Abstract
A new series of chiral 4,5-dihydro-1H-[1,2,4]-triazoline molecules, featuring a β-ᴅ-glucopyranoside appendage, were synthesized via a 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction between various hydrazonyl chlorides and carbohydrate Schiff bases. The isolated enantiopure triazolines (8a-j) were identified through high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and vibrational spectroscopy. Subsequently, their solution structures were elucidated through NMR spectroscopic techniques. Single-crystal X-ray analysis of derivative 8b provided definitive evidence for the 3-D structure of this compound and revealed important intermolecular forces in the crystal lattice. Moreover, it confirmed the (S)-configuration at the newly generated stereo-center. Selected target compounds were investigated for anti-tumor activity in 60 cancer cell lines, with derivative 8c showing the highest potency, particularly against leukemia. Additionally, substituent-dependent anti-fungal and anti-bacterial behavior was observed.

Abstract
The vibration spectroscopy (Raman and infrared) of widely concerned molecules in sulfur corrosion phenomenon (Dibenzyl Disulfide, Dibenzyl Sulphide, and Bibenzyl) is detailedly analyzed based on density functional theory and experimental measurement. The dominant conformations of these molecules are determined according to Boltzmann distribution in relative Gibbs free energy. Additionally, noncovalent interaction analysis is conducted to indicate intramolecular interaction. Vibration normal mode is assigned based on potential energy distribution, which comprehensively reveals the molecular vibrational behaviors. Conformations weighted spectra are obtained and compared with experimentally measured spectra. We found that experimental spectra are in good agreement with the theoretical spectra in B3LYP-D3(BJ)/6-311G** level with a frequency correction factor. Furthermore, the divergence among these molecules is discussed. The vibrational behavior of the methylene group in the molecule shows a trend with the presence of the sulfur atom.

Abstract
Computational quantum chemical study and biological evaluation of a synthesized novel sulfur heterocyclic thiophene derivative containing 1,2,3-triazole and pyridine moieties namely BTPT [2-(1-benzyl-5-methyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)-6-methoxy-4-(thiophen-2-yl) pyridine] was presented in this study. The crystal structure was determined by SCXRD method. For the title compound BTPT, spectroscopic characterization like 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR, UV-vis were carried out theoretically by computational DFT method and compared with experimental data. Druglikeness parameters of BTPT were found through in silico pharmacological ADMET properties estimation. The molecular docking investigation was performed with human topoisomerase IIα (PDB ID:1ZXM) targeting ATP binding site. In vitro cytotoxicity activity of BTPT/doxorubicin were examined by MTT assay procedure against three human cancer cell lines A549, PC-3, MDAMB-231 with IC50 values of 0.68/0.70, 1.03/0.77 and 0.88/0.98 μM, respectively. Our title compound BTPT reveals notable cytotoxicity against breast cancer cell (MDAMB-231), moderate activity with human lung cancer cell (A-549) and less inhibition with human prostate cancer cell (PC-3) compared to familiar cancer medicine doxorubicin. From the results, BTPT could be observed as a potential candidate for novel anticancer drug development process.

Abstract
The structure of a potential bioactive agent namely, 3-[([Formula: see text]-methylanilino)methyl]-5-(thiophen-2-yl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2(3[Formula: see text]-thione was characterized by proton and carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) chemical shifts, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and Laser-Raman spectroscopic techniques. The quantum chemical computations of molecular structures (disorder I and disorder II forms), vibrational wavenumbers, carbon-13 and proton chemical shifts and UV-Vis spectroscopic parameters have been performed with DFT/B3LYP method at 6-311[Formula: see text]G(d,p) basis set. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO), lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO), nonlinear optical (NLO) properties and natural bond orbital (NBO) analyses have been theoretically examined with the mentioned calculation level. The calculated values have been compared with the recorded experimental data. The computed molecular geometric parameters, vibrational wavenumbers, NMR chemical shifts, and UV-Vis wavelengths have been found to be in a good harmony with the experimental values and spectral results of similar structures in the literature. We believe that the work will be of considerable interest to anyone working in the area of theoretical chemistry, whether in industry or academics.

Abstract
In this study, theoretical harmonic vibrational frequencies and geometric parameters of N-(4-methoxybenzoyl)-2-methylbenzenesulfonamide have been investigated by Hartree-Fock (HF), density functional theory (B3LYP hybrid functional) methods with 6-311++G (d,p) basis set, for the first time. Experimental FT-IR (400-4000cm(-1)) and Laser-Raman spectra (100-4000cm(-1)) of title compound in solid phase have been recorded. Interaction energies, N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, C-H⋯O and aromatic π⋯π stacking interactions in dimer structures of the title compound have been evaluated by the calculation methods. The dimer calculations have aimed to present the efficacy and performance of M06-2X hybrid functional on the intermolecular interactions and more strongly bound systems for the corrected and interaction energy by the counterpoise correction procedure. The interaction energies by M06-2X approach give more stable results than HF and B3LYP, extremely. The more strongly bonds, especially, on N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π⋯π interaction for the both dimer structure have also supported that the M06-2X functional of density functional is more effective.

Abstract
In this study, isolation and characterization of trans-resveratrol (RES) as an antioxidant compound were carried out from VLE, VLG and VLS. Furthermore, antioxidant activities were evaluated by using six different methods. Finally, total phenolic, flavonoid, ascorbic acid, anthocyanin, lycopene, β-carotene and vitamin E contents were carried out. In addition, the FT-IR, (13)C and (1)H NMR chemical shifts and UV-vis. spectra of trans-resveratrol were experimentally recorded. Quantum chemical computations such as the molecular geometry, vibrational frequencies, UV-vis. spectroscopic parameters, HOMOs-LUMOs energies, molecular electrostatic potential (MEP), natural bond orbitals (NBO) and nonlinear optics (NLO) properties of title molecule have been calculated by using DFT/B3PW91 method with 6-311++G(d,p) basis set in ground state for the first time. The obtained results show that the calculated spectroscopic data are in a good agreement with experimental data.
