Abstract
A 44-year-old woman presented to the emergency department status post incidental discovery of a large lingual mass identified during workup of a known intracranial neoplasm. The patient presented with a 4-month history of progressive altered mental status, somnolence, aphasia, and dysphagia; symptomology was attributed to the suprasellar tumor. Metastatic disease to the oral cavity was the primary differential diagnosis. Imaging demonstrated a 5.5 × 5.5 cm posterior tongue mass with near complete pharynx obstruction. Prompt debulking and pathology workup occurred. On postoperative day 1, the patient experienced complete resolution of all symptoms. Given rapid improvement, neurological decline was ultimately attributed not to the suprasellar mass but instead as being secondary to profound obstructive sleep apnea and ensuing sleep deprivation caused by the lingual tumor. This case describes the rare finding of a massive lingual superficial angiomyxoma with a synchronous cerebral neoplasm in which the latter functioned as a diagnostic distraction.

Abstract
Superficial angiomyxoma (SAM) is a rare, benign, and slow-growing soft tissue tumor with a tendency for frequent local recurrence. Most SAMs are solitary and sporadic. However, multiple SAMs, particularly on the external ear or eyelids, may be the initial or only sign of the Carney complex, an autosomal dominant syndrome that impacts various organs, including the heart, breasts, and skin, and is linked to endocrine hyperactivity. To ensure an accurate diagnosis, a comprehensive patient interview, physical examination, and laboratory tests, including endocrine-specific markers and imaging studies, are essential. Due to the high risk of recurrence, especially in large, encapsulated lesions, complete surgical excision is the preferred treatment approach. We present a case of a 24-year-old female with SAM on the shoulder, review the relevant literature, and discuss the pathogenesis and appropriate management of such cases.

Abstract
Superficial angiomyxoma (SA) is a benign tumor characterized by extensive myxoid stroma, numerous small blood vessels, sparse spindle-shaped fibroblastic cells, and inflammatory cell infiltrate. Oral cavity SA is extremely rare and typically presents as a painless, slow growth. We experienced SA in the mandibular gingiva that is rapidly growing. The patient was a 15-year-old female whose chief complaint was a painless mass in the lingual gingiva of the mandible that increased in size over 1 month. An excisional biopsy was performed under local anesthesia. According to histopathological examination, the mass was diagnosed as SA. The patient experienced recurrence twice because of positive margins. The second recurrent lesion, including periosteum, was resected, and no recurrence has been observed for 1 year. The cause of rapid growth was attributed to edematous changes due to tongue habit or traumatic stimuli. As this case exhibited repeated local recurrence, careful follow-up is required.

Abstract
Angiomyxomas are a group of rare myxoid benign mesenchymal tumors prone to local recurrences. Two types of angiomyxomas are well recognized in the literature: superficial and aggressive angiomyxoma. Aggressive angiomyxomas are relatively uncommon, poorly circumscribed, locally infiltrative myofibroblastic tumors with a specific predilection for the perineal regions and exceedingly rare in the head and neck region. To the best of our knowledge, we report the first case of a gigantic aggressive angiomyxoma occurring in both the maxilla and mandible in a 30-year-old male patient. Clinicians should carefully evaluate the clinical, radiological and histological data to derive the correct diagnosis of this myxoid intraoral soft-tissue neoplasm.

Abstract
Angiomyxomas are benign, slow-growing mesenchymal tumors. Intraoral angiomyxoma are extremely rare with very few reported cases in the existing literature. The primary line of management is surgical resection with a long-term follow-up, due to their tendency to recur. Here, we report a rare case of angiomyxoma of the upper alveolus eroding the hard palate and extending into the maxillary antrum, in a middle-aged male. Transoral robotic surgery (TORS) was performed due to the nature of the tumor (bulky benign lesion with bony erosion), inaccessibility and poor visualization of the superior extent of the tumor. The three-dimensional endoscopic camera and flexible robotic arms allowed easy dissection around the tumor margins and en bloc resection of the tumor. The patient had a smooth recovery with the best possible functional outcome. This is the first case of robot-assisted excision of a large benign oral tumor with superior extension through erosion of the palate and can be included as an extended indication of TORS.

Abstract
Myxomas have a common histologic appearance of myxoid ground substance and are classified in group of soft tissue tumors. According to literature myxomas occurring in every decade of life have been reported. Very often intraoral soft tissue myxoma can be misinterpreted as malignant and are difficult to differentiate from the other tumours with myxoid stroma. Of the different variants of soft tissue myxoma, intraoral is extremely rare, slow growing, benign mesenchymal tumour. We report a case of a 22-year-old male who presented with swelling in the right cheek and mass in the right buccal mucosa that appeared gradually over two year. No history of pain over the lesion or bleeding on touch. On intraoral examination a lesion measuring 3 X 3 cm was seen in the right buccal mucosa. Biopsy of the lesion revealed oral soft tissue myxoma. Wide excision with clinically clear margins was done under general anaesthesia. Histopathological report revealed the diagnosis as to be oral soft tissue myxoma. A case of oral soft tissue myxoma is presented for its rarity and for differential diagnosis of localized oral cavity lesions.

Abstract

Abstract
Angiomyxomas are relatively a group of uncommon myxoid mesenchymal tumors characterized by frequent local recurrences and show lack of malignant potential. Basically three types of angiomyxomas are recognized superficial, aggressive, and angiomyofibroblastoma. Though the angiomyxomas are rarely reported in the head and neck region, the paper shows reported cases intraorally in the buccal mucosa and floor of the mouth. Here, the authors report a rare case of angiomyxoma presenting as a growth in the upper posterior alveolar mucosa.

Abstract
Superficial angiomyxoma is an unusual benign myxoid tumor of the trunk, head and neck, extremities, and genitalia. We report the third case of intraoral superficial angiomyxoma, which occurred within the buccal mucosa of a 37-year-old woman. The symptomless slow-growing mass was present for 2 years. The lobulated, paucicellular myxoid tumor showed prominent vascularity, stromal inflammation, including neutrophils, and immunopositivity for CD34, vimentin, and muscle-specific actin. Cure is effected by localized excision, with follow-up, owing to the high recurrence rate of the cutaneous tumors, which has not been substantiated for the few reported intraoral cases. Superficial angiomyxoma does indeed occur intraorally and should be included in the differential diagnosis of myxoid intraoral soft tissue neoplasms.
