Abstract
In the present work, Zn complexed on hybrid manganese doped cobalt ferrite nanoparticles covered by silica were synthesized. These MNPs were characterized using different techniques including Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), Field emission-scanning electron micro-scope (FE-SEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Vibration sample magnetometer (VSM), Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP), Zeta potential and Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). FE-SEM Images showed uniform spherical shape with rough surfaces and an aggregation in structure of MNPs. A decrease in Ms is visible in VSM analysis due to the increase in particle diameter as a result of loading the organic coating on the surface of the magnetic nanoparticles. According to TGA analysis, the synthesized MNPs have good stability up to 125 °C. The ICP analysis indicates the presence of 0.13 mmol/g zinc on the surface of loaded MNPs. The effect of these prepared MNPs as a catalyst was studied in the synthesis of 2-amino-4H-pyran and N- arylquinoline derivatives. This method provides excellent yield of products with short reaction time, simple purification and easy separation of the catalyst. Furthermore, the reusability of the catalyst during five periods was not associated with a significant decrease in its activity.

Abstract
This study reports a facile and cost-effective technique for preparing magnetic copper ferrite nanoparticles supported on IRMOF-3/GO [IRMOF-3/GO/CuFe2O4]. The synthesized IRMOF-3/GO/CuFe2O4 was characterized with IR, SEM, TGA, XRD, BET, EDX, VSM, and elemental mapping. The prepared catalyst revealed higher catalytic behavior in synthesizing heterocyclic compounds through a one-pot reaction between various aromatic aldehydes, diverse primary amines, malononitrile, and dimedone under ultrasound irradiations. Among the notable features of this technique are higher efficiency, easy recovery from the reaction mixture, removal of a heterogeneous catalyst, and uncomplicated route. In this catalytic system, the activity level was almost constant after various stages of reuse and recovery.

Abstract
Michael/ammonolysis cascade reactions between cyclohexane-1,3-dione-derived enaminones and olefinic azlactones via phase-transfer catalysis have been developed. This method provides rapid access to a suite of architecturally complex and diverse quinoline-2,5-diones bearing a secondary amide group at the C-3 position in moderate to excellent yields (53-94%) and with excellent diastereoselectivities (>99 : 1 dr in most cases). The achievement of a preparative-scale reaction and the diverse product derivatization that can be obtained highlight the application potential of this protocol both in academic and industrial settings. An investigation of the reaction mechanism implies that tetrabutylammonium hydroxide may be the actual catalyst during this cascade reaction.

Abstract
AIMS AND OBJECTIVE Condensation of 5-hetarylidene-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane-4,6-diones with 5,5-dimethyl-3-arylamino-2-cyclohexanones yields 1-aryl-4-hetaryl-7,7-dimethyl-2,5-dioxo-l,2,3,4,5,5,7,8-octahydro-quinolines. The structures of all the synthesized compounds have been verified by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and mass spectral methods. The 13C-NMR assignments were supported by HSQC and HMBC experiments. Moreover, spin decoupling and NOE experiments have been carried out in order to elucidate stereoisomeric configurations of the compounds. It has been established that the N-phenyl ring, which projects from the plane of the octahydroquinolinedione ring, has a shielding effect on the magnetic field of the protons at 7- and 8-positions of the ring in the molecules of the compounds synthesized. MATERIALS AND METHODS The NMR spectra were recorded on a Varian Gemini spectrometer [400 MHz (1H) and 100 MHz (13C)]. EI mass spectra were obtained with a Hewlett Packard GC/MS 6890/5973 machine. MALDI-TOF mass measurements were recorded on a Bruker auto-flex III smart beam. RESULTS Various reaction conditions were applied in order to find an optimum and convenient procedure for the formation of octahydroquinoline derivates having hetaryl group. The highest yields (40-50 %) were achieved using acetic acid as solvent, p-toluenesulphonic acid as acidic catalyst, and excess enaminone (1.5 equiv). CONCLUSION We synthesized eight new 1-aryl-7,7-dimethyl-4-hetaryl-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-quinoline-2,5-dione compounds containing thienyl core as a result of Michael addition reaction of Knoevenagel products of Meldrum's acid with dimedone enaminone compounds. Optimum circumstances were established using various reaction conditions and catalyzers throughout the research. The structures of all the synthesized compounds were analyzed by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and mass spectral methods. Furthermore, the structures were verified with the help of 2D (HSQC and HMBC), spin decoupling, and NOE NMR techniques.

Abstract
In this review, the recent synthetic approaches of amino hexahydroquinolines and their spirocyclic structures were highlighted. The synthetic routes include, two-components, three-components or fourcomponents reactions. The two-component [3+3] atom combination reaction represents the simplest method. It involves Michael addition of the electron rich β-carbon of β-enaminones to the activated double bond of cinnamonitriles followed by cyclization to yield hexahydroquinoline compounds. The bioactivity profiles and SAR studies of these compounds were also reviewed with emphasis to the utility of these substances as antimicrobial, anticancer and antitubercular agents, as well as calcium channel modulators.

Abstract
The PVP and its derivatives have been broadly applied in polymers, organic
syntheses, and catalysis processes. The crosslinked PVP is a well-known polymer support
for numerous reagents and catalysts. Cross-linked PVPs are commercially available polymers
and have attracted much attention over the past due to their interesting properties
such as the facile functionalization, high accessibility of functional groups, being nonhygroscopic,
easy to prepare, easy filtration, and swelling in many organic solvents. A
brief explanation of the reported applications of PVPs in different fields followed by the
discussion on the implementation of methodologies for catalytic efficiency of PVP-based
reagents in the organic synthesis is included. The aim is to summarize the literature under
a few catalytic categories and to present each as a short scheme involving reaction conditions.
In the text, discussions on the synthesis and the structural determination of some typical polymeric reagents
are presented, and the mechanisms of some organic reactions are given. Where appropriate, advantages
of reagents in comparison with the previous reports are presented. This review does not include patent literature.

Abstract
A novel series of N-functionalized 4-aryl-tetrahydrobiquinoline-2,5-(1H,3H)-diones were synthesized in high yields by a one-pot three-component reaction involving 2-chloroquinoline-3-carbaldehydes, Meldrum’s acid, and enaminones (dimedone-based enaminones) in the presence of K2CO3 in CH3CN under reflux condition. To gain a deep insight on the mechanism of the reaction, an extensive series of quantum mechanics calculations in the framework of density functional theory (DFT) were carried out for supporting the suggested reaction pathway.

Abstract
A convenient protocol for the library synthesis of biologically important 1-aryl-2',6-spiro(1',3'-indanedione)-1H-indeno[1,2-b]quinoline-5,7-diones has been developed. In this one-pot reaction protocol a tetrone is condensed with various N-aryl/alkylenamines of 1,3-cyclohexadiones on the surface of a solid-supported acid catalyst silica sulfuric acid under solvent-free condition. The significant advantages of this methodology are the use of solvent-free reaction conditions, operational simplicity of the reaction, good yield of the products with high atom economy, and employment of a recyclable catalyst. All these favorable factors make the present method convenient, economic, and 'benign by design'.

Abstract
Medicinal chemistry has been benefited by combinatorial chemistry and high-throughput parallel synthesis. Ionic liquids reduce the materials and energy intensity of chemical processes and products, minimize or eliminate the dispersion of harmful chemicals in the environment, maximize the use of renewable resources and extend the durability and recyclability of products. It is possible to tune the physical and chemical properties by varying the nature of the cations and anions. Ionic liquids can be easily recovered, cleaned up, and reused repeatedly.

Abstract
A combinatorial synthesis of pyrrolo[3,2-f]quinoline and pyrrolo[3,2-a]acridine derivatives is described as a three-component reaction of aromatic aldehyde, 1H-indol-5-amine, and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds under catalyst-free conditions. The 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds include 5,5-dimethylcyclohexane-1,3-dione, cyclopentane-1,3-dione, and 2H-indene-1,3-dione. It is interesting that the designed reactions gave aromatized or unaromatized products, which depend on the reaction temperature and reactants of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds.

Abstract
A combinatorial synthesis of 3-arylideneaminoquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivatives is described by a reaction of 2-aminobenzohydrazides with two equivalents of aldehydes or ketones in ionic liquids catalyzed by iodine. Controlling the reaction temperature or reducing the activity of the substrates, respectively, the intermediate products of hydrazones were obtained first, and then they were applied to react with various aromatic aldehydes without being separated, resulting in structural diversification of quinazolinone derivatives.
