Abstract
Nuclear factor kappa beta (NF-κB) plays a pivotal role in breast cancer, particularly triple-negative breast cancer, by promoting inflammation, proliferation, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, metastasis, and drug resistance. Upregulation of NF-κB boosts vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression, assisting angiogenesis. The Ru(II) complexes of methyl- and dimethylpyrazolyl-benzimidazole N,N donors inhibit phosphorylation of ser536 in p65 and translocation of the NF-κB heterodimer (p50/p65) to the nucleus, disabling transcription to upregulate inflammatory signaling. The methyl- and dimethylpyrazolyl-benzimidazole inhibit VEGFR2 phosphorylation at Y1175, disrupting downstream signaling through PLC-γ and ERK1/2, ultimately suppressing Ca(II)-signaling. Partial release of the antiangiogenic ligand in a reactive oxygen species-rich environment is possible as per our observation to inhibit both NF-κB and VEGFR2 by the complexes. The complexes are nontoxic to zebrafish embryos up to 50 μM, but the ligands show strong in vivo antiangiogenic activity at 3 μM during embryonic growth in Tg(fli1:GFP) zebrafish but no visible effect on the adult phase.

Abstract
Abstract
Electrochemical bromination and iodination of some pyrazoles were investigated under constant-current (CC) electrolysis in an undivided electrochemical cell. Anodic oxidation of KX salt produces X2
in-situ which can be consumed as an expedient electrophile in pyrazoles aromatic electrophilic substitution reactions or may participate in an X–N coupling reaction with electrochemically catalyzed pyrazolesox to form the halogenated pyrazoles. All reactions proceeded without the need to use any hazardous reagents or catalysts. The reaction conditions are mild and environmentally compatible.

Abstract
A new convenient and versatile halogenating system (R4NHal/NOHSO4), giving straightforward and general access to halogenated 3,5-diaryl- and alkylarylisoxazoles, pyrazoles and electron-rich benzenes from the corresponding scaffolds, is suggested. The method provides excellent regioselectivity, scalability to the gram scale, and a broad scope for both aromatics and halogens. A three-step, one-pot reaction protocol was developed, and a series of 3,5-diaryl-4-haloisoxazoles has been efficiently synthesized from 1,2-diarylcyclopropanes under suggested nitrosating-halogenating conditions.

Abstract
An efficient protocol providing easy access to highly functionalized heterocyclic compounds as novel organic building blocks was developed by coupling alkyl pyrazole-, indazole- and indolecarboxylates with N-Boc-3-iodoazetidine. The synthesized compounds are representatives of constrained non-chiral synthetic azole carboxylates in their N-Boc protected ester forms. Diversification of the prepared heterocyclic building blocks was achieved via application of palladium-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. In total, 34 building blocks were obtained to form a highly diversified small molecule collection. The structure of the novel heterocyclic compounds was investigated and verified by advanced NMR spectroscopy methods.

Abstract
Bromination is one of the most important transformations in organic synthesis and can be carried out using bromine and many other bromo compounds. Use of molecular bromine in organic synthesis is well-known. However, due to the hazardous nature of bromine, enormous growth has been witnessed in the past several decades for the development of solid bromine carriers. This review outlines the use of bromine and different bromo-organic compounds in organic synthesis. The applications of bromine, a total of 107 bromo-organic compounds, 11 other brominating agents, and a few natural bromine sources were incorporated. The scope of these reagents for various organic transformations such as bromination, cohalogenation, oxidation, cyclization, ring-opening reactions, substitution, rearrangement, hydrolysis, catalysis, etc. has been described briefly to highlight important aspects of the bromo-organic compounds in organic synthesis.

Abstract
Five halogen substituted pyrazolates, 4-chloro-3,5-diisopropylpyrazole (4-Cl-3,5-iPr2pzH), 4-bromo-3,5-diisopropylpyrazole (4-Br-3,5-iPr2pzH), 4-iodo-3,5-diisopropylpyrazole (4-I-3,5-iPr2pzH), 4-chloro-3,5-diphenylpyrazole (4-Cl-3,5-Ph2pzH), and 4-bromo-3,5-diphenylpyrazole (4-Br-3,5-Ph2pzH), were conveniently prepared by halogenation of the appropriate pyrazoles with N-halosuccinimides (NXS) (X = Cl, Br, and I) followed by complexation of the pyrazolate anions with silver(i) nitrate. Single crystal X-ray analysis revealed either dimeric trinuclear {[Ag(μ-4-X-3,5-R2pz)]3}2 (R = iPr, X = Cl, Br, and I) or trinuclear [Ag(μ-4-X 3,5-R2pz)]3 (R = iPr, X = I; R = Ph, X = Cl, R = Ph, X = Br) structures, the latter held together with argentophilic interactions (AgAg interactions) that could also be observed in the Raman spectra. The electronegativity of the halogen substituent could be correlated with the strength of the AgAg interaction and the wavelength of solid-state photoluminescence. All complexes were emissive on UV irradiation at low temperatures, with the colour of emission from the diisopropyl substituted analogues red shifted by the halogens in the order Cl (red) > Br (orange) > I (yellow). Emission from the diphenyl substituted analogues was dominated by the extended aromatic system and was largely invariant to the halogens.

Abstract
A fast and convenient approach to the synthesis of fully substituted 1,3,4-oxadiazoles via three-component reaction of aromatic carboxylic acids, acenaphthoquinone, and (N-isocyanimino)triphenylphosphorane under ultrasound irradiation is described. Furthermore, a series of compounds were synthesized and characterized by melting point, IR, NMR and MS. Utilization of easy reaction conditions, very high to excellent yields, and short reaction times makes this manipulation potentially very useful.

Abstract
The ultrasound-promoted synthesis of novel bipodal and tripodalpiperidin-4-ones was carried out by the reaction of 4-piperidone hydrochloride monohydrate with different alkylating and acylating agents. It was preferably reduced to respective piperidin-4-ols by ultrasonic irradiation using silica chloride, which maintains higher yields by acting as an effective supporting polymer. The sterically hindered phthaloyl derivative of piperidin-4-one was synthesized by ultrasonic irradiation which was difficult by conventional methods.

Abstract
The Biginelli reaction is a multicomponent reaction involving the condensation between an aldehyde, a β-ketoester, and urea or thiourea, in the presence of an acid catalyst, producing dihydropyrimidinones (DHPMs). Owing to their important pharmacological properties, the DHPMs have been studied by many authors. However, most of the methodologies used for the synthesis of these compounds require drastic reaction conditions. In the current study, we report an efficient and clean procedure for preparing DHPMs by the use of citric acid or tartaric acid as a promoter of the Biginelli synthesis in ethanol as solvent. In addition, we have evaluated the antioxidant capacity of the compounds synthesized by the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging assay and the thiobarbituric acid-reactive species test. Two compounds presented antioxidant activity and also reduced lipid peroxidation at concentrations of 200 and 300 µM. In summary, we report an environmentally friendly procedure for the preparation of DHPMs and demonstrate the antioxidant capacity of some of the compounds.

Abstract
The alternative synthesis of 12 1,2,4-oxadiazoles using ultrasound irradiation from trichloroacetoamidoxime and acyl chlorides is reported. Seven of them are novel compounds. The 3-trichloromethyl-5alkyl(aryl)-1,2,4-oxadiazoles have been synthesised in better yields and shorter reaction times compared to the conventional method. This protocol can be applicable for preparation of 1,2,4-oxadiazoles containing aryl or alkyl groups attached at their C-5 side-chain.
