Abstract
This study successfully encapsulated the Ag+-doped Au nanoclusters (Ag/AuNCs) within the ZIF-8 framework to construct a novel Ag/AuNCs@ZIF-8 ratiometric fluorescent probe for the antibiotic doxycycline (DOX) detection. The incorporation of Ag+ contributed to the fluorescence enhancement of the nanoclusters through the "silver effect", consequently improving the stability of the developed bimetallic Ag/AuNCs. Furthermore, the encapsulation of bimetallic Ag/AuNCs within the ZIF-8 framework restricted their intramolecular vibrations, resulting in further amplification of fluorescence intensity at 595 nm. The ZIF-8 also sensitized the restoration of DOX green fluorescence at 515 nm. Within the concentration range of 0.001-20 μg mL-1, the ratio of fluorescence intensity (F515/F595) exhibited a favorable linearity for DOX concentration, with a detection limit of 36.8 ng mL-1. This ratiometric fluorescence approach had the promising potential for accurate and efficient quantitative detection of DOX residue in food and served as a valuable reference for rapid monitoring of food contaminants.

Abstract
Cancer is known as one of the most significant causes of death worldwide, and, in spite of novel therapeutic methods, continues to cause a considerable number of deaths. Targeted molecular diagnosis and therapy using aptamers with high affinity have become popular techniques for pathological angiogenesis and cancer therapy scientists. In this paper, several aptamer-based diagnostic and therapeutic techniques such as aptamer-nanomaterial conjugation, aptamer-drug conjugation (physically or covalently), and biosensors, which have been successfully designed for biomarkers, were critically reviewed. The results demonstrated that aptamers can potentially be incorporated with targeted delivery systems and biosensors for the detection of biomarkers expressed by cancer cells. Aptamer-based therapeutic and diagnostic methods, representing the main field of medical sciences, possess high potential for use in cancer therapy, pathological angiogenesis, and improvement of community health. The clinical use of aptamers is limited due to target impurities, inaccuracy in the systematic evolution of ligands via exponential enrichment (SELEX)stage process, and in vitro synthesis, making them unreliable and leading to lower selectivity for in vivo targets. Moreover, size, behavior, probable toxicity, low distribution, and the unpredictable behavior of nanomaterials in in vivo media make their usage in clinical assays critical. This review is helpful for the implementation of aptamer-based therapies which are effective and applicable for clinical use and the design of future studies.

Ou D, Yan H, Chen Z. An impedance labeling free electrochemical aptamer sensor based on tetrahedral DNA nanostructures for doxorubicin determination. Mikrochim Acta 2024; 191:94. Abstract
Based on the electrochemical impedance method, a marker-free biosensor with aptamer as a biometric element was developed for the determination of doxorubicin (DOX). By combining aptamer with rigid tetrahedral DNA nanostructures (TDNs) and fixing them on the surface of gold electrode (GE) as biometric elements, the density and directivity of surface nanoprobes improved, and DOX was captured with high sensitivity and specificity. DOX was captured by immobilized aptamers on the GE, which inhibited electron transfer between the GE and [Fe(CN)6]3-/4- in solution, resulting in a change in electrochemical impedance. When the DOX concentration was between 10.0 and 100.0 nM, the aptasensor showed a linear relationship with charge transfer resistance, the relative standard deviation (RSD) ranged from 3.6 to 5.9%, and the detection limit (LOD) was 3.0 nM. This technique offered a successful performance for the determination of the target analyte in serum samples with recovery in the range 97.0 to 99.6% and RSD ranged from 4.8 to 6.5%. This method displayed the advantages of fast response speed, good selectivity, and simple sensor structure and showed potential application in therapeutic drug monitoring.

Abstract
Fibrinogen as a major inflammation marker and blood coagulation factor has a direct impact on the health of humanity. The variations in fibrinogen content lead to risky conditions such as bleeding and cardiovascular diseases. So, accurate methods for monitoring of this glycoprotein are of high importance. The conventional methods, such as the Clauss method, are time consuming and require highly specialized expert analysts. The development of fast, simple, easy to use, and inexpensive methods is highly desired. In this way, biosensors have gained outstanding attention since they offer means for performing analyses at the points-of-care using self-testing devices, which can be applied outside of clinical laboratories or hospital. This review indicates that different electrochemical and optical sensors have been successfully implemented for the detection of fibrinogen under normal levels of fibrinogen in plasma. The biosensors for the detection of fibrinogen have been designed based on the quartz crystal microbalance, field-effect transistor, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, amperometry, surface plasmon resonance, localized surface plasmon resonance, and colorimetric techniques. Also, this review demonstrates the utility of the application of nanoparticles in different detection techniques.

Abstract
An easy and effective route for preparing full-color (blue, green, yellow and red) carbon dots (CDs) with brilliant and stable photoluminescent (PL) was developed by using gallic acid and o-Phenylenediamine as precursors. The resulting CDs were then separated by silica-gel column chromatography. The prepared four types of CDs owned high quantum yields (up to 11.2%) and exhibited attractive features such as excellent solubility, high stability, excitation wavelength-independent PL, mono-exponential PL lifetimes, low cell toxicity and homogeneous optical properties. Then, the mechanism of full-color CDs PL was explored. The results suggested that the surface-states of prepared CDs, especially the pyridine N (C = N) and C = O functional groups, were primarily responsible for the full-color PL emission. The blue CDs had the largest content of C = O while the CDs turned to be green as the C = O decreased and the C = N content increased. The surface state regulation of C = N bond was dominant in yellow CDs while red CDs possessed highest content of C = N and new -COOH appeared. The gradual substitution of C = N to C = O made the band gap of CDs narrowed, which is the main reason for the redshift of CDs PL emission peak. Importantly, the easy preparation and unique optical features of these CDs made them potentially useful in numerous applications such as full-color cell labeling, drug delivery and optoelectronic technologies.
