Abstract
The integration of umpolung and carbon isotope exchange for accessing isotopically labeled α-keto acids through photoredox catalysis is elucidated. This process involves the carbonyl umpolung of C(sp2)-α-keto acids to yield C(sp3)-α-thioketal acids, followed by the carbon isotope exchange of C(sp3)-α-thioketal acids, and ultimately, deprotection to generate carbon-labeled α-keto acids.

Abstract
A hydroamination of unactivated alkynes and lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (LiN(SO2F)2) is described under mild conditions, affording a single regioisomer of the sulfonyl fluorides. This method features broad functional group compatibility and delivers the target vinyl fluorosulfonimides in good to excellent yields. Moreover, gram-scale hydroamination of terminal and internal alkynes is achieved. Further transformations exploiting the reactivity of the vinyl fluorosulfonimide are subsequently developed for the synthesis of fluorosulfates and diphenyl sulfate.

Abstract
Carboxylic acids are widely found in natural products and bioactive molecules and have served as raw material compounds in industry. We now report the first example of copper(I)-catalyzed carboxyl transfer annulation of propiolic acids with amines, thereby chemodivergently constructing the oxazolidine-2-ones. In this reaction, two kinds of key propargyamine intermediates were formed through sequential CuI/NBS-catalyzed oxidative deamination/decarboxylative alkynylation or CuI-catalyzed decarboxylative hydroamination/alkynylation. The advantages of this decarboxylative coupling/carboxylative cyclization are showcased in the atom economy, chemical specificity, and functional group tolerance.

Abstract
1,4-Diamino-2-butynes display both chemical and physiological properties. Here a highly efficient synthesis avenue to generate unsymmetric 1,4-diamino-2-butynes has been developed by microwave-assisted Cu(I)-catalyzed cross-A3-coupling/decarboxylative coupling of two different amines, formaldehyde, and propiolic acid through a domino process. This multicomponent reaction provides a series of target products in moderate to good yields with high chemoselectivity.

Abstract
The catalytic potential of ammonium halide salts was explored in the coupling reaction of a model aziridine with carbon dioxide, highlighting the superior activity of [NH2Et2]I. Then, working at room temperature, atmospheric CO2 pressure and in the absence of solvent, the [NH2Et2]I-catalyzed synthesis of a series of 5-aryl-2-oxazolidinones was accomplished in good to high yields and excellent selectivity, from 2-aryl-aziridines with N-methyl or N-ethyl groups. NMR studies and DFT calculations outlined the pivotal role of both the diethylammonium cation and the iodide anion. The proposed method represents a convenient choice for obtaining a limited number of valuable molecules for which more complex and more expensive catalytic systems have been reported even in recent years.

Abstract
An efficient one-pot synthesis of oxazolidinones was developed through CuI/DBU/MS joint system-catalyzed carboxylative cyclization of arylacetylene, arylaldehyde, and arylamine in water medium under a 1 atm carbon dioxide (CO2) atmosphere. The 4 Å molecular sieves (MSs) were added to improve CO2 capture and facilitate carboxylation to give the products in high yields. The CuI/DBU/MS system is robust and highly effective for the reactions with different substrates, and some target products were obtained in an excellent yield of ∼96%, with no side products in the final step.

Abstract
The development of sustainable synthetic routes to access valuable oxazolidinones via CO2 fixation is an active research area, and the aziridine/carbon dioxide coupling has aroused a considerable interest. This reaction features a high activation barrier and thus requires a catalytic system, and may present some other critical issues. Here, the straightforward gram-scale synthesis of a series of 5-aryl-2-oxazolidinones was developed at ambient temperature and atmospheric CO2 pressure, in the absence of any catalyst/co-catalyst. The key to this innovative procedure consists in the direct transfer of the pre-formed amine/CO2 adduct (carbamate) to common aziridine precursors (dimethylsulfonium salts), replacing the classical sequential addition of amine (intermediate isolation of aziridine) and then CO2 . The reaction mechanism was investigated by NMR spectroscopy and DFT calculations applied to model cases.
