Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between parental health literacy levels and anthropometric measurements of children in Turkey. METHODS The research was of cross-sectional/correlational design and carried out with 378 consenting parents registered at a Family Health Center. A Sociodemographic Data Form and the Health Literacy Scale for Turkey-32 was used to collect the study data. Data collection was completed at face-to-face interviews held in the consultation department of the family health center. The data were analyzed with the chi-square test and Ordinal Logistic Regression Analysis. RESULTS It was determined that parental health literacy levels were associated with level of education, income status and the state of the parents' employment (p < .05). A relationship was also found between adequate levels of parental health literacy and the health status, weight and height standard deviation scores by age of the parents' children (p < .05). CONCLUSION This study found that adequate levels of parental health literacy were significantly lower than the European average. The study found that adequate parental health literacy had a positive effect on children's anthropometric measurements. Health institutions and health professionals should plan training programs to improve the health literacy of parents when they apply to health institutions.

Abstract
AIMS This study aimed to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of an instrument of health literacy competencies for health professionals. DESIGN This study utilized a cross-sectional design. METHODS Authorization was obtained from the authors of the original scale to translate the scale and perform cross-cultural debugging. From August 2020 to November 2020, 573 health professionals were randomly selected from primary, secondary and tertiary hospitals in Huzhou to examine the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of an instrument of health literacy competencies for health professionals. RESULTS The Chinese version of the scale contains 49 items. The internal consistency Cronbach's α was 0.958 for the total scale and 0.791-0.956 for each dimension. The test-retest reliability was 0.973. Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the fitness degree of the model is good (χ2 /df = 1.347, IFI = 0.924, TLI = 0.913, CFI = 0.922, GFI = 0.841, AGFI = 0.815, RMR = 0.011, RMSEA = 0.035). CONCLUSION The Chinese version of an instrument of health literacy competencies is reliable and valid, which is a credible and effective tool to assess the level of health literacy competencies in Chinese health professionals. PATIENT OR PUBLIC CONTRIBUTION Health professionals with good health literacy competencies can provide patient-specific treatment and guidance to promote healthy outcomes for patients.

Impact of health literacy on anxiety and depressive symptoms in pregnant women in Japan during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sci Rep 2022; 12:14042. [PMID: 35982222 PMCID: PMC9386675 DOI: 10.1038/s41598-022-18405-3] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Track Full Text] [Download PDF] [Figures] [Journal Information] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 01/11/2022] [Accepted: 08/10/2022] [Indexed: 11/18/2022] Open
Abstract
To investigate the relationships between communicative and critical health literacy (CCHL) and anxiety and depressive symptoms (ADs) in pregnant women during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. A cross-sectional study was conducted and 5466 pregnant women responded in Japan in September 2020. A Kessler 6 scale (K6) score ≥ 10, an Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) score ≥ 13, and four CCHL groups were analyzed using a logistic regression model and trend test. The proportions of pregnant women with a K6 score ≥ 10 and EPDS score ≥ 13 were 13.5 and 15.4%, respectively. In comparisons with the low CCHL group, the adjusted odds ratio (95% CI) for anxiety symptoms was 0.770 (0.604–0.982) in the high CCHL group, while those for depressive symptoms were 0.777 (0.639–0.946), 0.665 (0.537–0.824), and 0.666 (0.529–0.838) in the lower, higher, and high CCHL groups (all p < 0.05), respectively, after adjustments for potential confounding factors, such as age, weeks of gestation, complications, history, number of children, marital status, education, employment, and income. Higher CCHL was associated with significantly lower adjusted odds ratios for anxiety (p for trend = 0.019) and depressive symptoms (p for trend < 0.001). These results suggest a relationship between CCHL and ADs in pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with an increased risk of frailty, morbidity, and mortality in older adults. Limited health literacy (HL) is a condition that can cause frailty in CKD. Frailty leads to a decreased resistance to stress situations caused by activities of daily living and increased morbidity and mortality. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between HL and frailty in older adults with stage 4-5 CKD. METHODS A total of 109 patients with stage 4-5CKD were included. All patients underwent a comprehensive geriatric assessment. Health literacy was assessed by the Turkish version of the European Health Literacy Questionnaire. Frailty status was measured using the Fried Frailty Index. RESULTS The median age was 72 (68-80) years and 72 patients (66.1%) had lowHL. Forty-six patients (42.2%) were frail, and frailty was more common in the low HL group. CONCLUSION The present study demonstrated that low HL level was common in geriatric patients with stage 4-5 CKD and was associated with frailty, as well as a decrease in daily and instrumental life activities, decrease in acceptance of illness scale, and compliance with medical treatment.

An Annealing Model Analysis and Research on the In of Community Public Sports on Economic Development. COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND NEUROSCIENCE 2022; 2022:3129638. Abstract
The state vigorously develops the application of community sports and takes it as an important unit of social and economic development. With the development of the economy, residents' living standards are getting better, which also greatly promotes the development of community public sports. Community public sports have made great progress in terms of scale, hardware, and services, and their impact on society is getting worse. Come bigger. However, there are still some deficiencies in the development of community sports. How to accurately evaluate and predict its facilities, construction, and service levels and put forward corresponding development strategies is an urgent problem to be solved in the field of community public sports. In this paper, an iterative simulated annealing algorithm is proposed to evaluate the level of public sports services and help community public sports institutions identify their own development deficiencies. Through the simulation analysis of the community sports organizations, community members, venue facilities and funds, venue facilities and funds, administrators, and the community sports activities, it is found that the identification accuracy of the evaluation results of the five indicators is above 95%, while the initial threshold of community public sports and social and economic development and the prediction accuracy required by the standard of development status are both 10%. At the same time, the recognition time of the evaluation results in the five indicators is less than 7 seconds. In community public sports development trend prediction and service level judgment, the identification time of the evaluation result is less than 4 seconds, and the overall judgment result is better.
