Abstract
Objective Identify the collaborations between authors, countries, and institutions, respectively, and explore the hot issues and prospects for research on hospital medication management. Materials and Methods Publications on hospital medication management were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. Bibliometric analyses were performed using CiteSpace 6.1.R3, HistCite 2.1, and VOSviewer 1.6.16. The network maps were created between authors, countries institutions, and keywords. Results A total of 18,723 articles related to hospital medication management studies were identified. Rapid growth in the number of publications since 2017. The high papers were published in AM J HEALTH-SYST PH, while JAMA-J AM MED ASSOC was the most co-cited journal. Manias E and WHO ranked first in the author and cited author. There were active collaborations among the top authors. Bates DW was the key author in this field. The authors have active collaborations in adverse drug events, acute coronary syndrome, in-hospital major bleeding, and so on. The US was the leading contributor in this field. The UK, Australia, and China are also very active. Active cooperation between countries and between institutions was observed. The main hot topics included matters related to outcome indicators, hospital pharmacy service behaviors, and medication use in pain management. More recent keywords focus on chronic disease medication management and clinical medication management. Conclusion Hospital medication management studies have significantly increased after 2017. There was active cooperation between authors, countries, and institutions. The application of hospital medication management in the emergency department and the relationship between medication management and medication adherence are current research hotspots. In addition, with the continuous progress of society, chronic diseases have become an important factor affecting people's health, and medication management is becoming more and more subdivided, so the direction of chronic disease medication management as well as precise medication may become the development direction of future research.

Abstract
Background Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a brain function injury caused by external mechanical injury. Primary and secondary injuries cause neurological deficits that mature brain tissue cannot repair itself. Stem cells can self-renewal and differentiate, the research of stem cells in the pathogenesis and treatment of TBI has made significant progress in recent years. However, numerous articles must be summarized to analyze hot spots and predict trends. This study aims to provide a panorama of knowledge and research hotspots through bibliometrics. Method We searched in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database to identify articles pertaining to TBI and stem cells published between 2000 and 2022. Visualization knowledge maps, including co-authorship, co-citation, and co-occurrence analysis were generated by VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and the R package "bibliometrix." Results We retrieved a total of 459 articles from 45 countries. The United States and China contributed the majority of publications. The number of publications related to TBI and stem cells is increasing yearly. Tianjin Medical University was the most prolific institution, and Professor Charles S. Cox, Jr. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston was the most influential author. The Journal of Neurotrauma has published the most research articles on TBI and stem cells. Based on the burst references, "immunomodulation," "TBI," and "cellular therapy" have been regarded as research hotspots in the field. The keywords co-occurrence analysis revealed that "exosomes," "neuroinflammation," and "microglia" were essential research directions in the future. Conclusion Research on TBI and stem cells has shown a rapid growth trend in recent years. Existing studies mainly focus on the activation mechanism of endogenous neural stem cells and how to make exogenous stem cell therapy more effective. The combination with bioengineering technology is the trend in this field. Topics related to exosomes and immune regulation may be the future focus of TBI and stem cell research.

Abstract
We review the neurobiology of Functional Neurological Disorders (FND), i.e., neurological disorders not explained by currently identifiable histopathological processes, in order to focus on those characterised by impaired awareness (functionally impaired awareness disorders, FIAD), and especially, on the paradigmatic case of Resignation Syndrome (RS). We thus provide an improved more integrated theory of FIAD, able to guide both research priorities and the diagnostic formulation of FIAD. We systematically address the diverse spectrum of clinical presentations of FND with impaired awareness, and offer a new framework for understanding FIAD. We find that unraveling the historical development of neurobiological theory of FIAD is of paramount importance for its current understanding. Then, we integrate contemporary clinical material in order to contextualise the neurobiology of FIAD within social, cultural, and psychological perspectives. We thus review neuro-computational insights in FND in general, to arrive at a more coherent account of FIAD. FIAD may be based on maladaptive predictive coding, shaped by stress, attention, uncertainty, and, ultimately, neurally encoded beliefs and their updates. We also critically appraise arguments in support of and against such Bayesian models. Finally, we discuss implications of our theoretical account and provide pointers towards an improved clinical diagnostic formulation of FIAD. We suggest directions for future research towards a more unified theory on which future interventions and management strategies could be based, as effective treatments and clinical trial evidence remain limited.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is one of the devastating complications of diabetes. It has high mortality and disability rates. The number of research articles on DFUs has increased. This study was designed to explore the global trends and research hotspots of DFUs to benefit researchers in shaping future research directions. METHODS Literatures relating to DFU from 2004 to 2020 were retrieved from the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-expanded) of Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). The current status of DFU research (including publications, journals, the performances of relevant countries, institutions, and authors and the research trends and hotspots of DFU) was analyzed with the WoSCC. VOSviewer v1.6.10.0 was utilised for cocitation, coauthorship, cooccurrence analyses, and bibliographic coupling. RESULTS A total of 5869 publications on DFUs were retrieved. We performed a longitudinal review of publications over 17 years: 4500 articles and 865 review articles on DFUs published from 2004 to 2020 were analyzed. The total citation was 107,296. The USA (n = 1866), England (n = 606), and China (n = 599) were the three largest contributors. The University of Washington had the greatest number of publications within this time period (n = 103), and it had the most cooperative units and was in the core position in all research institutions, followed by the University of Manchester (n = 94) and the University of Miami (n = 92). Armstrong DG (91/1.69%) and Lavery LA (55/1.19%) should be regarded as scholars who have made outstanding contributions. The top journal with the greatest total link strength was Diabetes Care. Analysis showed that the global research hotspots of DFU focused on lower limb amputation, diabetic foot infection, and treatment and management of DFU. Studies on osteomyelitis, wound therapy and management, multidisciplinary integration and mechanism of DFUs, and its related diseases are the research fronts that should be closely watched in the future. CONCLUSIONS This study revealed the current research status and hotspots in the domain of DFU over the past 17 years, which can help researchers to further pinpoint potential perspectives on hot topics and research frontiers.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to quantitatively, qualitatively, and visually analyze, describe, evaluate, and identify trends of the published scholarly documents on physical activity/exercise in epilepsy. METHODS Scopus database was systematically searched using the keywords relevant to "exercise" and "epilepsy". The Bibliometrix R-Tool was used to quantify, analyze, visualize, and describe the data set of the scholarly documents identified through the systematic search. Data collected from the retrieved documents were synthesized qualitatively. RESULTS Search of the database resulted in 182 scholarly documents reporting on physical activity/exercise in epilepsy. The scholarly documents were obtained from 93 indexed sources, authored by 516 researchers, indexed by 1311 keywords, and cited 4648 references. Epilepsy and Behavior was the fastest growing source for documents on physical exercise in epilepsy and the Universidade Federal De So Paulo in Brazil was the most productive institution in the field. Thematic analysis showed that epilepsy and physical exercise were basic themes, quality of life and depression were motor themes, and yoga was a niche theme. Quality of life and sport were trendy topics after the year 2015. A total of 14 barriers and 2 promoters of physical activity/exercise were qualitatively synthesized. CONCLUSION Findings of this analysis might be helpful to librarians, institutions, and professionals interested in the field of physical activity/exercise in epilepsy. Researchers might be informed of collaboration opportunities, trendy topics, and emerging themes in the field.

Abstract
Background There is an unmet need to assess research productivity from southeast Asia (SEA) regarding primary central nervous system (CNS) tumors. The country’s economy, landscape of neurology practice, and disease burden are hypothesized to correlate with scientific output. This study aimed to objectively measure the impact of published studies on primary brain tumors in SEA and to assess for correlation with socioeconomic determinants and burden of disease. Methods We systematically searched electronic databases for relevant articles from SEA on primary CNS tumor until July 31, 2020. Bibliometric indices were reported and subjected to correlational analysis with population size, gross domestic product (GDP) per capita, percentage (%) GDP for research and development (R&D), total number of neurologists, disease incidence, deaths, and disability-adjusted life years. Results A total of 549 articles were included, consisting primarily of case reports (n=187, 34.06%) and discussed gliomas (n=195, 35.52%). Singapore published the most number of the articles (n=246, 44.8%). Statistical analysis showed a positive correlation between %GDP for R&D and total publication. Additionally, negative relationships were noted between burden of disease and total neurologist with most bibliometric indices. However, GDP per capita was not correlated with measures for research productivity. Conclusion The low impact of scientific output on primary CNS tumors in SEA does not address the growing epidemiology and burden of this disease. An increase in the GDP growth and financial and manpower investment to R&D may significantly improve research productivity in SEA.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Many patients with brain tumours exhibit mild to severe (neuro)cognitive impairments at some point during the course of the disease. Social cognition, as an instance of higher-order cognitive functioning, specifically enables initiation and maintenance of appropriate social interactions. For individuals being confronted with the diagnosis of a brain tumour, impairment of social function represents an additional burden, since those patients deeply depend on support and empathy provided by family, friends and caregivers. METHODS The present study explores the scientific landscape on (socio)cognitive functioning in brain tumour patients by conducting a comprehensive bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. The Web of Science Core Collection database was examined to identify relevant documents published between 1945 and 2019. RESULTS A total of 664 English titles on (socio)cognitive functions in patients with brain tumours was retrieved. Automated textual analysis revealed that the data available so far focus on three major topics in brain tumour patients: cognitive functions in general and in paediatric cases, as well as psychological factors and their influence on quality of life. The focus of research has gradually moved from clinical studies with cognitive functions as one of the outcome measures to investigations of interactions between cognitive functions and psychological constructs such as anxiety, depression or fatigue. Medical, neurological and neuropsychological journals, in particular neuro-oncological journals published most of the relevant articles authored by a relatively small network of well interconnected researchers in the field. CONCLUSION The bibliometric analysis highlights the necessity of more research on social cognition in brain tumour patients.

Abstract
Background The use of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in treatment of chronic degenerative pathologies of the knee has boasted of an experience of 50 years. The aim of this bibliometric and visualized study is to comprehensively examine the current status and global trends of TKA research. Methods Publications related to TKA research from 2010 to 2019 were retrieved from Web of Science (WoS) and Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCIE) database and then analyzed through bibliometric methodology. As for the visualized study, the software VOS viewer was utilized for bibliographic coupling, coauthorship, cocitation, and co-occurrence analysis, along with further simulation of publication trends in this field. Results A total of 8631 publications were eventually included. The number of publications tends to increase annually worldwide. The USA was the pioneer which has made tremendous contributions, with the most publications and citations, as well as the highest H-index. The Journal of Arthroplasty has published the most papers, while Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research has the highest citation frequency. The Hospital for Special Surgery has made the greatest contribution when total publication number and coauthorship were taken together. Studies could be divided into five clusters: “alignment study”, “revision TKA study”, “complication study”, “rehabilitation study”, and “perioperative management study”, which have a trend of balanced development in this field. Conclusions There will be an increasing number of publications on TKA research according to the current global trends, and the USA maintained the leadership in this area. Additionally, a trend of balanced development may exist in the field of TKA research, accompanied with inherent changes of hotspots in each cluster.

Abstract
BACKGROUND In recent years, metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (MCRPC) and studies related to MCRPC have drawn global attention. The main objective of this bibliometric study was to provide an overview of MCRPC, explore clusters and trends in research and investigate the future direction of MCRPC research. METHODS A total of 4089 publications published between 1979 and 2018 were retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database. Different aspects of MCRPC research, including the countries/territories, institutions, journals, authors, research areas, funding agencies and author keywords, were analyzed. RESULTS The number of annual MCRPC publications increased rapidly after 2010. American researchers played a vital role in this increase, as they published the most publications. The most productive institution was Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. De Bono, JS (the United Kingdom [UK]) and Scher, HI (the United States of America [USA]) were the two most productive authors. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded the largest number of published papers. Analyses of keywords suggested that therapies (abiraterone, enzalutamide, etc.) would attract global attention after US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval. CONCLUSIONS Developed countries, especially the USA, were the leading nations for MCRPC research because of their abundant funding and frequent international collaborations. Therapy was one of the most vital aspects of MCRPC research. Therapies targeting DNA repair or the androgen receptor (AR) signing pathway and new therapies especially prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-based radioligand therapy (RLT) would be the next focus of MCRPC research.

Abstract
PURPOSE The aim of the current study was to depict a comprehensive geographical picture of the existing literature on psychogenic nonepileptic seizures (PNES) and to highlight the needs for future works. METHODS We searched the electronic database PubMed on June 8, 2019 for articles that included any of the related key words to analyze all the relevant literature. We applied the advance search; field was adjusted to the title and dates were adjusted to 01/01/2000 until 06/08/2019. We selected the relevant articles. Location of the study was determined according to the affiliation(s) of the authors. RESULTS 1017 papers were included. Interest in research and publication on PNES has risen over the past two decades. Six hundred and nine full length research original papers and 199 review articles were published on PubMed from 2000 until 2019. Continent-wise, most articles were from North America and Europe (41.1% of the whole publications from Europe and 40.8% from North America; 833 papers totally), followed by Asia (92 papers), Oceania (36 papers) and South America (31 publications), while only 0.9% of the papers (9 papers) were from Africa. CONCLUSION A global campaign is necessary to inform and educate the world on the issue of PNES and its significance. While PNES merit further epidemiological investigations, there is a significant disparity with regard to the location of the studies. There is a huge need to invest more on studies on various aspects of PNES in many places in the world, including African nations, India, and China.

Abstract
Dissociative convulsions, a prominent form of dissociative (conversion) disorder formerly known as hysteria, are a common and elusive differential diagnosis from epilepsy. However, the treatment of such patients is always challenging and frustrating due to poor response to the routinely used interventions in most situations. Here, we present a case with dissociative convulsions in order to catch the eye of the clinicians and researchers on the recognition of clinical manifestation and exploration of therapeutic strategies.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To identify the cooperation of authors, countries, and institutions and explore the hot topics and future prospects regarding programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1) research. MATERIALS AND METHODS Publications on PD-1 and PD-L1 research were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. Bibliometric analyses were performed using VOSviewer 1.6.9, HistCite 2.1, and CiteSpace V software. Network maps were generated to evaluate the collaborations between different authors, countries, and institutions. RESULTS A total of 7359 articles related to PD-1 and PD-L1 research in the field of cancer were identified. We observed rapid growth in the number of publications since 2014. Oncoimmunology (326, 4.43%) had the highest number of publications, while N Engl J Med (18,828 co-citations, 6.30%) was the most co-cited journal. Hodi FS and Wolchok JD were key researchers. There were active collaborations among the top authors. The USA was the leading contributor in this field with 3496 publications. Active cooperations between countries and between institutions were observed. The main hot topics included matters related to the efficacy and prognosis of various tumors after treatment with PD-1 and/or PD-L1 inhibitors, as well as the activation or expression of important immunological factors targeted at tumors. CONCLUSION PD-1 and PD-L1 studies have significantly increased after 2014. The USA contributed the most publications. There were active cooperations between authors, countries, and institutions. Further research should expand and develop new topics such as those likely to boost therapeutic strategies for cancer.
