Abstract
The huge polyoxometalate, N a 48 [ H x M o 256 V I M o 112 V O 1032 ( H 2 O ) 240 ( SO 4 ) 48 ] ({Mo368}), which can be prepared by a facile solution process and can be applied in lithium-ion storage applications as the anode. The large and open hollow nanostructure is promising to store a larger number of lithium ions and expedite the diffusion of lithium ions. A single {Mo368} nanocluster can transfer 624 electrons, referred to as a "huge electron sponge". Pure {Mo368} without any support materials exhibits very high capacities of 964 mA h g-1 with hardly any decay for 100 cycles at 0.1 A g-1 and still maintains 761 mA h g-1 after 180 cycles at 0.5 A g-1, indicating great cycling stability. The {Mo368} anode provides excellent rate performance and reversibility during the lithiation/delithiation processes, which are contributed by both the diffusion-controlled process and the capacitive process. The capacitive contribution can reach 71.7% at a scan rate of 2 mV s-1. The high DLi+ value measured by GITT confirms the fast reaction kinetics of the {Mo368} electrode. The {Mo368}//NCM111-A full cell is practically applied to light LED lamps. These investigations indicate that {Mo368} nanoclusters are advanced energy storage materials with high capacities, fast charge transfer, and low-cost mass production for lithium-ion storage. Moreover, {Mo368} should be considered a clean energy material because there is no production of environmental pollution during the charge/discharge processes.

Abstract
Transition metal oxide (TMO) anode materials in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) usually suffer from serious volume expansion leading to the pulverization of structures, further giving rise to lower specific capacity and worse cycling stability. Herein, by introducing polyoxometalate (POM) clusters into TMOs and precisely controlling the amount of POMs, the MnZnCuOx -phosphomolybdic acid hybrid sub-1 nm nanosheets (MZC-PMA HSNSs) anode is successfully fabricated, where the special electron rich structure of POMs is conducive to accelerating the migration of lithium ions on the anode to obtain higher specific capacity, and the non-covalent interactions between POMs and TMOs make the HSNSs possess excellent structural and chemical stability, thus exhibiting outstanding electrochemical performance in LIBs, achieving a high reversible capacity (1157 mAh g-1 at 100 mA g-1 ) and an admirable long-term cycling stability at low and high current densities.

Abstract
An effective combination of polyoxometalates (POMs) and porous materials is a feasible method to solve the homogeneity of POMs and synthesize extremely stable POM-based catalysts. Herein, by using simple mechanochemical synthesis, we fabricated a series of composites constructed by Keggin-POMs, p-phenylenediamine (Pa-1), and 1,3,5-triformylphloroglucinol (Tp), which in situ form a stable covalent organic framework (Keggin-POMs@TpPa-1). Notably, the different Keggin-POMs@TpPa-1 composites showed different catalytic effects on thioether oxidation reaction under mild conditions. From the comparison, the catalytic effect of PW12@TpPa-1 with its added amount of 27% H3PW12O40 is superior to that of other composites, whose catalytic efficiency can reach 99%. This study provides some inspiration for designing diverse POM-modified catalysts with outstanding stability and efficiency using COFs as supports.

Abstract
Using a one-pot assembly method, two novel copper-containing Keggin-type polyoxometalates (POMs)-based metal-organic complexes, that is, [CuII2(pbba)2NO3-(H2O)2(PW12O40)]·3H2O [PW12-Cu-pbba, H2pbba = 1,1'-(1,4-phenylene-bis(methylene))-bis(pyridine-3-carboxylic acid)] and [CuII2(pbba)2(H2O)2(GeW12O40)]·3H2O (GeW12-Cu-pbba), were successfully synthesized. These two complexes are isostructural, differing only in their POM components. They are applicable as heterogeneous catalysts for the C-H bond oxidation of benzylic compounds and olefin epoxidation under mild conditions, with oxygen as the oxidant and isobutyraldehyde as the coreductant. The catalytic activity of PW12-Cu-pbba was superior to that of GeW12-Cu-pbba. Under the optimal conditions, PW12-Cu-pbba catalyzed the oxidation of indane into 1-indanone with an 81% yield and >99% selectivity within 48 h. As heterogeneous catalysts, both complexes demonstrated excellent recoverability and high stability and could be stably reused five times without significant activity loss.

Abstract
The introduction of Keggin-type POMs of [PMo12O40]3- or [SiW12O40]4- as counteranions into the FeIII-MII cyanometalate system afforded three chain complexes: [(Tp*)Fe(CN)3Ni(DMF)4]2{[(Tp*)Fe(CN)3Ni(DMF)3(H2O)]2Ni(DMF)4}[PMo12O40]2·14DMF (1, Tp*= hydridotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate) and {[(Tp*)Fe(CN)3M(DMF)3(H2O)]2M(DMF)4}[SiW12O40]·3DMF (2, M = NiII; 3, M = CoII). Complex 1 contains both discrete cationic [Fe2Ni2]2+ squares and less-studied {Fe2Ni3}n pearl chains, namely 3,2-chains, while 2 and 3 consist of pure 3,2-chains due to the replacement of [PMo12O40]3- with [SiW12O40]4- bearing one more negative charge. Magnetic studies revealed that all of the complexes exhibit single-chain-magnet (SCM) behaviors with the effective thermal barriers of Δτ1/kB = 61.6 K (infinite regime) and Δτ2/kB = 36.5 K (finite regime) for 1, Δτ/kB = 46.9 K for 2 (finite), and Δτ/kB = 30.6 K for 3 (finite). The POM moieties may play a pivotal role for the realization of this promising archetype of favoring SCM property: (1) the highly negatively charged POMs may facilitate the formation of the uncommon highly positive "pearl chain"; (2) the nanosized POMs necessarily led to the good isolation of the chains in the title complexes, and (3) the employment of POMs with different charges may regulate the resultant complexes in both structure and magnetism.

Abstract
Herein, in the presence of three structure-directing agents (SDAs), a family of imidazole-functionalized resorcin[4]arene-based coordination polymers (CPs), [Zn(TIC4R)(HCOO)]·HCOO·0.5DMF·1.5H2O (1), [Zn(TIC4R)(CN)]·HCOO·DMF·2.5H2O (2), and [Zn(TIC4R)(H2O)]·2HCOO·2H2O (3), were assembled under solvothermal conditions [TIC4R = tetra(imidazole) resorcin[4]arene]. 1 exhibits a double-layer structure with rectangle windows, and 2 and 3 display monolayer structures. The layers of CPs 2 and 3 are slides with different offsets along the a-axis. In addition, three CPs were used as catalysts to catalyze Knoevenagel condensations. Strikingly, all CPs exhibit remarkable catalytic performance for several substrates. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that a small organic acid as SDA was used in the syntheses of resorcin[4]arene-based supramolecular isomers.
