Abstract
Nature has been a rich source of pharmaceutical compounds, producing 80% of our currently prescribed drugs. The feijoa plant, Acca sellowiana, is classified in the family Myrtaceae, native to South America, and currently grown worldwide to produce feijoa fruit. Feijoa is a rich source of bioactive compounds with anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal activities; however, the mechanism of action of these compounds is largely not known. Here, we used chemical genetic analyses in the model organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae to investigate the mechanism of action of a feijoa-derived ethanol adduct of vescalagin (EtOH-vescalagin). Genome-wide barcode sequencing analysis revealed yeast strains lacking genes in iron metabolism, zinc metabolism, retromer function, or mitochondrial function were hypersensitive to 0.3 µM EtOH-vescalagin. This treatment increased expression of iron uptake proteins at the plasma membrane, which was a compensatory response to reduced intracellular iron. Likewise, EtOH-vescalagin increased expression of the Cot1 protein in the vacuolar membrane that transports zinc into the vacuole to prevent cytoplasmic accumulation of zinc. Each individual subunit in the retromer complex was required for the iron homeostatic mechanism of EtOH-vescalagin, while only the cargo recognition component in the retromer complex was required for the zinc homeostatic mechanism. Overexpression of either retromer subunits or high-affinity iron transporters suppressed EtOH-vescalagin bioactivity in a zinc-replete condition, while overexpression of only retromer subunits increased EtOH-vescalagin bioactivity in a zinc-deficient condition. Together, these results indicate that EtOH-vescalagin bioactivity begins with extracellular iron chelation and proceeds with intracellular transport of zinc via the retromer complex. More broadly, this is the first report of a bioactive compound to further characterize the poorly understood interaction between zinc metabolism and retromer function.

Abstract
Research into histone deacetylases (HDACs) has experienced a remarkable surge in recent years. These enzymes are key regulators of several fundamental biological processes, often associated with severe and potentially fatal diseases. Inhibition of their activity represents a promising therapeutic approach and a prospective strategy for the development of new therapeutic agents. A critical aspect of their inhibition is to achieve selectivity in terms of enzyme isoforms, which is essential to improve treatment efficacy while reducing undesirable pleiotropic effects. The development of computational chemistry tools, particularly molecular docking, is greatly enhancing the precision of designing molecules with inherent potential for specific activity. Therefore, it was considered necessary to review the molecular docking studies conducted on the major isozymes of the enzyme in order to identify the specific interactions associated with each selective HDAC inhibitor. In particular, the most critical isozymes of HDAC (1, 2, 3, 6, and 8) have been thoroughly investigated within the scope of this review.

Abstract
Dietary fiber (DF) significantly affects the quality attributes of food matrices. Depending on its chemical composition, molecular structure, and degree of hydration, the behavior of DF may differ. Numerous reports confirm that incorporating DF derived from food waste into food products has significant effects on textural, sensory, rheological, and antimicrobial properties. Additionally, the characteristics of DF, modification techniques (chemical, enzymatic, mechanical, thermal), and processing conditions (temperature, pH, ionic strength), as well as the presence of other components, can profoundly affect the functionalities of DF. This review aims to describe the interactions between DF and water, focusing on the effects of free water, freezing-bound water, and unfreezing-bound water on the hydration capacity of both soluble and insoluble DF. The review also explores how the structural, functional, and environmental properties of DF contribute to its hydration capacity. It becomes evident that the interactions between DF and water, and their effects on the rheological properties of food matrices, are complex and multifaceted subjects, offering both opportunities and challenges for further exploration. Utilizing DF extracted from food waste exhibits promise as a sustainable and viable strategy for the food industry to create nutritious and high-value-added products, while concurrently reducing reliance on primary virgin resources.

Abstract
The structure characteristics, functional properties, antioxidant and hypoglycemic activities of pectins extracted from feijoa peel with water (FP-W), acid (FP-A) and alkali (FP-B) were investigated. Results showed that the feijoa peel pectins (FPs) were mainly composed of galacturonic acid, arabinose, galactose and rhamnose. FP-W and FP-A had higher proportion of homogalacturonan domain, degree of esterification and molecular weight (for main component) than FP-B; FP-B owned the highest yield, protein and polyphenol contents. FP-W had a compact and smooth surface morphology unlike FP-A and FP-B. FP-W and FP-A had better thermal stability than FP-B. The rheological analysis suggested that the FPs exhibited pseudoplastic fluid behavior, and the elastic characteristics were dominant. Results showed that FP-W and FP-B had superior antioxidant and hypoglycemic activities than FP-A. According to correlation analysis, monosaccharide composition, sugar ratios and degree of acetylation were chief factors affecting the functional properties, antioxidant and hypoglycemic activities of the FPs.

Abstract
This study aimed to assess the effects of insoluble dietary fiber (IDF) from feijoa supplementation on the physicochemical and functional properties of wheat bread. The results showed that feijoa IDF (FJI) had the typical structures of hydrolysis fiber, polysaccharide functional groups, and crystal structure of cellulose. The gradual increase of FJI levels (from 2 to 8%) in wheat bread resulted in increased total DF, ash, and protein contents, accompanied by a reduction in moisture, carbohydrates, and energy value. The inclusion of FJI in the bread crumb caused a rise in both redness (a*) and yellowness (b*) values while decreasing the brightness (L*) relative to the control specimen. In addition, adding FJI up to 2% significantly increased total phenolic and flavonoid contents and antioxidant activity, as well as flavor score of supplemented bread samples, while additions above 2% resulted in undesirable taste and texture. FJI addition caused higher bile acid, NO2-, and cholesterol adsorption capacities. Moreover, FJI addition up to 4% significantly reduced glucose adsorption capacities at different in vitro starch digestion intervals. The findings revealed that FJI offers great potential as an ideal functional ingredient in food processing.

Abstract
Blood clotting has become one of the most dangerous side effects associated with Corona virus, as well as the high level of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. Therefore, it has become necessary to use medicinal plants that are biologically safe and containing anti-clotting compound. Feijoa sellowiana represents a prolific source diverse compounds that may have thrombolytic activity. Therefore, the main research point is the production and scaling up of a target contents that have anticoagulants by using biotechnological techniques; calli production, and bioreactors and assessed their activity through in-vivo study. Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium enriched with varying concentrations of benzyl adenine (BA) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) was used to cultivate calli and cell suspension cultures from F. sellowiana seeds. Bioreactors were employed to boost active constituent's production. Moreover, the bioreactor physical factors such as effect of controlled or uncontrolled pH medium were investigated. The leaves of the main plant were extracted by ethanol 70% and polar and non-polar extracts were also prepared. The ethanol extract of calli and cells resulting from bioreactors were also prepared. All prepared extracts were subjected to chemical analysis by HPLC, in-vitro antioxidant assays, in-vivo anticoagulant activity and histopathological examination. Calli and cell suspension cultures were produced by using MS medium fortified with 1 mg/L BA+ 0.1 mg/L NAA. It was found that culturing of cell cultures in a bioreactor with uncontrolled pH and aeration at the value of 0.5 L/min gave the maximum and economical fresh and dry weights of the plants. After evaluation of all extracts; it was found that the calli ethanol extract for each plant was the highest value of total phenolic and total flavonoid contents either quantitatively or qualitatively. All extracts of Feijoa had antioxidant activity. The IC50 of the DPPH of Feijoa calli extract was 13.45 μg/mL, it was also confirmed by FRAP and ABTs values. Feijoa calli extract decreased platelet aggregation by suppression of thrombin, extended aPTT, PT, bleeding and clotting times. It was safer than warfarin medication. From these findings the authors can conclude that Feijoa had highly anticoagulant activity and the calli production achieved the goal of the enhancement of the phenolic constituent and thus their activity.

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effect of four green extraction techniques (ultrasound-assisted extraction, UAE; supercritical fluid extraction, SFE; subcritical water extraction, SWE; and extraction using deep eutectic solvents, DES) on the extraction of targeted flavonoids from edible feijoa flowers. The bioactive components in the obtained extracts were quantified by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography-Photodiode Array Detector (HPLC-PDA). Moreover, total polyphenol content and antioxidant activity by DPPH•, ABTS•+, FRAP, and CUPRAC assays were investigated. UAE generally gave the highest yields for isoquercitrin and quercetin content (18.36-25.33 and 10.86-16.13 µg/g), while DES extraction with choline chloride:lactic acid (1:2) and H2O content of 50% gave the highest yield of chrysanthemin (90.81 µg/g). The highest yield of flavone (12.69 mg/g) was obtained with supercritical CO2 at 300 bar. Finally, UAE gave the highest total polyphenol content (ca. 64 mg GAE/g) and antioxidant activity at 70 °C during 30 min with 40% (0.84 mmol TEAC/g and 2.25 mmol Fe2+/g, for ABTS•+ and CUPRAC, respectively) and 60% ethanol-water solution (0.49 mmol TEAC/g and 2.09 mmol Fe2+/g, for DPPH• and FRAP, respectively). The eco-friendly extraction techniques resulted in selective methods capable of extracting targeted bioactive compounds from edible feijoa flowers.

Abstract
Thirteen varieties of feijoa (Feijoa sellowiana) fruit were collected and the physical and chemical properties of feijoa peel, flesh, seed, and leaf were analyzed. Large diversities in the physicochemical characteristics and phenolic and volatile composition among various parts and between different varieties of feijoa were observed. Degrees Brix of whole fruits ranged from 10.1 (Anatoki) to 18.0 (No. 2) °Brix. Procyanidin B-type tetramer, procyanidin B-type dimer, and procyanidin C-type trimer had the highest concentrations in all parts and varieties of feijoa. Caffeoyl glucose, dihydroferulic acid 4-O-glucuronide, galloyl glucose, and lariciresinol-sesquilignan were detected in feijoa fruits and leaves. A total of 105 esters, 68 terpenes, 20 alcohols, 31 hydrocarbons, 12 aldehydes, and 11 ketones were related to aromatic attributes of fruits and leaves. Early season and mid-season varieties had larger variations in the chemical properties than late-season varieties. Anatoki, Kakariki, and No.1, have the potential to be developed for attractive flavor and functional properties.

Abstract
Chitosan has gained agro-industrial interest due to its potential applications in food preservation. In this work, chitosan applications for exotic fruit coating, using feijoa as a case of study, were evaluated. For this, we synthetized and characterized chitosan from shrimp shells and tested its performance. Chemical formulations for coating preparation using chitosan were proposed and tested. Mechanical properties, porosity, permeability, and fungal and bactericidal characteristics were used to verify the potential application of the film in the protection of fruits. The results indicated that synthetized chitosan has comparable properties to commercial chitosan (deacetylation degree > 82%), and, for the case of feijoa, the chitosan coating achieved significant reduction of microorganisms and fungal growth (0 UFC/mL for sample 3). Further, membrane permeability allowed oxygen exchange suitable for fruit freshness and natural physiological weight loss, thus delaying oxidative degradation and prolonging shelf-life. Chitosan's characteristic of a permeable film proved to be a promising alternative for the protection and extension of the freshness of post-harvest exotic fruits.

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the chemical composition of essential oils isolated from Acca sellowiana (feijoa) leaves and stems and elaborate on their relevance as natural anti-aging, coupled with molecular-docking studies. The isolated oils were analysed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis and investigated for inhibitory effects against acetylcholinesterase, β -secretase, collagenase, elastase and tyrosinase. Molecular-modelling study was performed using MOE-Dock program to evaluate binding interactions of major components with the above-mentioned targets. The leaf oil revealed the predominance of caryophyllene oxide (24.3%), linalool (7.9%), and spathulenol (6.6%), while the stem oil was presented by caryophyllene oxide (38.1%), α-zingiberene (10.1%) and humulene oxide II (6.0%). The stem oil expressed superior inhibitory activities against acetylcholinesterase (IC 50 =0.15±0.01µg/mL), β -secretase (IC 50 =3.99±0.23µg/mL), collagenase (IC 50 =408.10±20.80 µg/mL), elastase (IC 50 =0.17±0.01 μg/mL) and tyrosinase (IC 50 =8.45 ± 0.40µg/mL). The valuable binding interactions and docking scores were observed for caryophyllene oxide and α-zingiberene with acetylcholinesterase. Besides, α-zingibirene followed by linalool and τ-cadinol revealed tight fitting with collagenase and elastase. Additionally, linalool, spathulenol and τ-cadinol showed the best binding energy to tyrosinase. This study provides valuable scientific data on A. sellowiana as potential candidates for the development of natural antiaging formulations.

Abstract
Understanding morphological and physiological changes under different light conditions in native fruit species in juveniles' stage is important, as it indicate the appropriate environment to achieve vigorous saplings. We aimed to verify growth and morphophysiological changes under shade gradient in feijoa (Acca sellowiana (O. Berg) Burret) to achieve good quality saplings adequate to improve cultivation in orchards. The saplings were grown for twenty-one-month under four shading treatments (0%, 30%, 50%, and 80%). Growth, photosynthetic pigments, gas exchanges, chlorophyll fluorescence, and leaf anatomy parameters were evaluated. Saplings under full sun and 30% shade had higher height and diameter growth and dry mass accumulation due to higher photosynthesis rate. As main acclimatization mechanisms in feijoa saplings under 80% shade were developed larger leaf area, reduced leaf blade thickness, and enhanced quantum yield of photosystem II. Even so, the net CO2 assimilation and the electron transport rate was lower and, consequently, there was a restriction on the growth and dry mass in saplings under deep shade. Therefore, to obtain higher quality feijoa saplings, we recommend that it be carried out in full sun or up to 30% shade, to maximize the sapling vigor in nurseries and, later, this light environment can also be used in orchards for favor growth and fruit production.

Abstract
Feijoa sellowiana leaves and fruits have been investigated as a source of diverse bioactive metabolites. Extract and eight metabolites isolated from F. sellowiana leaves were evaluated for their enzymatic inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase, amylase, tyrosinase, acetylcholinestrerase and butyrylcholinesterase both in vitro and in silico. Feijoa leaves’ extract showed strong antioxidant activity and variable levels of inhibitions against target enzymes with a strong anti-tyrosinase activity (115.85 mg Kojic acid equivalent/g). Additionally, α-tocopherol emerged as a potent inhibitor of AChE and BChE (5.40 & 10.38 mmol galantamine equivalent/g, respectively). Which was further investigated through molecular docking and found to develop key enzymatic interactions in AChE and BChE active sites. Also, primetin showed good anti BChE (11.70 mmol galantamine equivalent/g) and anti-tyrosinase inhibition (90.06 mmol Kojic acid equivalent/g) which was also investigated by molecular docking studies.Highlights Isolation of eight bioactive constituents from Feijoa sellowiana leaves. In vitro assays using different enzymatic drug targets were investigated. In silico study was performed to define compound interactions with target proteins. Feijoa leaf is an excellent source of anti-AChE and antityrosinase bioactives.

Abstract
Histone modifications through acetylation are fundamental for remodelling chromatin and consequently activating gene expression. The imbalance between acetylation and deacetylation activity causes transcriptional dysregulation associated with several disorders. Flavones, small molecules of plant origin, are known to interfere with class I histone deacetylase (HDAC) enzymes and to enhance acetylation, restoring cell homeostasis. To investigate the possible physical interactions of flavones on human HDAC1 and 2, we carried out in silico molecular docking simulations. Our data have revealed how flavone, and other two flavones previously investigated, i.e., apigenin and luteolin, can interact as ligands with HDAC1 and 2 at the active site binding pocket. Regulation of HDAC activity by dietary flavones could have important implications in developing epigenetic therapy to regulate the cell gene expression.

Abstract
This work investigated the efficiency of pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) and supercritical fluid extraction with cosolvent (SFE) in obtaining feijoa leaf extracts with high antioxidant and antibacterial activities. PLE was performed in customized equipment with environmentally friendly solvents, at 40/80 °C, in dynamic and static mode, and SFE was carried out for 210 min at 30 MPa, 55 °C and 15% ethanol-water as cosolvent. PLE extract (80 °C/ethanol-water/dynamic) provided the highest yield, total phenolic content, and antioxidant activities, but it was not effective as antibacterial agent. In contrast, SFE extract exhibited effectiveness against S. aureus, E. coli, and S. typhimurium, with minimum inhibitory concentration values from 14,211 to 3,553 µg.mL-1. Finally, gallic acid, catechin and isoquercetin were the major phenolics identified by liquid chromatography. Our findings revealed that feijoa leaf extracts by PLE and SFE have remarkable bioactivity, presenting a great potential to be used as natural food additives.

Abstract
Naringinase was mainly obtained by microbial fermentation, and mutagenesis was a major way for obtaining excellent mutants. The aim of this study was to screen out a high naringinase yielding mutant to enhance the potential application value of its industrialization and compare the effects of different mutagenic methods on the enzyme activity of the strain. A novel producing naringinase strain, Aspergillus tubingensis MN589840, was isolated from mildewed pomelo peel, later subjected to mutagenesis including UV, ARTP and UV-ARTP. After five rounds iterative mutagenesis, the mutants U1, A6 and UA13 were screened out with 1448·49, 1848·71, 2475·16 U mg-1 enzyme activity, the naringinase productivity raised by 79·08, 123·56 and 206%, respectively. In addition, the naringinase activity of three mutants rose after each round of iterative mutagenesis. These results indicated that the mutagenesis efficiency of UV-ARTP was higher than that of single ARTP, and both are better than UV. In summary, the iterative UV-ARTP mutagenesis is an effective strategy for screening high naringinase-producing strains.

Abstract
Background: and Purpose:
Green nanotechnology is an interesting method for the synthesis of functional
nanoparticles. Because of their wide application, they have set up great attention in recent years.
Objective:
The present research examines the green synthesis of Ag and zero-valent iron nanoparticles (AgNPs,
ZVINPs) by Feijoa sellowiana fruit extract. In this synthesis, no stabilizers or surfactants were applied.
Methods:
Eco-friendly synthesis of Iron and biogenic synthesis of Ag nanoparticles were accomplished by
controlling critical parameters such as concentration, incubation period and temperature. Scanning Electron
Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS),
Fourier-Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray Diffraction analysis (XRD), Dynamic Light Scattering
(DLS) and UV-Vis were applied to characterize NPs. The cytotoxicity of NPs was investigated in two cell lines,
MCF-7 (breast cancer) and AGS (human gastric carcinoma). A high-performance liquid chromatography
(HPLC) analysis was also performed for characterization of phenolic acids in the extract.
Results:
Both NPs displayed powerful anticancer activities against two tumor cell lines with little effect on
BEAS-2B normal cells. Synthesized AgNPs and ZVINPs inhibited the growth of all selected bacteria. Pseudomonas
aeruginosa, Proteus mirabilis, Klebsiella pneumonia, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis,
Acinetobacter baumannii and Escherichia coli have been studied in two stages. We initially examined the
ATCCs followed by clinical strain isolation. Based on the results from resistant strains, we showed that nanoparticles
were superior to conventional antibiotics. DPPH (diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) free radical scavenging assay
and iron chelating activity were used for the determination of antioxidant properties. Results showed a high
antioxidant activity of scavenging free radicals for ZVINPs and powerful iron-chelating activity for AgNPs.
Based on the HPLC data, catechin was the major phenolic compound in the extract.
Conclusion:
Our synthesized nanoparticles displayed potent cytotoxic, antibacterial and antioxidant activities.

Abstract
Background: Feijoa (Acca sellowiana (O. Berg)) was initially introduced as an ornamental plant, but nowadays, it is widely cultivated for the numerous beneficial properties of its edible fruits. Feijoa flowers have been included in the list of edible flowers, but despite this, they are still considered niche products due to consumer skepticism and lack of publicity. Methods: This study evaluated the physicochemical traits, antioxidant system, and ascorbate-glutathione cycle in feijoa flowers at five flowering stages based on the Biologische Bundesanstalt, Bundessortenamt und CHemische Industrie (BBCH) scale. Results: The results showed that the optimal stage to harvest feijoa flower is the F2 stage characterized by high bioactive compounds content. Furthermore, the enzymes involved in oxidative stress and the ascorbate-glutathione cycle showed different trends during the flowering stages. Conclusions: This study provides new evidence to understand the possible role of bioactive compounds and ascorbate-glutathione cycle in the regulation of flower development, defining the optimal stage to harvest flowers.

Abstract
Acca sellowiana is an evergreen plant that produces edible fruit whit high nutritional properties, and also contains clinically relevant bioactive compounds, including polyphenols and essential oils. Numerous biological activities were demonstrated for A. sellowiana fruits: antifungal and antitumoral and anti-oxidant. It was also showed a strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Fruit are generally considered recalcitrant plant tissues for the difficulty to obtain high quality protein due to a low protein content and the presence of interfering substances. For this reason, the objective of the present work was obtain high quantity of protein extract, to determine the location in the fruit of the molecules responsible for the antibacterial activity, separate them according to molecular weight, test their thermo resistance, study the timing of action, isolate the protein fraction having activity and hypothesise a mechanism of action directed against bacterial membranes.

Abstract
The present study determined the chemical composition, bioactive compounds and biological properties of Australian grown feijoa (Acca sellowiana), including whole fruit with peel, fruit peel and pulp, in order to assess the nutritional quality and antimicrobial activity of this emerging subtropical fruit. Polyphenolic compounds and vitamins were determined by UHPLC-PDA-MS/MS, showing that the feijoa fruit not only contains high amounts of antioxidant flavonoids, but is also a valuable source of vitamin C (63 mg/100 g FW (fresh weight)) and pantothenic acid (0.2 mg/100 g FW). Feijoa fruit is also a good source of dietary fibre (6.8 g/100 g FW) and potassium (255 mg/100 g FW). The edible fruit peel possesses significantly (p < 0.05) higher amounts of antioxidant flavonoids and vitamin C than the fruit pulp. This is most likely the reason for the observed strong antimicrobial activity of the peel-extracts against a wide-range of food-spoilage microorganism. The consumption of feijoa fruit can deliver a considerable amount of bioactive compounds such as vitamin C, flavonoids and fibre, and therefore, may contribute to a healthy diet. Furthermore, the potential use of feijoa-peel as a natural food perseverative needs to be investigated in follow-up studies.

Abstract
Plant polyphenols, with broadly known antioxidant properties, represent very effective agents against environmental oxidative stressors, including mercury. This heavy metal irreversibly binds thiol groups, sequestering endogenous antioxidants, such as glutathione. Increased incidence of food-derived mercury is cause for concern, given the many severe downstream effects, ranging from kidney to cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, the possible beneficial properties of Feijoa sellowiana against mercury toxicity were tested using intact human red blood cells (RBC) incubated in the presence of HgCl2. Here, we show that phenol-rich (10-200 µg/mL) extracts from the Feijoa sellowiana fruit potently protect against mercury-induced toxicity and oxidative stress. Peel and pulp extracts are both able to counteract the oxidative stress and thiol decrease induced in RBC by mercury treatment. Nonetheless, the peel extract had a greater protective effect compared to the pulp, although to a different extent for the different markers analyzed, which is at least partially due to the greater proportion and diversity of polyphenols in the peel. Furthermore, Fejioa sellowiana extracts also prevent mercury-induced morphological changes, which are known to enhance the pro-coagulant activity of these cells. These novel findings provide biochemical bases for the pharmacological use of Fejioa sellowiana-based functional foods in preventing and combating mercury-related illnesses.

Abstract
For the first time, the modified supercritical carbon dioxide extraction (MSCE) of biologically active compounds from Feijoa sellowiana leaves was investigated. Total yield (TY) and bioactivity of biocompounds in terms of DPPH• (%DPPHsc) and HO• (%HOsc) radicals scavenging were maximized via multivariate optimization. The optimized conditions were the pressure of 272.34 bar, supercritical carbon dioxide flow rate of 1.58 mL min−1, temperature of 52.48 °C, and dynamic extraction time of 110.62 min. The predicted values of the TY, %DPPHsc, and %HOsc were 81.12 mg g−1, 85.16 %, and 75.66 %, respectively. The chromatographic analysis demonstrated gallic acid as the main biophenolic (136.20 ± 0.16 mg g−1). The scanning electron microscopy images showed dramatic disruption of cells treated with MSCE. A comprehensive comparison was made between current findings and other techniques (conventional and ultrasonic waves assisted extraction). More TY was achieved using conventional method but the bioactivity of MSCE products was considerably better.
