Abstract
Monoalkyl phosphonic derivatives obtained by the microwave (MW)- and ionic liquid-promoted direct esterification of alkylphosphonic acids were converted to the corresponding dialkyl alkylphosphonates on reaction with alkyl halides in the presence of triethylamine, under solvent-free MW-assisted conditions. Derivatives with different alkoxy groups were also synthesized. A minor "disproportionation" side reaction was identified during the preparation of dialkyl alkylphosphonates with different alkoxy groups. All together 12 alkylphosphonates were prepared by the efficient method developed.

Abstract
A practical and facile strategy for the synthesis of ortho-phosphated (hetero)arylamines from readily available arylhydroxylamines and dialkyl phosphites via cascade Atherton-Todd reaction/[3,3]-rearrangement was developed. This method is amenable to various arylhydroxylamines such as phenylhydroxylamines, naphthylhydroxylamines, and pyridylhydroxylamines, has mild reaction conditions, is oxidant-free, and has good functional-group compatibility and excellent regioselectivity.

Abstract
Herein, we report a Lewis acid-catalyzed Pudovik reaction–phospha-Brook rearrangement sequence between diarylphosphonates or -phosphinates and α-pyridinealdehydes to access valuable phosphoric ester compounds. This transformation provides an extended substrate scope that is complementary to similar previously reported base-catalyzed transformations.

Abstract
AbstractIt is a reasonable endeavour to replace P-chloride starting materials (e.g., POCl3) with greener and cheaper reagents. Our purpose was to start from phosphorus pentoxide, i.e. to utilize its reaction with alcohols in the preparation of (HO)2P(O)(OR) and HOP(O)(OR)2, and to convert the mixtures of the corresponding monoester and diester, so obtained, into the target trialkyl esters. Separate experiments showed that the monobutylphosphate undergo microwave (MW)-assisted esterification with butanol in the presence of [bmim][BF4] catalyst at 200 °C to afford dibutylphosphate in a selective manner (ca. 95%) that, in turn, may be converted into tributylphosphate by alkylation under MW irradiation. In this way, the mixtures of (HO)2P(O)(OR) and HOP(O)(OR)2 obtained by the practical reaction of phosphorus pentoxide and alcohol (ROH) could also be converted in two additional steps into the corresponding trialkyl esters. The three-step synthesis of trialkylphosphates starting from phosphorus pentoxide was also transformed in a one-pot (step 1: preparation of the monoester diester mixture, step 2: diesterification) and telescoping (step 3: triesterification) variation, avoiding the isolation and purification of the intermediates, and affording the triesters in 86–93% yields. The three- and two-step P-chloride-free methods developed are ‘green’ and of more general value.

Abstract
As we all know, organic phosphorus compounds have high application values in chemical industries. Compared with traditional compounds with P-X (X = Cl, Br, I) and P-H bonds, phosphorylation reagents containing P(O)-OH bonds are stable, environmentally friendly, and inexpensive. However, in recent years, there have been few studies on the selective functionalization of P(O)-OH bonds for the fabrication of P-C and P-Z bonds. In general, four-coordinated P(O)-OH compounds have reached coordination saturation due to the phosphorus atom center, but cannot evolve the phosphorus coordination center through intra-molecular tautomerization; however, the weak coordination effects between the P=O bond and transition metals can be utilized to activate P(O)-OH bonds. This review highlights the most important recent contributions toward the selective functionalization of P(O)-OH bonds via cyclization/cross coupling/esterification reactions using transition metals or small organic molecules as the catalyst.

Abstract
Biotinylated Portulaca oleracea polysaccharide (Bio-POP) conjugates were successfully prepared by the esterification reaction. The biotinylated polysaccharide products were an off-white powder with an average degree of substitution of 42.5%. After grafting biotin onto POP, the thermal stability of Bio-POP conjugates was much higher than that of POP and the surface topography of Bio-POP was a loose and porous cross-linked structure. The cytotoxicity assay in vitro demonstrated that POP, biotin, and Bio-POP conjugates exhibited different cytotoxicity to HeLa, MCF-7, LO-2, and A549, in particular POP inhibited the growth of the A549 cell line more than other cell lines. The nuclear staining method demonstrated that Bio-POP conjugates can interfere with the apoptosis of A549 cells to some extent and the immunofluorescence staining photograph illustrated that Bio-POP conjugates induced A549 cells to exhibit immune activity. Therefore, the combination of biotin and Portulaca oleracea polysaccharides had immune synergistic therapeutic effects on A549 cells and can be applied in the field of anti-tumor conjugate drugs. Biotin grafted onto Portulaca oleracea polysaccharides (Bio-POP) was successfully prepared by the esterification reaction. Bio-POP conjugates had an obvious effect on the proliferation of A549 cells and induced A549 cells to exhibit immune activity.![]()
