Abstract
We report a unique case of a 6-year-old male child with aborted sudden cardiac death due to ventricular fibrillation. A rare anomalous aortic origin of the right coronary artery was detected and supposed to be the cause of the malignant arrhythmia. Clinical exome sequencing did not reveal any pathogenic variant related to channelopathies nor other known heart-related genes. The patient underwent cardiac surgery and a cardiac defibrillator was implanted for secondary prevention.

Abstract
We report a rare case of anomalous aortic origin of the right coronary artery from the posterior/non-coronary sinus of Valsalva in a 9-year-old male diagnosed during the workup of premature ventricular contractions. The finding was initially noted on transthoracic echocardiogram and further confirmed with computed tomography. The anomalous coronary artery shows a wide ostium with no intramural or interarterial course.

Abstract
Certain coronary anomalies have been associated with sudden cardiac death. Anomalous origin of the right coronary artery (RCA) from the posterior non-coronary aortic cusp is exceedingly rare. Through multimodality imaging, we present a young female with an anomalous RCA arising from the non-coronary cusp. Given the unobstructed origin and benign course, no intervention was recommended.
