Gastrointestinal surgery is increasingly being performed. Despite improving technology and outcomes, complications are not completely avoidable. Frequently, surgical complications require invasive procedures for management. However, with increasing availability of flexible endoscopy and a wider array of tools, more often these complications can be managed with an endolumenal approach.
