Abstract
An eco-friendly and metal-free method for the synthesis of tetrahydrodibenzo[b,g][1,8]naphthyridin-1(2H)-ones was established. Quinoline-derived dipolarophiles and cyclic enaminones as starting materials undergo a 1,4-Michael addition/SNAr tandem annulation reaction affording the target products. This approach features transition metal-free conditions, good functional group tolerance and operational simplicity.

Abstract
Chalcone-derived Isoxazole scaffolds remain the central focus because of their greater biological, clinical, and pharmacological properties. The present study reviews the synthesis of various chalcone derived - 5- Membered Isoxazoline and Isoxazole Scaffolds with the available literature until 2021. Abstract

Abstract
Background Most of the known approaches to the synthesis of CF3-containing organic compounds suffer from serious drawbacks. For example the starting materials required for these methods are rather difficult to obtain, or they are fairly toxic and inconvenient to work with and methods for direct fluorination and trifluoromethylation do not always allow the introduction of the CF3-group at the required position of a molecule. Results An efficient and attractive regioselective synthesis of a series of novel pyrazoles containing the trifluromethyl moiety was achieved using Cu(OTf)2/Et3N as an efficient catalytic system under ultrasonic irradiation. Conclusions Cu(OTf)2/Et3N catalyst showed a great advantage over all the investigated catalysts, and the ultrasonic irradiation method offered high yields of pyrazoles in short reaction time compared with classical conditions. gHMBC spectra of the product were used to rationalize the observed regioselectivity.

Abstract
The present study refers to the synthesis of new antidepressant candidates using the indole scaffold. In an attempt to identify potential lead antidepressant agents, a number of indole molecules, incorporating isoxazoline, were synthesized by microwave-assisted synthesis. The antidepressant activity of the synthesized compounds(3a–3n)was evaluated by forced swim test in mice and their locomotor activity was assessed using actophotometry. The present paper showed significant antidepressant activity for all compounds of the series and no significant change in locomotor activity of mice. Compounds3dand3jwere found to be potent molecules of this series, when compared with the reference drugs imipramine and fluoxetine. It clearly demonstrated that replacement of aromatic core by appropriate heterocycles such as pyridine and pyrrole on the 5-(1H-Indol-3-yl)-3-(Phenyl)-4,5-dihydroisoxazoline(3a)would generate more potent derivatives. Thus, these compounds can serve as potential leads for further antidepressant studies.

Abstract
The efficient multicomponent synthesis of thiazolidinones from the reaction of arenealdehydes, mercaptoacetic acid and 2-picolilamine or 2-aminopyridine under ultrasound irradiation are reported. The reaction with 2-aminopyridine needs a Lewis acid catalysis to afford the corresponding 2-aryl-3-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,3-thiazolidin-4-ones. All novel compounds were identified and characterized by (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra. Applying the sonochemical methodology, two series of heterocyclic thiazolidinones were synthesized in good yields after short reaction times.
