Abstract
Despite the fact that the self-disproportionation of enantiomers (SDE) has been found for several decades and has been widely used in crystallization, sublimation and chromatography for the purification or separation of nonracemic compounds, the phenomenon of SDE in capillary electrophoresis (CE) has never been reported up to now. Here, a new approach to separate enantiomers in CE based on SDE was demonstrated by introducing copper (II) ions into the separation media. The enantiomers of atenolol interact with copper ions to produce positively charged complexes with different electrophoretic mobilities from the single molecules. The dynamic equilibrium between homo- or heterochiral complexes (associates) and single molecules of atenolol enantiomers supports the manifestation of SDE. Different mobilities of the single molecules and associates, and different distribution of two enantiomers between the single molecules and associates caused by their different concentrations, produce a net difference in electrodriven migration velocities of the two enantiomers. The relative movement of two enantiomers causes a zone depleted in one enantiomer at the rear end of sample segment, giving a trapezoidal CE curve with a step at the end. Quantification of enantiomers is achieved according to the step height. The analysis does not rely on the use of enantiomerically pure chiral selector and the result agrees with that obtained by conventional chiral CE using a chiral selector.

Abstract
A one-pot synthesis of 1H-isochromenes and 1,2-dihydroisoquinolines by a I-MCR/Wittig sequence was developed. The reaction of phosphonium salt , an acid, an amine (or without), and an isocyanide gave the 1H-isochromenes or 1,2-dihydroisoquinolines in good yields by a sequential Passerini or Ugi condensation and an intramolecular Wittig reaction in the presence of K2CO3.

Abstract
Silver is a less expensive noble metal. Superior alkynophilicity due to π-coordination with the carbon-carbon triple bond makes silver salts ideal catalysts for alkyne-based organic reactions. This review highlights the progress in alkyne chemistry via silver catalysis primarily over the past five years (ca. 2010-2014). The discussion is developed in terms of the bond type formed with the acetylenic carbon (i.e., C-C, C-N, C-O, C-Halo, C-P and C-B). Compared with other coinage metals such as Au and Cu, silver catalysis is frequently observed to be unique. This critical review clearly indicates that silver catalysis provides a significant impetus to the rapid evolution of alkyne-based organic reactions, such as alkynylation, hydrofunctionalization, cycloaddition, cycloisomerization, and cascade reactions.

Abstract
A highly enantioselective hydroamination/N-sulfonyliminium cyclization cascade is reported using a combination of gold(I) and chiral phosphoric acid catalysts. An initial 5-exo-dig hydroamination and a subsequent phosphoric acid catalyzed cyclization process provide access to complex sulfonamide scaffolds in excellent yield and high enantiocontrol. The method can be extended to lactam derivatives, with excellent yields and enantiomeric excesses of up to 93% ee.
