Abstract
POCUS can help identify etiology of acute ischemic stroke and expedite management.
POCUS is a useful initial screening modality for type A aortic dissection.
Type A aortic dissection extending to the carotids is an important cause of stroke.
POCUS is valuable to diagnose the etiology of shock in critically ill patients.
