Abstract
As important substrates for the construction of heterocycles, a simple and efficient approach for synthesis of 1,4-diones is highly desirable. In this work, novel and efficient electrochemical radical reactions of enol acetates and 1,3-diketones have been developed to successfully achieve 1,4-diketones under catalyst-free and oxidant-free conditions. The wide range of substrates, good group tolerance, and simple operation process make the approach have important practical value. Moreover, the obtained 1,4-diketones can be easily further transformed to pyrrole and furan derivatives.

Abstract
We report herein the phosphine-catalyzed 1,2-diacylation of alkynes using acyl fluorides and acylsilanes as acyl sources. The key to the success of the reaction is a formal oxidative addition-ligand metathesis-reductive elimination cycle based on phosphine redox catalysis, which allows for the installation of two different acyl groups into an alkyne in a regioselective manner.

Abstract
Furans are five-membered aromatic heterocycles containing one oxygen atom that are important
building blocks in organic chemistry, but also as natural products found in various natural
sources, mostly in plants, algae and microorganisms. In this review, we discussed recent advances in the
synthesis of furan compounds. Some classical methods have been modified and improved, while other
new methods have been developed. A vast variety of catalysts was used for these transformations. In
many studies, furan synthesis reaction mechanisms were also investigated and proposed.
