Abstract
Lignocellulosic biomasses are used in several applications, such as energy production, materials, and biofuels. These applications result in increased consumption and waste generation of these materials. However, alternative uses are being developed to solve the problem of waste generated in the industry. Thus, research is carried out to ensure the use of these biomasses as enzymatic support. These surveys can be accompanied using the advanced bibliometric analysis tool that can help determine the biomasses used and other perspectives on the subject. With this, the present work aims to carry out an advanced bibliometric analysis approaching the main studies related to the use of lignocellulosic biomass as an enzymatic support. This study will be carried out by highlighting the main countries/regions that carry out productions, research areas that involve the theme, and future trends in these areas. It was observed that there is a cooperation between China, USA, and India, where China holds 28.07% of publications in this area, being the country with the greatest impact in the area. Finally, it is possible to define that the use of these new supports is a trend in the field of biotechnology.

Abstract
Increasing bacterial resistance calls for the simultaneous delivery of multiple antibiotics. One strategy is to design a unique pharmaceutical carrier that is able to incorporate several drugs with different physico-chemical properties. This is highly challenging as it may require the development of compartmentalization approaches. Here we have prepared core-shell silica particles allowing for the dual delivery of gentamicin and rifamycin. The effect of silica particle surface functionalization on antibiotic sorption was first studied, enlightening the role of electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions. This in turn dictates the chemical conditions for shell deposition and further sorption of these antibiotics. In particular, the silica shell deposition was favored by the positively charged layer of gentamicin coating on the core particle surface. Shell modification by thiol groups finally allowed for rifamycin sorption. The antibacterial activity of the core-shell particles against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa demonstrated the dual release and action of the two antibiotics.

Abstract
Acid and plasma treated diatom-biosilica particles, were modified with 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane (APTES), and activated with glutaraldehyde. Then, tyrosinase was immobilized onto the pre-activated biosilica by covalent bonding. The biosilica properties were determined using SEM, and FTIR. The enzyme system has been characterized as a function of pH, temperature and substrate concentration. Optimum pH of the free and immobilized enzyme was found to be pH 7.0. Optimum temperatures of the free and immobilized enzymes were determined as 35 and 45 °C respectively. The biodegradation of phenolic compounds (i.e., phenol, para-cresol and phenyl acetate) has been studied by means of immobilized tyrosinase in a batch system. The immobilized tyrosinase retained about 74% of its original activity after 10 times repeated use in the batch system. Moreover, the storage stability of the tyrosinase-biosilica system resulted excellent, since they maintained more than 67% of the initial activity after eighth week storage. Highly porous structure of biosilica can provide large surface area for immobilization of high quantity enzyme. The porous structure of the biosilica can decrease diffusion limitation both substrate phenols and their products. Finally, the immobilized tyrosinase was used in a batch system for degradation of three different phenols.
