Abstract
A catalyst- and temperature-controlled selective synthesis of sulfonamide and sulfones from N-tosylhydrazones and MBH carbonates has been developed. The use of palladium catalysts exclusively leads to sulfonamide products at room temperature, whereas the selective synthesis of sulfones is dominant for a temperature-controlled coupling reaction without palladium catalysis. Importantly, the catalyst- or temperature-controlled reaction exhibits high nucleophilicity rather than carbene reactivity in these transformations.

Abstract
Imidazopyridine is an important framework that constitutes several pharmaceutical drugs and biologically active molecules. Herein, we present the palladium-catalyzed regioselective C3-allylic alkylation of 2-aryl imidazopyridines with MBH carbonates. This strategy furnishes a broad spectrum of C3-allylated imidazopyridines, and their structures have been unequivocally established using X-ray analysis. Besides, the reaction can be easily scaled up on a gram scale, and the ensuing product can be smoothly manipulated into synthetically useful entities.

Abstract
Synthesis of 1,4-enynes was performed via nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling of allylic alcohols with alkynylzinc reagents. The reaction features high regio- and E/Z-selectivity when aryl-substituted allylic alcohols were employed. The method also exhibits a wide scope of substrates and good compatibility of functional groups.

Abstract
We report the first catalyst-free and trans-selective iodoalkylation reaction of alkynes with a series of α-carbonyl compounds. This unprecedented three-component iodoalkylation reaction is enabled by using (iodoethynyl)trimethylsilane as a radical initiator and iodide source. The 1,2-difunctionalization affords alkenyl iodides, which are versatile building blocks for the construction of tri-substituted alkene derivatives.
