Abstract
We present dynamic supramolecular systems composed of a Ru(ii) complex of the form of [Ru(dtBubpy)2(qpy)][PF6]2 (where dtBubpy is 4,4′-di-tert-butyl-2,2′-dipyridyl and qpy is 4,4′:2′,2′′:4′′,4′′′-quaterpyridine) and zinc tetraphenylporphyrins (ZnTPP), through non-covalent interactions between the distal pyridines of the qpy and the zinc of ZnTPP.

A family of inverse and regular triazolyl–pyridyl porphyrin–ruthenium(ii) conjugates display an energy transfer from porphyrin to the ruthenium bipyridyl moiety and a narrow HOMO/LUMO energy band gap is responsible for enhanced electronic coupling.

Abstract
A novel binuclear Ru - Cu complex, composed of a copper(III)-corrole and a ruthenium(II) tris(bipyridine) moiety linked by an amide bond, has been synthesized and characterized by 1 H NMR, UV-vis and mass spectrometry. The steady-state emission and the electrochemical properties were investigated. Compared to the parent [ Ru ( bpy )3]2+, the emission of the desired complex was substantially quenched when the MLCT of [ Ru ( bpy )3]2+ was selectively photoexcited.

Abstract
The meso-tetranaphthylporphyrins (TNP) derivatives, 5-(2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde-4-naphthyleneimine)-10,15,20-trinaphthylporphyrin 3, 5-(salicylidene-4-naphthyleneamine)-10,15,20- trinaphthylporphyrin 4 and 5-(thiophene-2-carboxaldehyde-4-naphthyleneimine)-10,15,20-trinaphthylporphyrin 5, were synthesized by the reaction of 5-(4-aminonaphthyl)-l0,15,20-trinaphthylporphyrin 2 with different aldehydes. Their photodynamic activity against K562 cells were evaluated in vitro. They displayed low levels or no dark toxicity and high phototoxicity to K562 cells, especially for 5, which offers potential application in photodynamic therapy.
