Abstract
An N-heterocyclic stannylene :Sn(NONAd) (NONAd = [O(SiMe2NAd)2]2-, Ad = 1-adamantyl), reacts rapidly with 2,4,6-tricyclohexylphenyl azide (TCHP)N3, affording a stannaimine, (NONAd)SnN(TCHP). Solutions of (NONAd)SnN(TCHP) react immediately with carbon dioxide (CO2) to give a [2+2]-cycloaddition product, which, upon heating, subsequently engages in a metathesis process to give [Sn(NONAd)(μ-O)]2 and the bulky isocyanate, (TCHP)NCO.

Abstract
The topic of heavier main group compounds possessing multiple bonds is the subject of momentous interest in modern organometallic chemistry. Importantly, there is an excitement involving the discovery of unprecedented compounds with unique bonding modes. The research in this area is still expanding, particularly the reactivity aspects of these compounds. This article aims to describe the overall developments reported on the stable derivatives of silicon and germanium involved in multiple bond formation with other group 13, and heavier groups 14, 15, and 16 elements. The synthetic strategies, structural features, and their reactivity towards different nucleophiles, unsaturated organic substrates, and in small molecule activation are discussed. Further, their physical and chemical properties are described based on their spectroscopic and theoretical studies.

Abstract
The reactivity of germanium phosphanido complexes with elemental chalcogens is reported. Addition of sulfur to [(BDI)GePCy2] (BDI = CH{(CH3)CN-2,6-iPr2C6H3}2) results in oxidation at germanium to form germanium(IV) sulfide [(BDI)Ge(S)PCy2] and oxidation at both germanium and phosphorus to form germanium(IV) sulfide dicylohexylphosphinodithioate complex [(BDI)Ge(S)SP(S)Cy2], whereas addition of tellurium to [(BDI)GePCy2] only gives the chalcogen inserted product, [(BDI)GeTePCy2]. This reactivity is different from that observed between [(BDI)GePCy2] and selenium. Addition of selenium to the diphenylphosphanido germanium complex, [(BDI)GePPh2], results in insertion of selenium into the Ge-P bond to form [(BDI)GeSePCy2] as well as the oxidation at phosphorus to give [(BDI)GeSeP(Se)Ph2]. In contrast, addition of selenium to the bis(trimethylsilyl)phosphanido germanium complex, [(BDI)GeP(SiMe3)2], yields the germanium(IV) selenide [(BDI)Ge(Se)P(SiMe3)2].

Abstract
The reaction of bis(germavinylidene) [(Me3SiN=PPh2)2C=Ge-->Ge=C(PPh2=NSiMe3)2] (1) with CpMn(CO)2(THF) (Cp = eta5-C5H5) in THF afforded [(Me3SiN=PPh2)2C=Ge-->Mn(CO)2Cp] (2). Similar reaction of 1 with (cod)RhCl (cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) in THF gave [(Me3SiN=NPPh2)2{(cod)Rh}C-GeCl] (3). The results suggested that reactive germavinylidene may exist in solution. The X-ray structures of 2 and 3 have been determined.
