Abstract
A woman in her 70s was seen in the gynaecology outpatient clinic with a swelling on the right side of the vulva. Surgical excision of the lesion revealed unexpectedly an extensive ductal carcinoma in situ with a focus of a grade 2 invasive ductal carcinoma arising in extramammary breast tissue of the vulva. Postoperative staging studies showed normal breasts, with no evidence of disease elsewhere. The patient underwent a wider excision of the right vulva and sentinel node biopsy of the right inguinal region, which revealed no further disease. The patient is currently taking adjuvant hormonal therapy and has remained disease free at 2-year follow-up. This case underscores the importance of considering rare presentations of vulvar malignancies and the necessity for a multidisciplinary approach in managing such cases.

Abstract
Introduction Accessory breast cancer (ABC) is an extremely rare condition, particularly the presence of triple-negative ABC with ipsilateral invasive in situ breast cancer. Binary breast tumors are controversial in terms of surgical methods and comprehensive treatment. Case presentation We share the case of a 64-year-old postmenopausal woman who presented with an underarm mass for 3 months. Ultrasonography and computed tomography suggested possible breast cancer with axillary lymph node metastasis. The patient underwent a left modified radical mastectomy combined with axillary lymph node dissection. The postoperative pathology confirmed a binary tumor, prompting us to initiate comprehensive treatment. Conclusion We present the treatment approach for a rare case of triple-negative para-breast cancer complicated with carcinoma in situ of the breast, hoping to contribute new therapeutic ideas for the treatment of this disease.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Accessory breast carcinomas of the axilla of males are rare, and primary breast neuroendocrine tumors (BNETs) are rare as well. We present a case of a BNET arising in the axilla of a man. CASE PRESENTATION A 64-year-old Japanese man presented with a hard 15-mm mass in the axilla and axillary lymph node swelling. Histopathological examination of the incisional biopsy specimen revealed a neuroendocrine carcinoma. Therefore, wide radical excision of the axillary tumor and axillary lymph node dissection were performed. Hematoxylin and eosin staining showed that the solid tumor was mainly located in the subcutaneous adipose tissues and appeared to invade the skin. The tumor phenotypes were positive for CAM 5.2, synaptophysin, estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor, and GATA-binding protein 3; they were negative for human epidermal growth receptor 2. The neuroendocrine component comprised more than 90% of the tumor, and the Ki-67 index was 21%. These results indicated that the tumor was a BNET. This patient underwent adjuvant chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, and radiotherapy. CONCLUSIONS BNET cases in males are rare. The clinical and histological criteria as well as treatment for these rare cases are discussed.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Ectopic breast tissue is present in 2-6% of women. Ectopic mammary tissue can experience physiological changes and the same pathological processes as the eutopic breast. Ectopic breast cancer represents an uncommon condition accounting for 0.3% of all breast neoplasms, and it is most frequently located in the axilla. CASE REPORT We report a rare case of a 57-year-old Tunisian woman who presented with a left-sided axillary mass evolving for about 1 month. The axillary ectopic breast tissue containing the mass was excised with axillary dissection. Pathology revealed a medullary multifocal carcinoma and metastasis was detected in two lymph nodes. She had local radiotherapy after six cycles of chemotherapy. She received herceptin therapy and hormonotherapy. After a 2-year follow-up, no evidence of local recurrence or distant metastases have been identified. CONCLUSION Ectopic breast carcinoma is a rare entity that should be the first diagnosis to be considered if an axillary lump is present in ectopic breast tissue. No particular guidelines on diagnosis and treatment are available. Therefore, physicians should be aware of this condition to avoid treatment delays. Once diagnosed, careful patient follow-up is essential because of the ambiguous natural history of this rare entity.

Abstract
Multicentric cancer of the pectoral and ectopic breasts is extremely rare, and diagnosing this malignancy remains challenging because axillary breast cancer is easily misdiagnosed as lymph node metastasis. Moreover, there are no established treatment guidelines for this disease. We present our experience with a multicentric breast cancer patient who showed different responses to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) and underwent surgical treatments that differed from those in previous studies. In our case, the preoperative imaging of both lesions and subsequent core needle biopsy of each lesion were crucial, as these procedures confirm the diagnosis and help decide the chemotherapy regimen based on the subtype. After NAC, the patient underwent right breast-conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), and excision of accessory breast tissue in the right axilla. SLNB should be the initial step in staging multicentric breast cancer, unless imaging scan shows evidence of lymph node metastasis.

Abstract
Incomplete regression of the embryonic mammary line occurs in 0.3-6% of the population. Ectopic breast tissue is mostly asymptomatic and can undergo malignant transformation. Ectopic breast cancer accounts for 0.2-0.6% of all breast cancers. Screening breast examinations can miss these lesions due to their location making the diagnosis more challenging. We describe a case of a primary invasive lobular carcinoma in an ectopic breast on the left axilla detected in a 49-year-old woman. Firstly diagnosed as a sebaceous cyst, the lesion was excised under local anesthesia. Histopathology showed breast tissue widely infiltrated by an invasive carcinoma. Excision of the remnant tissue with axillary lymph node dissection was performed. Ectopic breast carcinoma is a rare diagnosis and there is a general lack of awareness. The presence of an abnormal mass along the mammary ridge should raise clinicians’ attention. Management of primary ectopic breast carcinoma should be based on a multidisciplinary approach under the same principles as breast cancer. Furthermore, it does not appear to bring a worse prognosis when diagnosed at similar disease stages.

Abstract
PTEN is a tumour suppressor gene involved in regulating cell division. Pathogenic germline variants in PTEN predispose to benign and malignant growths of numerous organs, including of the breast. In the following report, we describe the first documented case of a fibroadenoma developing in ectopic breast tissue of the vulva in a patient with a germline pathogenic variant in PTEN. This highlights the risk of hyperplasia developing in any breast tissue, including rare ectopic sites, particularly in patients with underlying germline variants in cancer susceptibility genes.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Ectopic breast tissue is present in 2-6% of women. Ectopic breast cancer represents an uncommon disease accounting for about 0.3% of all breast neoplasms, limiting the available evidence. Thus, we aim to report long-term outcomes in five cases treated at our institution. CASE SERIES Our Tunisian patients' median age was 48 years (33-60 years), and the median follow-up was 8 years (4-10 years). The ectopic breast tissue was located four times in the right axilla. The median tumor size was 25 mm (15-55 mm). Four of the patients underwent a wide local excision and axillary lymph node dissection. Three of those women had positive lymph nodes; thus, they received adjuvant chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and hormone therapy. The patient with a negative lymph node (case 5) had adjuvant radiation therapy and hormonal therapy. One of the patients (case 1) had a positive supraclavicular lymph node and received radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and hormonal therapy. The latter developed a locoregional relapse after 4 years and was treated with mastectomy and chemotherapy. One patient (case 4) had a distant metastasis after 2 years of follow-up and received chemotherapy. The three other patients were free of relapse during their follow-up period. CONCLUSION Primary axillary breast carcinoma is a rare entity. Despite the paucity of literature, our findings and authors' recommendations suggest that local excision can be performed safely with promising outcomes in this subset of patients.

Abstract
Ectopic breast tissue (EBT) develops as the result of the incomplete embryologic regression of the mammary ridge, which extends bilaterally from the anterior axilla folds to the inguinal folds in the fifth and sixth weeks of gestation. EBT is encountered in 0.3%-6% of women and 1%-3% of men and can be found anywhere along the milk line. It is subject to the same pathologic changes that affect the orthotopic breast. Primary carcinoma arising on the ectopic breast (PEBC) is a very rare occurrence accounting for 0.3%-0.6% of all breast cancers and is most frequently found in the axilla. Due to the rarity and atypical presentation of the disease, the diagnosis is often delayed. We herein present a very rare case of PEBC in the axilla along with a review of the literature. Any subcutaneous hypoechoic nodule located along the milk line without evidence of inflammation should raise concern for ectopic breast carcinoma. Accurate staging and differential diagnosis with detailed immunohistochemical analysis are required. No specific guidelines on diagnosis and treatment are available and the tumor is treated similarly to the orthotopic breast cancer of a similar stage. Physicians should be aware of this rare entity to avoid treatment delays.

Abstract
Accessory breast tissue (ABT) is found in approximately 2%-6% of the female population and are subject to most of the physiological and pathological changes that occur in pectoral breast. Primary breast cancer occurring in ABT is a rare occurrence and a second primary breast cancer occurring in an accessory breast has never been reported. We report the case of a 60-year-old woman with a history of mastectomy for left breast cancer 5 years prior to presentation, who presented with an enlarging right axilla mass found to be a second primary breast cancer in an accessory tissue on biopsy. Many physicians are unfamiliar with the clinical presentation of accessory breast cancer due to the rarity of the condition and this ultimately results in delayed diagnosis and advanced disease at presentation. It is therefore prudent that physicians have a high index of suspicion when patients present with axillary masses.

Abstract
Background Accessory breast cancer is extremely rare, especially in male patients, and only a few cases have been reported in the literature. To date, no specific guidelines regarding its diagnosis and treatment are available. Objectives This study aimed to investigate the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of male accessory breast cancer by reviewing the available literature on this disease. Methods The Web of Science, Cochrane, PubMed, and CNKI databases were systematically searched (last search: 30 November 2020) to identify studies on male axillary accessory breast cancer. The following data were extracted: author names, number of patients, country, patient age, tumor location, tumor size, pathologic diagnosis, and treatment. Results There were 16 studies included (6 in Chinese and 10 in English), corresponding to 16 cases of male axillary accessory breast cancer. Primary surgical resection is currently the main procedure, followed by comprehensive treatment including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and endocrine therapy. Patient age ranged from 51–87 years, and the average age was 67.1 years. The main clinical features of the patients were pain, the portion of the skin covering the mass was either reddish or purplish, and the mass could show swelling and erosion on the surface, with purulent exudate. Conclusions Once male accessory breast cancer is diagnosed, we can follow the latest guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Tumor biopsy and resection seems the treatment of first choice, combined with comprehensive treatment including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and endocrine therapy.

Abstract
Congenital anomalies of breast, especially polymastia and polythelia, confuse clinicians because of their varied presentations, associated renal anomalies, and pathologies arising in them. Case 1: A 30-year-old Asian Indian female presented with swelling in left inguinal region since 2 years, increased in size in last 2 months with history of milk discharge. Diagnosis of ectopic breast tissue inguinal region with lactational changes was made on fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). Case 2: A 28-year-old female presented with complaints of bilateral axillary mass for 2 years which is gradually increasing in size and associated with pain and discomfort along with intrareolar polythalia (left breast). FNAC was done from both axillary swelling which came out to be the fibroadenoma in ectopic breast tissue. Both the cases are discussed because of their rarity and to screen ectopic breast tissue for any pathology during routine screening of breast.

Abstract
Carcinoma of the accessory axillary breast is uncommon, with an incidence of 0.2 to 0.6%. We report a patient whose biopsy of a suspicious lesion in the axilla present for one year revealed invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC). There was presence of breast tissue and absence of lymphoid tissue in the biopsy, suggesting a breast malignancy. Magnetic resonance mammography was suggestive of the lesion well away from the normal breast, confirming an accessory axillary breast. She was offered wide local excision of the lesion with axillary lymph node dissection and modified radical mastectomy (MRM), and she chose the latter. Her post-operative biopsy showed the involvement of all the 25 lymph nodes harvested. Any suspicious lesion in the axilla should be promptly worked up for malignancy. Accessory axillary breast carcinoma, if confirmed, can be addressed with wide local excision along with axillary lymph node dissection. However, further studies should clarify this and the outcomes.

Abstract
Supernumerary breast components occur predominantly between the breast and umbilicus. Carcinoma of this ectopic, or accessory breast tissue (ABT), is exceedingly rare, accounting for <1% of breast cancer cases. Historically, ectopic breast carcinoma was considered aggressive with poor outcome. In 1995, Evans et al reported 90 cases spanning from 1929 to 1993 with a 9.4% survival beyond 4 years. More contemporary studies reveal improvement in both treatment and survival. There is currently no consensus on whether prophylactic excision of an ipsilateral supernumerary nipple at the time of initial breast cancer diagnosis is necessary. The following describes a patient with an ipsilateral tumor uniquely located within her supernumerary nipple 5 years after mastectomy.

Abstract
Bilateral axillary Paget's disease in men is a rare occurrence with limited reports on its diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. Here, we report the case of a 55-year-old Korean male, who presented with a palpable mass and eczematous skin lesion on the left axilla. An incisional biopsy and histopathologic examination indicated invasive ductal carcinoma with Paget's disease arising in the accessory breast. Magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography revealed no malignancy in the normal breast and other organs. The patient was subjected to a wide excision, wherein the left axillary lymph node was dissected, followed by the administration of adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation therapy. After 17 months of disease-free survival, the patient was diagnosed with Paget's disease of the contralateral accessory breast. He underwent wide excision surgery along with radiation therapy. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of bilateral extramammary Paget's disease in a male.

Abstract
BACKGROUND During embryogenesis, bilateral thickening of ectoderm from anterior axillary folds to inguinal folds, called mammary ridges or milk lines, develops into breast tissues. Only a pair in the pectoral area is spared from regression and continuously develops into normal breasts. Accessory breasts can result if the regression process is incomplete. These ectopic breasts can change physiologically and pathologically similar to normal breasts. Unsurprisingly, they are capable of turning malignant. Reported cases show the most common area for accessory breast cancer to be the axillary area. We report a rare case of accessory breast cancer over the costal ridge. CASE PRESENTATION We present the case of a 51-year-old Asian woman who complained of an enlarged mass lower to her left breast developed over the period of 3 months while on contraceptive pills. Unaware that the mass could be an accessory breast, the primary doctor had prescribed oral contraceptives. After our patient had noticed that the mass was obviously growing, she decided to consult a surgeon as the mass continued to grow. Expected to be benign, the mass was investigated by ultrasonography and then excised surgically. A pathology report identified the mass to be a carcinoma of the ectopic breast tissue. However, sentinel lymph node biopsy showed no nodal metastasis of all four lymph nodes. Following surgery, she received chemotherapy, radiation, and antihormonal treatment. After 2 years of postoperative follow up, she remained free of disease. CONCLUSIONS This patient was diagnosed as having accessory breast cancer which presented with a subcutaneous mass. As this condition is exceptionally rare but curable by early treatments, we recommend surgeons to consider potential malignancy when patients present with a subcutaneous mass.

Abstract
Ectopic breast tissue may represent the complete breast (accessory breast), glandular tissue without areola or nipple (aberrant breast tissue), or exclusively the nipple (polythelia). Localization is along the embryonic milk ridge extending from the axilla to the vulva. Only rarely, is ectopic tissue found outside of the milk ridge. Most frequently affected are the axilla, the breast itself, and its close neighbourhood. Ectopic breast tissue may rarely give rise to tumours such as fibroadenoma or carcinoma.

Abstract
A 43-year-old woman with a positive family history of breast cancer presented with a painless lump in her left axilla for 2 years. Clinical diagnosis was a left axillary sebaceous cyst as the lump was inseparable from the skin. The lesion was excised under local anaesthesia and reported as breast tissue widely infiltrated by an invasive ductal carcinoma (grade 2). The malignancy was not involving the epidermis but <1 mm away from deeper margins. Re-excision of the deeper tissue with an axillary sentinel lymph nodes biopsy was performed and deep margins were reported to be tumour-free with no nodal involvement.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Accessory breast cancer is very rare, particularly in men. Male accessory breast cancer on the abdominal wall has not been documented in the scientific literature so far. We describe a case of male accessory breast cancer on the abdominal wall. CASE PRESENTATION We describe a male patient suffering a swelling and erosive, enlarged, and hardened abdominal wall mass with pain due to abdominal wall accessory breast cancer. The patient had no obvious disease history, and the initial clinical symptom was a small mass on the abdominal wall. B-ultrasound revealed a solid subcutaneous nodule in the right abdomen with a size of ~2.8 × 2.5 × 1.5 cm. The abdominal wall tumor resection was performed with local anesthesia. Pathological testing revealed a grade II infiltrating ductal carcinoma derived from the accessory mammary gland (right abdominal wall) with neuroendocrine characteristics, showing ER (100% strong positive), PR (100% strong positive), HER-2 (-), ki67 (40% positive), Syn (+), CgA (+), and GCDFP15 (+). CONCLUSION Nonaxillary accessory breast cancer in males is very rare, with no obvious clinical manifestations, and could be easily ignored. This disease requires great attention from clinicians.

Abstract
An elderly lady presented with a 2-year history of intermittent vaginal bleeding and later the development of a vulvovaginal mass. A core biopsy histology specimen from the mass and the left inguinal lymph node was suggestive of metastatic adenocarcinoma of breast origin. No breast lesion was detected on mammography, and axillary nodes were negative. The histopathologic features and the expression of GATA3, cytokeratin (CK)7, mammaglobin staining and estrogen and progesterone receptors led to a diagnosis of breast cancer originating from the ectopic mammary tissue in the vulva. Given the rarity of these lesions, and the lack of standard treatment guidelines, the management of the patient was extrapolated from the established breast cancer treatment guidelines. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy followed by hormone therapy with aromatase inhibitor were administered to this patient in the metastatic setting with good palliation.

Abstract
An incomplete regression of the mammary line during embryogenesis occurs in 0.2-6% of the population, which may result in the presence of ectopic breast tissue (EBT). The development of a carcinoma in the EBT is a rare event. The authors present a case report of a 76-year-old female patient, with a lobular carcinoma in an abdominal wall EBT submitted to surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy.

Abstract
Ectopic breast tissue and male breast cancer are both very rare diseases with only a few reports in the literature. Here, we present the first case of ectopic male breast cancer in the perineum. The patient was a 70-year-old man with a palpable mass in the perineum. A wide local excision and inguinal lymph node dissection revealed invasive breast carcinoma of no special type involving the skin and subcutis, and inguinal lymph node metastases. Immunohistochemical staining showed that the tumor cells were strongly positive for estrogen and progesterone receptors and negative for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2. Moreover, no p53 overexpression was observed. Herein, the clinical and pathologic features, as well as a review of ectopic male breast cancer are discussed.

Abstract
The development of ectopic breast tissue is attributable to the failure of primitive mammary tissue to regress after the development of the mammary ridge, except at pectoral breast sites, and is most often evident in the axillae. Several benign and malignant breast diseases have been reported in ectopic axillary breast tissues. The most common cancerous pathology of ectopic breast tissue is invasive ductal carcinoma. Ectopic breast cancer presenting with simultaneous primary cancer of the pectoral breast is extremely rare. Herein, we report an invasive micropapillary carcinoma of an axillary ectopic breast, combined with a synchronous ductal carcinoma in situ in the contralateral pectoral breast of a 61-year-old woman.

Abstract
Accessory breast tissue results from failed regression of primitive mammary tissue and is most often located in the axilla. Accessory breast tissue itself is normal and should not be misdiagnosed as an abnormality. Both benign and malignant diseases that occur in the normal breast can also develop in accessory breast tissue in the axilla. In this pictorial essay, we show sonographic findings of normal accessory breast tissue in the axilla and various lesions that occur in accessory axillary breast tissue, along with other imaging findings and pathologic features.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Polymastia and polythelia may be asymptomatic or cause pain, restriction of arm movement, milk discharge, cosmetic problems or anxiety. Cosmesis is the main indication for surgical excision of accessory breasts in axilla. In addition it also confirms the diagnosis and allays the patient's fear of harbouring a malignancy. AIM To evaluate the presentation of symptoms, investigations required for diagnosis and the management to improve the treatment protocols in patients with breast diseases. MATERIALS AND METHODS This retrospective study on breast diseases presenting as supernumerary breasts and nipples was conducted in the Department of Surgery between January 2013 and January 2016 at MMIMS Research and hospital, Mullana, Ambala. Patients were evaluated for breast diseases, either benign or malignant in both genders. A total of 32 cases diagnosed as accessory breasts disease were retrieved from the hospital archive. The clinical and radiological evaluation was done in the form of ultrasound and mammography wherever necessary. Accessory breast tissues were excised under general anesthesia and histopathological examinations were done. RESULTS Out of 32 cases: 1(3.125%) male patient had unilateral and 1(3.125%) male had bilateral accessory nipple, 7 (21.87%) females had unilateral and 1(3.125%) had bilateral accessory nipple, 1 (3.125%) diagnosed as accessory axillary fibroadenoma in female, 16(50%) presented as unilateral and 5 (15.62%) had bilateral swelling in the axilla as accessory breast. Patients underwent surgical excision and in 8(25%) cases z- shaped incision was made in view of better cosmesis. Patients were followed up upto 6 months postoperatively. There were no residual swelling and movements of the arm over the shoulder joint were normal. In 3(9.37%) cases, wound dehiscence occurred; in 2 (6.25%) cases lymphoedema formation was seen. These were successfully managed conservatively. CONCLUSION As breast swellings either fibroadenoma or carcinoma are common entities to come across everywhere but accessory breasts are rarely encountered especially in rural areas because of less awareness. The study found that there was tendency to neglect the swelling as there were minimal symptoms present. We also came across a rare entity, accessory breast and accessory nipples. A clinician should not ignore such cases taking as simple swelling because of chances of discovering a malignancy can occur.

Abstract
Male accessory breast cancer is an extremely rare tumor. Several risk factors have been identified, including genetic and hormonal abnormalities. Accessory breast carcinoma usually occurs under the axilla or in the inguinal region. Clinical diagnosis is frequently delayed due to the general lack of awareness among physicians and patients. In the present study, the case of a 63-year-old male patient who was diagnosed with accessory breast cancer at a local advanced stage was reported. However, the patient was successfully treated with endocrine therapy.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Supernumerary breasts are relative common benign congenital anomalies. General population occurrence rates vary up to 6% according to ethnicity and gender. Higher incidence is recorded in Asian individuals, especially Japanese. Embryonic breast development of the mammary ridge (milk line) is explained and supernumerary breast tissue resulting from involution failure of any portion of the embryonic mammary folds is described. PRESENTATION OF CASE We report a case of supernumerary breast (pseudomamma) in a female occupying her right inguinal region that was treated in the breast unit of our hospital. Differential diagnosis, imaging methods, operative approach, surgical treatment and histological verification are specified. DISCUSSION Classification system for supernumerary breast tissue is presented, high risk population is identified and congenital malformations linked to it are outlined. Evaluation of diagnostic workup and limitations are stated. Cancerous degeneration and justification for surgical removal of the accessory gland is discussed. CONCLUSION Differential diagnosis of lesions along the milk line should always be inclusive of developmental abnormalities such as any type of supernumerary breast, often overlooked due to small size, although carrying a malignant potential equal to normally positioned breasts. Surgical correction is a sensible approach, often encouraged by the patients. Additional evaluation is recommended due to the frequent accompanying urinary tract and cardiac anomalies.

Abstract
Ectopic breast tissue is rare and typically presents as an axillary mass. Previous reports have identified ectopic breast tissue in the vulva, but malignancy is exceedingly uncommon. We present a 62 years old with locally advanced breast carcinoma arising in the vulva demonstrates the utilization of sentinel lymph node mapping to identify metastatic lymph nodes previously unable to be identified via traditional surgical exploration. Our case supports the principles of adjuvant therapy for breast cancer to be applied to ectopic breast cancer arising in the vulva. A literature review highlights common key points in similar cases to guide management.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Invasive mucinous carcinoma arising in ectopic axillary breast tissue is an uncommon diagnosis. While some published medical literature makes recommendations regarding the management of ectopic primaries, many of these recommendations are outdated. We therefore hope to provide general guidance with the management of this rare entity. CASE REPORT We report a case of a 70-year-old woman with primary invasive mucinous carcinoma of ectopic breast tissue. A literature study was performed on primary ectopic breast carcinoma. This case report with review of the literature was performed to provide rationales for a more conservative treatment based upon current data and treatment paradigms. Although the diagnosis of primary ectopic breast carcinoma is uncommon, the presence of a suspicious nodule along the mammary ridge should alert the clinician to consider the possibility of this diagnosis. A mammogram and ultrasound of the nodule were performed and the suspicious nodule was biopsied, confirming the diagnosis. Breast conservation was performed with standard nodal evaluation. CONCLUSIONS The management of primary ectopic breast carcinoma should be based upon current breast conservation techniques of orthotopic breast cancer. Current data suggest that standard treatment paradigms remain applicable to this rare clinical entity.

Abstract
Ectopic breast tissue can occur anywhere along the incompletely regressed mammary ridge. Among the various types of breast choristoma, ectopic breast tissue, which has only glandular tissue without a nipple or areola, is most commonly detected in axillary areas. However, ectopic breast cancer is often not detected until significant clinical symptoms have been revealed, or diagnosis is delayed. Furthermore, an examination of ectopic breast tissue tends to be omitted from a screening mammography. Especially, the microcalcifications of ectopic breast tissue are difficult to delineate on mammography. Herein, the authors report a case of ectopic breast carcinoma that showed clustered microcalcifications on screening mammography, and discuss the interpretation and implications of microcalcification in ectopic breast tissue.

Abstract
UNLABELLED Ectopic breast tissue comes in two forms: supernumerary and aberrant. Despite morphologic differences, ectopic breast tissue presents characteristics analogous to orthotopic breast tissue in terms of function and, most importantly, pathologic degeneration. Data in the literature concerning its precise incidence, the probability of malignant degeneration, and its standardized management are scarce and controversial. This study selected more than 100 years of literature, and this report discusses a case of ectopic breast cancer treatment, suggesting novel therapeutic advice that could bring considerable clinical advantages, improve cosmetic results, and reduce the psychological impact on patients. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE V This journal requires that authors assign a level of evidence to each article. Abstract
In about 1-2% of the population an incomplete regression of the embryonic mammary line occurs, which may result in the presence of ectopic breast tissue. An ectopic breast tissue carcinoma is a rare entity. The authors present a case-report of a 51-year-old female patient, with a lobular carcinoma in an axillary ectopic breast tissue submitted to surgery and adjuvant radiotherapy.

Abstract
Male breast cancer arising in ectopic axillary breast tissue is a rare occurrence and few cases have been reported in the literature. Due to its rarity, male axillary breast cancer is easy to misdiagnose. As for adenocarcinoma in the axilla, it is difficult to identify whether the origin is the mammary tissue or the skin appendages, particularly in cases where there is a poor differentiation. The present study reports the case of a male patient with a right axillary lesion that had been present for 6 months. A histological evaluation revealed the features of a poorly-differentiated adenocarcinoma with regards to the pathological report. The patient was diagnosed with a metastatic adenocarcinoma with unknown primary origin. However, following 4 cycles of intensive chemotherapy, the patient experienced bone metastasis while the local lesion was in partial remission. Further immunohistochemistry confirmed its mammary origin. There is limited literature relating to male ectopic axillary breast cancer, and a high probability of misdiagnosis of this disease.
