Abstract
In this work, an eco-friendly, green, efficient approach for oxidative and reductive Heck-Mizoroki (HM) reactions was developed, which offered acceptable yields from first-pass experiments. Mono-arylation was achieved without the use of ligands, directing groups, or prefunctionalized alkenes. Considering mild reaction conditions, good functional group compatibility, and great regioselectivity, the method can find broad applications in novel medicine and material development and discovery processes.

Abstract
This study shows that various di- and tri-substituted alkenes with high chemoselectivity were obtained in good to high yields by coupling N-tosylhydrazones (NTHs) with benzylic phosphates as electrophilic partners. The obtained new catalytic system consisted of PdCl2(CH3CN)2/dppp, LiOtBu as a base, and cyclopentyl methyl ether as a green solvent. In addition, we performed a gram-scale transformation using NTH derivatives and benzylic phosphates having a C sp2-Cl bond. The latter was used as a starting point for further postfunctionalization of the key intermediates.

Abstract
Activation of the dialkylpalladium complex (phen)Pd(CH3)2 (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) with B(C6F5)3 affords a competent catalyst for the dimerization of vinyl silanes. All organic products of the catalytic dimerization of trialkoxyvinylsilanes were characterized by in situ NMR spectroscopy and GC–MS. The putative palladium cation was characterized by NMR spectroscopy. Upon activation, the palladium complex generated products in moderate yield (60–70%) and selectivity (~60:40, dimer:disproportionation products).

Abstract
The Mizoroki-Heck reaction was applied to substrates derived from isocostic and ilicic acids, important sesquiterpene components of Dittrichia viscosa L. Greuter that were extracted directly from plant material collected in Morocco. After optimization of the metallo-catalysis conditions, various aryl-groups were successfully introduced on the exocyclic double bond with an exclusive E-configuration and without racemization.

Abstract
A palladium-catalyzed intermolecular vicinal diarylation of terminal 1,3-dienes using aryldiazonium tetrafluoroborates and arylboronic acids is reported. Using this technology, two different arenes are regioselectively introduced in a vicinal fashion across the terminal alkene of a variety of terminal 1,3-dienes at ambient temperature. Through the action of a chiral bicyclo[2.2.2]octadienyl ligand at -20 °C, good enantioselectivity has also been achieved.
