Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a type of multifunctional material with organic-inorganic doped metal complexes that have a lot of unsaturated metal sites and a consistent network structure. MOFs work has great performance for enhancing the mass transfer, signal, and sensitivity as well as analyte enrichment. This study highlights the recent advancements of MOFs-based sensors for pollutant detection in a water environment and summarizes the effect of various synthetic materials on the performance of MOFs-based sensors. The related challenges and optimization techniques have been discussed. Then the research results of various MOFs sensors in the detection of wastewater pollutants are analyzed. Finally, the challenges facing MOFs-based water sensor development and the outlook for future research are discussed.

Abstract
Both optically active 1-tetrazole-4-imidazole-benzene (TIB) with bifunctional azole groups and heterometals were utilized to build a new type of one-dimensional (1-D) hybrid cuprous-lead bromide [PbCu2Br4(TIB)2]n (1), which exhibits infrequent deep-red luminescent emission at 704 nm with a large Stokes shift of 321 nm. Owing to the existence of rare free Lewis basic imidazole groups, 1 can be used as the sole dual-responsive luminescent sensor for the efficient and selective detection of Fe3+ and Cr2O72- in an aqueous solution.

Abstract
Based on the multifunctional ligand 3-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)isophthalic acid (H2TIA), a three-dimensional coordination polymer, namely {[Zn(TIA)]·DMA} n (Zn-1) was synthesized solvothermally. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses confirmed that Zn-1 is a 3D framework composed of binuclear Zn2 paddle wheels with one-dimensional channels long the a direction. Further topological analyses revealed that MOF Zn-1 existed as a (3,6)-connected rtl binodal net {4·62}2{42·610·83}. Furthermore, the luminescence explorations indicate that complex Zn-1 is the first MOF for luminescent probing of phthalate esters (carcinogenic organic pollutants) with a high quenching-efficiency constant and low fluorescence-detection limit.
