Combined experimental and theoretical study, characterization, and nonlinear optical properties of doped-poly (p-nitroaniline -co- o-aminophenol) thin films

Peculiarities of Oxidative Polymerization of Diarylaminodichlorobenzoquinones

New oxidative polymerization monomers-diarylaminodichlorobenzoquinones were synthesised by alkylating aniline, m-phenylenediamine and methanilic acid with chloranil. Oxidative polymerization of diarylaminodichlorobenzoquinones was studied for the first time in relation to the concentration of the monomer, acid, and oxidant/monomer ratio. It was found that the synthesized monomers are highly active in the polymerization reaction, and the oxidation rate grows with the increase in the acid concentration. Only one arylamine group is involved in the polymerization reaction. The optimal oxidant/monomer ratio is stoichiometric for one arylamine group, despite the bifunctionality of the monomers. It was shown that the type of the substituent in the aniline ring (electron donor or electron acceptor) determines the growth of the polymer chain and the structure of the resulting conjugated polymers. A mechanism for the formation of active polymerization centers for diarylaminodichlorobenzoquinones was proposed. FTIR-, NMR-, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and SEM were used to identify the structure of the synthesized monomers and polymers. The obtained polymers have an amorphous structure and a loose globular morphology. The frequency dependence of the electrical conductivity was studied.

Experimental characterization, TDDFT-DFT, and spin effect on [PEG/H2O–ZrO2/TiO2]h hybrid nanofluid 3D flow as potential ceramic industry application

Doped zirconium oxide nanoparticles [ZrO2]NPs in the [PEG–H2O] and [TiO2]NPs in the [PEG–H2O/ZrO2]C matrices to fabricated the [PEG–H2O/ZrO2+TiO2]h hybrid nanofluid films by a sol–gel method, the average crystallite size is 100 ± 5 nm. The nanofluid and hybrid nanofluid thin films are studied using combined experimental and DFT theoretical method (DMOl3), including FTIR spectrum and optical properties. Mathematically, Higher rate of reactions of rotating [PEG/H2O–ZrO2]m, and [PEG–H2O/ZrO2+TiO2]h nanofluids on an extending sheet is considered with thermal radiation and heat source. The numerical Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg of 4–5th order (RKF45) method is used to solve the issue. The results specifically determine that Δ E g Opt ${\Delta}{E}_{g}^{\text{Opt}}$ values decrease from 2.27 eV for [PEG–H2O/ZrO2]m mono nanofluid to 1.596 eV for [PEG–H2O/ZrO2+TiO2]h hybrid nanofluid using the DFT computations HOMO and LUMO calculation. This result concluded that the [PEG–H2O/ZrO2]m transformed from semiconductor to [PEG–H2O/ZrO2+TiO2]h as a superconductor hybrid nanofluid by addition [TiO2]NPs. The hybrid nanoparticles have a higher influence than nanoparticles on the velocity distributions.

One-step synthesis, characterization and properties of novel hybrid electromagnetic nanomaterials based on polydiphenylamine and Co-Fe particles in the absence and presence of single-walled carbon nanotubes

A one-step preparation method for hybrid electromagnetic nanomaterials based on polydiphenylamine (PDPA) and bimetallic Co-Fe particles in the absence and presence of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) was proposed. During IR heating of PDPA in the presence of Co(ii) and Fe(iii) salts in an inert atmosphere at T = 450-600 °C, the polycondensation of diphenylamine (DPA) oligomers and dehydrogenation of phenyleneamine units of the polymer with the formation of C[double bond, length as m-dash]N bonds and reduction of metals by evolved hydrogen with the formation of bimetallic Co-Fe particles dispersed in a polymer matrix occur simultaneously. When carbon nanotubes are introduced into the reaction system, a nanocomposite material is formed, in which bimetallic Co-Fe particles immobilized on SWCNT are distributed in the matrix of the polymer. According to XRD data, reflection peaks of bimetallic Co-Fe particles at diffraction scattering angles 2θ = 69.04° and 106.5° correspond to a solid solution based on the fcc-Co crystal lattice. According to SEM and TEM data, a mixture of particles with sizes of 8-30 nm and 400-800 nm (Co-Fe/PDPA) and 23-50 nm and 400-1100 nm (Co-Fe/SWCNT/PDPA) is formed in the nanocomposites. The obtained multifunctional Co-Fe/PDPA and Co-Fe/SWCNT/PDPA nanomaterials demonstrate good thermal, electrical and magnetic properties. The saturation magnetization of the nanomaterials is M S = 14.99-31.32 emu g-1 (Co-Fe/PDPA) and M S = 29.48-48.84 emu g-1 (Co-Fe/SWCNT/PDPA). The electrical conductivity of the nanomaterials reaches 3.5 × 10-3 S cm-1 (Co-Fe/PDPA) and 1.3 S cm-1 (Co-Fe/SWCNT/PDPA). In an inert medium, at 1000 °C the residue is 71-77%.
