chain (cetyl alcohol); compound B holds a hydrophilic chain (tetraethylene glycol). Phthalocyanines include three hydrophobic chains and one hydrophilic chain (A3B type phthalocyanine). Characterization methods which were used to determine the structure of these compounds are Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (1H NMR), Carbon-13 Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (13C NMR), and Ultraviolet Visible (UV Vis) spectroscopies and elemental analysis. The phthalocyanines have high stability up to 260 °C as a minimum value. Aggregation statuses of the phthalocyanines change to the metal from the metal or to the solvent from the solvent.
