Abstract
In the cation of the title compound, [Co(C(2)H(8)N(2))(3)][In(C(2)O(4))(3)(H(2)O)], the Co(III) atom is coordinated by six N atoms from three ethyl-enediamine mol-ecules. The Co(III)-N bond lengths lie in the range 1.956 (4)-1.986 (4) Å. In the anion, the In(III) atom is seven-coordinated by six O atoms from three oxalate ligands and by a water mol-ecule. The cations and anions are linked by extensive O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a supermolecular network.

Abstract
In the cation of the title compound, [Co(C(2)H(8)N(2))(3)][In(C(2)O(4))(2)(CHO(2))(2)]·2H(2)O, the Co-N bond lengths lie in the range 1.960 (5)-1.997 (5) Å. In the anion, the In(III) atom is coordin-ated by four O atoms from two oxalato ligands and two O atoms from two formato ligands in a distorted octa-hedral geometry. Inter-molecular O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds form an extensive hydrogen-bonding network, which link the cations, anions and water mol-ecules into three-dimensional structure.

Abstract
Three new chloride-rich zincophosphates including two zero-dimensional (0D) clusters [dl-Co(en)3]2[Zn4(H2PO4)2(HPO4)2Cl8] (denoted ZnPO-CJ33) and [d-Co(en)3]2[Zn4(H2PO4)2(HPO4)2Cl8] (denoted ZnPO-CJ34), and one-dimensional (1D) zincophosphate chain [dl-Co(en)3][Zn2(H2PO4)(HPO4)2Cl2] (denoted ZnPO-CJ35) have been solvothermally prepared. ZnPO-CJ33 and ZnPO-CJ34 possess the same cluster structure as the macroanionic [Zn4H6P4O16Cl8]6- unit formed by alternation of ZnOCl3/ZnO3Cl and HPO4/H2PO4 tetrahedra but differ in the countercations. The racemic [dl-Co(en)3]3+ cations are located among the clusters of ZnPO-CJ33, whereas chiral [d-Co(en)3]3+ cations are located among the clusters of ZnPO-CJ34. ZnPO-CJ34 templated by the optically pure chiral [d-Co(en)3]3+ cations is the first chiral monomeric zincophosphate. ZnPO-CJ35 templated by the racemic [dl-Co(en)3]3+ cations possesses a 1D infinite chain structure formed by the alternation of ZnO3Cl and HPO4/H2PO4 tetrahedra. The 1D chain structure of ZnPO-CJ35 can also be viewed as generated from the condensation of 0D clusters of ZnPO-CJ33, with the terminal Cl ions replaced by HPO4 groups. Experimentally, the structural transformation from ZnPO-CJ33 to ZnPO-CJ35 has been investigated.

Abstract
A novel gallium phosphate, Ga(2,2'-bipy)(HPO(4))(H(2)PO(4)) (denoted FJ-12; FJ = Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter), which is the first example of layered inorganic-organic hybrid gallium phosphate with neutral framework, has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c (No. 14), with a = 10.9443(9), b = 15.8253(13), and c = 8.4201(7) A, beta = 108.898(2) degrees, V = 1379.7(2) A(3), and Z = 4. The structure consists of HPO(4) and H(2)PO(4) tetrahedra and unusual GaO(4)N(2) octahedra which are linked through their vertexes forming an undulated sheetlike structure with 4.12-net. The adjacent layers are stably packed together and exhibit interesting 3-D supramolecular arrays pi-pi interactions of the 2,2'-bipy groups.

Abstract
A 0D vanadium borophosphate [Co(en)(3)](2)[V(3)P(3)BO(19)][H(2)PO(4)].4H(2)O (1) and two 1D vanadium oxides [Co(en)(3)][V(3)O(9)].H(2)O (2) and [Co(dien)(2)][V(3)O(9)].H(2)O (3) have been synthesized hydrothermally from the reaction mixture of V(2)O(5)-H(3)PO(4)-H(3)BO(3)-CoCl(2)-R-H(2)O at 110 degrees C (R: en or dien). The complex cations Co(en)(3)(3+) and Co(dien)(2)(3+) are cooperatively organized in the reaction medium to play a structure-directing role in the formation of the inorganic clusters and chains. The structures are determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and further characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, ICP, and TG analyses. The structure of 1 contains isolated [V(3)P(3)BO(19)](5)(-) cluster anions, H(2)PO(4)(-) anions, racemic Co(en)(3)(3+) cations, and H(2)O molecules, which form a complex H-bond network. 2 and 3 both contain chains of corner-sharing VO(4) tetrahedra running along the 2(1) screw axis. The complex cations located in the interchain region interact with the chains through H-bonds. 2 is crystallized in an enantiomorphic space group and only one enantiomer of Co(en)(3)(3+) is involved in the structure. Crystal data: 1, monoclinic, C2/c, a = 32.8492(14) A, b = 11.9601(3) A, c = 22.6001(7) A, beta = 108.9630(8) degrees, Z = 8; 2, orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 8.1587(16) A, b = 12.675(3) A, c = 18.046(4) A, Z = 4; 3, monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 16.1663(10) A, b = 8.7028(3) A, c = 13.9773(5) A, beta = 103.1340(18) degrees, Z = 4.

Abstract
The first chainlike germanate, [Ge(7)O(13)(OH)(2)F(3)](3)(-).Cl(-).2[Ni(dien)(2)](2+), has been solvothermally synthesized by using Ni(dien)(2)(2+) cations as the template and characterized by IR, SEM, TGA, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (EDXA), elemental analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction, respectively. This compound crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2/nwith a = 8.8904(2) A, b = 17.4374(3) A, c = 13.2110(3) A, beta = 101.352(1) degrees, V = 2007.97(7) A(3), and Z = 2. Interestingly, the structure contains two types of chiral mer-[Ni(dien)(2)](2+) cations and two types of chiral chains, one left-handed and the other right-handed, which lead to a racemic compound. The orderly separation of achiral s-fac-[Ni(dien)(2)](2+) and chiral mer-[Ni(dien)(2)](2+) isomers was found in the structure. The structure is stabilized by N-H.O(F, Cl) hydrogen bonds.
