Abstract
The paper details an electrochemical method that couples olefins with benzotriazoles to form C(sp2)-N bonds, enabling the synthesis of N-vinyl benzotriazoles in moderate to good yields. nBu4NI functions as both an electrolyte and an iodine mediator, and the method does not require oxidants or metals. It is a highly atom-economical and clean reaction, with hydrogen as the sole byproduct.

Abstract
Efficient gas separation and purification play a vital role in the current advanced development of industry, and the application of MOF adsorbents in this area with highly technical materials shows obvious advantages. On the basis of reticular chemistry, the 4-c lvt MOF adsorbent [CuDTTA]·3DMF·CH3CN has been constructed (CuDTTA; H2DTTA = 2,5-bis(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)terephthalic acid). CuDTTA reveals a multiple-micropore system and high-density active sites decorated on the channel surfaces, which are conducive to its extraordinary selectivity of CO2/CH4 and C2H2/CH4 (29 and 166, 1:1). In combination with an analysis of Qst values, CuDTTA possesses the synergistic effect of size sieving and abundant functional sites, significantly improving the gas adsorption and separation performance. Meanwhile, the results also reveal that functional sites have a stronger binding affinity toward C2H2 with respect to CO2. Such a conclusion renders CuDTTA to be a promising adsorbent material for industrial applications.

Abstract
By introducing a bis-pyrazole-bis-amide ligand, N,N'-bis(1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide)-1,4-benzene (L), two molybdate-based metal-organic complexes containing {M2(MoO4)2} n (M = Co, Zn), [Co2L2(MoO4)2]·H2O (1), [Zn2L2(MoO4)2]·H2O (2), have been prepared under hydrothermal/solvothermal conditions. X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that both 1 and 2 are isostructural. An interesting structural feature is that a kind of {M2(MoO4)2} n chain could be found in 1 and 2, although different raw materials [Mo7O24]6- and [PMo12O40]3- anions were utilized. Then these chains are further linked by L ligands into a two dimensional (2D) structure. The title complexes represent the first examples containing {MoO4} units and pyrazole-/or amide-derivative ligands. Complexes 1 and 2 exhibit distinct performances due to different metal centers, with 2 acting as a fluorescent sensor for Fe3+, MnO4 -, CrO4 2- and Cr2O7 2-, but 1 being a better photocatalyst towards degradation of cationic dyes methylene blue (MB) and neutral red (NR).

Abstract
Postsynthetic metalation (PSM) has been employed as a robust method for the postsynthetic modification of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). However, the lack of relevant information that can be obtained for the postsynthetically introduced metallic ions has hindered the development of PSM applications. Thanks to the advancement in single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD) technology, there have been a few recent examples in which successful postsynthetic introduction of single metal ions into MOFs occurred at the defined chelating sites. These works have provided useful explanations about the complicated host-guest chemistry involved in PSMs. On the other hand, there are only limited examples with crystallographic snapshots of the postsynthetic installation of metal clusters into the pores of MOFs using an ordinary SCXRD due to the loss of crystallinity of parent matrix during the PSM process. Herein, by the careful selection of starting materials and controlling the reaction conditions, we report the first crystallographic visualization of metal clusters inserted into Zr-based MOFs via PSM. The structural advantages of the parent Zr-MOF, which are inherited from the stable Zr6 cluster and triazole-containing dicarboxylate ligand, ensure both the preservation of high crystallinity and the presence of flexible coordination sites for PSM. Furthermore, PSM of metal clusters in a MOF pore space enhances stability of the final samples while also imparting the functionality of a successful catalyst toward ethylene dimerization reaction. The related construction ideas and structural information detailed in this work can help lay the foundation for further advancements using the postmodification of MOFs as well as open new doors for the utilization of SCXRD technology in the field of MOFs.
