Abstract
A general and practical method for the construction of various 3,4,5-trisubstituted 1,2,4-triazoles via I2-catalyzed cycloaddition of N-functionalized amidines with hydrazones is reported. This strategy features cheap and readily available catalyst and starting materials, broader substrate scope, and moderate-to-good yields. The mechanism study shows that the existence of hydrogen on the nitrogen of hydrazones is crucial for this transformation.

Abstract

A one-pot 1,3,4-oxadiazole synthesis-arylation strategy
for accessing
2,5-disubstituted 1,3,4-oxadiazoles, from carboxylic acids, N-isocyaniminotriphenylphosphorane (NIITP), and aryl iodides,
is reported. The reaction sequence, featuring a second stage copper-catalyzed
1,3,4-oxadiazole arylation, was found to tolerate (hetero)aryl, alkyl,
and alkenyl carboxylic acids, and (hetero)aryl iodide coupling partners.
The effectiveness of the two-stage strategy was exemplified by the
late-stage functionalization of five carboxylic acid-containing APIs,
and an extension to the synthesis of aminated 1,3,4-oxadiazoles using N-benzoyloxy amine coupling partners was also demonstrated.

Abstract
Background & Objective:
Series of synthesized molecular compounds were considered as
anti-breast cancer. The molecular descriptors which describe the microbial activities of the studied
compounds were calculated using theoretical approach.
Methods:
The calculated parameters obtained EHOMO (eV), ELUMO (eV), dipole moment (Debye), log P,
molecular weight (amu), HBA, HBD, Vol and Ovality were screened. The obtained calculated descriptors
were used to develop QSAR model for prediction of experimental inhibition concentration
(IC50) using SPSS and Gretl software packages for multiple linear regression (MLR) and MATLAB for
the artificial neural network (ANN).
Results:
From this statistical analysis, MLR and ANN were observed to be predictive, however, ANNQSAR
model predicted more efficiently than MLR.
Conclusion:
Furthermore, molecular docking study was executed with breast cancer cell line
(PDB ID: 1hi7); it was observed that BS20 with binding energy of -7.0 kcal/mol bounded more efficiently
than other compounds also, it inhibited more than the standard used (5-FU).

Abstract
A simple and rapid microwave-assisted synthesis of heteroaromatic appended porphyrins using the Pd/Cu-catalyzed C-C coupling of meso-bromoporphyrins with various five- and six-membered heteroaromatic azoles has been successfully developed. The prepared heteroaromatic porphyrins 7a-lNi were found to exhibit slightly red-shifted (∼5-10 nm) Soret and Q bands. The developed reaction conditions are useful for the preparation of diversely substituted heteroaromatic porphyrins (A3B- and A2B2-types).
