Abstract
The mol-ecule of the title compound, C17H11NO2S, is almost planar, with an inter-planar angle of 3.01 (3)° between the benzo-thia-zole and chromene ring systems. A short intra-molecular S⋯O=C contact of 2.727 (2) Å is observed. The crystal packing involves a layer structure parallel to (211), containing dimeric inversion-symmetric units connected by a 'weak' C-H⋯O=C hydrogen bond.

Abstract
2-Aminobenzothiazoles comprise a valuable structural motif, which prevails in versatile natural products and biologically active compounds. Herein, a switchable and scalable C-N coupling protocol was developed for the synthesis of these compounds from 2-chlorobenzothiazoles and primary amines. Gratifyingly, this protocol was achieved under transition-metal-free and solvent-free conditions. Moreover, introducing an appropriate amount of NaH completely switched the selectivity from mono- toward di-heteroarylation, and further investigations provided a rationale for this new finding. Furthermore, gram-scale synthesis of representative products 3a and 4a was realized by applying operationally simple and glovebox-free procedures, which revealed the practical usefulness of this work. Finally, evaluation of the quantitative green metrics provided evidence that our protocol was superior over the literature ones in terms of green chemistry and sustainability.

Abstract
A regio and diastereoselective strategy has been developed for the synthesis of complex bicyclo[3.2.1]octane scaffolds from the reaction of readily accessible vinylogous carbonates with N-substituted hydroxylamine hydrochlorides via intramolecular 1,3-dipolar nitrone cycloaddition reaction. Wide varieties of bicyclic isoxazolidines were synthesized in high yields under catalyst free conditions through a highly efficient and operationally simple protocol.

Abstract
This paper describes a new synthetic strategy for the construction of tricyclic chromeno/quinolino furan frameworks via creation of two new rings and three contiguous stereogenic centers with high diastereoselectivity through a rhodium-catalyzed intramolecular carbonyl ylide cycloaddition reaction for the first time. This protocol allows the synthesis of the core ring system of natural products such as cordigol and lophirone H.

Abstract
A site-selective ruthenium-catalyzed keto group assisted C–H bond activation of 2-aryl tetrahydroquinoline (azaflavanone) derivatives has been achieved with a variety of alkenes for the first time. A wide range of substrates was utilized for the synthesis of a wide variety of alkenylated azaflavanones. This simple and efficient protocol provides the C5-substituted azaflavanone derivatives in high yields with a broad range of functional group tolerance. Further, the C5-alkenylated products were converted into substituted 2-aryl quinoline derivatives in good yields. A site-selective ruthenium-catalyzed keto group assisted C–H bond activation of 2-aryl tetrahydroquinoline (azaflavanone) derivatives has been achieved with a variety of alkenes for the first time.![]()

Abstract
An unprecedented domino protocol for the novel synthesis of highly diverse and functionalized tetrahydro pyranopyrazole scaffolds using chalcone epoxide has been reported for the first time. This synthetic protocol generates three consecutive stereogenic centres in a highly diastereoselective manner with the formation of vicinal diol and a quaternary carbon centre. A wide range of substrates were utilized for the scope of this methodology and provided very good yields of pyranopyrazoles. The pyranopyrazoles were also transformed into densely functionalized tetrasubstituted olefins. An unprecedented domino protocol for the novel synthesis of highly diverse and functionalized tetrahydro pyranopyrazole scaffolds using chalcone epoxide has been reported.![]()

Abstract
A new one pot assembly of highly functionalized benzo[a]phenazinone fused chromene/bicyclic scaffolds via a domino Knoevenagel intramolecular hetero-Diels-Alder (IMHDA) strategy using a solid state melt reaction (SSMR) of 2-hydroxynaphthalene 1,4-dione, o-phenylenediamine, O-allyl salicylaldehyde/O-vinyl salicylaldehyde derivatives is reported. The formation of five new bonds (two C-C bonds and three C-O bonds), three six-membered rings, and three stereogenic centers in a one-pot manner is very attractive. Ease of reaction with short time, good yields with water as the only byproduct and work up free procedure are some of the excellent features of the present protocol.

Abstract
A novel multicomponent quadruple domino reaction (MCQDR) for the assembly of structurally complex molecular architectures via the formation of three rings and three contiguous stereogenic centers has been accomplished with high regio- and diastereoselectivity. Solvents, catalysts and work-up were not required to obtain the target molecules. In addition, this new protocol is also extended for the multicomponent double quadruple domino reaction (MCDQDR) to create novel polyheterocyclic architectures in an orthogonal manner.

Abstract
An efficient step-economical tandem approach for the direct synthesis of pyrido fused indole, quinoline, benzofuran and benzothiophene derivatives using a bimetallic Pd/Cu catalytic system has been described. The three component reaction of o-halo aldehydes, alkynes and tert-butylamine leads to the synthesis of biologically active polyheterocycles. The present strategy involves the dual role of tert-butylamine and copper(i) in Sonogashira coupling followed by electrophilic cyclization through imine formation. The chemistry has been validated by X-ray crystallographic studies.

Abstract
The title compound, C19H13N3S·0.5H2O, is a benzothiazole derivative that crystallized as a hemihydrate, the water O atom being situated on a twofold rotation axis. The dihedral angles between the central benzene ring and the benzothiazole (r.m.s. deviation = 0.012 Å) and pyridine rings are 3.57 (6) and 10.12 (8)°, respectively, indicating that the molecule is nearly planar. The conformation about the N=C bond is E. In the crystal, molecules are linked by Owater—H...Npyridine hydrogen bonds, forming dimers, which in turn are linked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds into layers parallel to the ab plane. The layers are linked by offset π–π interactions, forming a three-dimensional network [shortest intercentroid distance = 3.721 (2) Å].
