Abstract
In this work, a signal amplification strategy was designed by the fabrication of a highly sensitive and selective electrochemical sensor based on nickel-copper-zinc ferrite (Ni0.4Cu0.2Zn0.4Fe2O4)/carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)/graphene oxide nanosheets (GONs) composite modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) for determination of omeprazole (OMP). The one-step synthesized Ni0.4Cu0.2Zn0.4Fe2O4/CMC/GONs nanocomposite was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques. Then, the Ni0.4Cu0.2Zn0.4Fe2O4/CMC/GONs/GCE was applied to study the electrochemical behavior of the OMP. Electrochemical data show that the Ni0.4Cu0.2Zn0.4Fe2O4/CMC/GONs/GCE exhibits superior electrocatalytic performance on the oxidation of OMP compared with bare GCE, GONs/GCE, CMC/GONs/GCE and MFe2O4/GCE (M = Cu, Ni and Zn including single, double and triple of metals) which can be attributed to the synergistic effects of the nanocomposite components, outstanding electrical properties of Ni0.4Cu0.2Zn0.4Fe2O4 and high conductivity of CMC/GONs as well as the further electron transport action of the nanocomposite. Under optimal conditions, the Ni0.4Cu0.2Zn0.4Fe2O4/CMC/GONs/GCE offers a high performance toward the electrodetermination of OMP with the wide linear-range responses (0.24-5 and 5-75 μM), lower detection limit (0.22 ± 0.05 μM), high sensitivity (1.1543 μA μM-1 cm-2), long-term signal stability and reproducibility (RSD = 2.54%). It should be noted that the Ni0.4Cu0.2Zn0.4Fe2O4/CMC/GONs/GCE sensor could also be used for determination of OMP in drug and biological samples, indicating its feasibility for real analysis.

Abstract
Tunable terahertz (THz) photonic devices are imperative in a wide range of applications ranging from THz signal modulation to molecular sensing. One of the currently prevailing methods is based on arrays of metallic or dielectric resonators integrated with functional materials in response to an external stimulus, in which for the purpose of sensing the external stimuli may introduce inadvertent undesirable effects into the target samples to be measured. Here we developed an alternative approach by postprocessing nanothickness macro-assembled graphene (nMAG) films with widely tunable THz conductivity, enabling versatile solid-state THz devices and sensors, showing multifunctional nMAG-based applications. The THz conductivities of free-standing nMAGs showed a broad range from 1.2 × 103 S/m in reduced graphene oxide before annealing to 4.0 × 106 S/m in a nMAG film annealed at 2800 °C. We fabricated nMAG/dielectric/metal and nMAG/dielectric/nMAG THz Salisbury absorbers with broad reflectance ranging from 0% to 80%. The highly conductive nMAG films enabled THz metasurfaces for sensing applications. Taking advantage of the resonant field enhancement arising from the plasmonic metasurface structures and the strong interactions between analyte molecules and nMAG films, we successfully detected diphenylamine with a limit of detection of 4.2 pg. Those wafer-scale nMAG films present promising potential in high-performance THz electronics, photonics, and sensors.

Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) including cucurbit[7]uril block (Q[7]·HAuCl4) were employed to develop a diphenylamine (DPA) sensor in electrochemical method, the presence of HAuCl4 improved the conductivity of the macrocyclic compound. To further enhance of the sensitivity, Au nanoparticles were inserted between the surface of glassy carbon electrode and Q[7]·HAuCl4 MOFs (GCE-AuNPs-Q[7]·HAuCl4). Cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) were applied for evaluation on the electrochemical behavior. For the electrochemical inertness of DPA, a label-free electrochemical sensor in 5 mM K3[Fe(CN)6] solution was achieved, to produce a limit of detection as low as 4.6 µM in a linear range of 5-1000 µM with good reproducibility, high stability and acceptable anti-interference ability. Application of the proposed electrode for the quantitative determination of DPA in tap water and apple juice confirms its real value.
