Abstract
This paper reports the development in aqueous solution of mixed micelles of tunable cloud point temperature through blending in various proportions of two copolymers of different chemical natures. For that purpose, a lipid-b-poly(2-isopropyl-2-oxazoline) (lipid-b-P(iPrOx)) copolymer, self-assembling into thermosensitive micelles that phase-separate above a cloud point temperature of 38 °C, was blended in various proportions with commercial C18-b-PEOx. The latter was constituted of a hydrophobic saturated C18 chain and a hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) block with varying polymerization degrees (x) and does not have any thermosensitive properties on the studied temperature range for any value of x. The different blends were thoroughly characterized by light scattering and UV-visible spectroscopy, revealing that hybridization between both copolymers always occurred, independent of the PEO block length. The resulting mixed micelles present TCP values progressively increasing with the C18-b-PEOx proportion, from 38 to 61 °C. This study demonstrates the relevance of the blending approach to tune the phase separation of micellar systems by formulation rather than by more tedious synthetic efforts. Shifting TCP through this approach extends the range of temperature where lipid-b-P(iPrOx) can find an application.

Abstract
Facing the growing demand in nano drug delivery systems (nDDS), hybrid excipients based on natural molecules and well-defined synthetic polymers are intensively investigated. Lipopolyoxazolines (LipoPOx) composed of a polyoxazoline block (POx) and a lipid or lipid-like derivative are detailed in this review. The nature of lipids used, the route to synthesize LipoPOx and their advantages for the formulation of drugs are reported. The place of POx family in nanomedicine is discussed compared to PEG, considered as the gold standard of hydrophilic polymers. LipoPOx nanoformulations including liposomes, mixed micelles, lipid nanocapsules are provided alongside discussion of the nDDS for intravenous or topical administration.

Abstract
Constructing noncovalent interactions has been a benign method to tune the stimuli responsivity and assembled structure of polymers in solution; this is essential for controlling the functions and properties of stimuli-responsive materials. Herein, we demonstrate a novel supramolecular strategy to manipulate the cloud point (Tcp) and assembled structure of thermoresponsive polymers in solution by using H-bonding interactions. We use poly(lactide-co-glycolide)-b-poly(ethylene glycol)-b- poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA-PEG-PLGA) as a model thermoresponsive polymer and functionalize its chain terminals by the self-complementary quadruple H-bonding motif, 2-ureido-4[1H]-pyrimidinone (UPy). UPy end functionalization and increasing PLGA block length decrease the Tcp of copolymer. Both UPy- and nonfunctionalized copolymers form the spherical micelles at low temperature. They undergo the intermicellar aggregation and form large compound micelles during heating; this thermally induced structural transition causes the presence of Tcp. Due to the UPy-UPy H-bonding interactions, UPy end functionalization leads to more copolymer chains to associate in one micelle, thus, enhancing the hydrodynamic, gyration radii, core size, as well as the packing density of PLGA in micelle core and grafting density of PEG on core-shell interface. The decreased Tcp of UPy-functionalized copolymer stemmed from the stronger intermicellar attractions at high temperature. Furthermore, UPy-functionalized copolymers exhibit higher drug loading content, slower drug release rate, and better separation efficiency in removing the hydrophobic substances from water than PLGA-PEG-PLGA precursors.

Polyoxazolines based mixed micelles as PEG free formulations for an effective quercetin antioxidant topical delivery. Int J Pharm 2019; 570:118516. Abstract
This study aims to prove the value of the polyoxazolines polymer family as surfactant in formulations for topical application and as an alternative to PEG overuse. The amphiphilic polyoxazolines (POx) were demonstrated to have less impact on cell viability of mice fibroblasts (NIH3T3) than their PEG counterparts. Mixed micelles, made of POx and phosphatidylcholine, were manufactured using thin film and high pressure homogenizer process. The mixed micelles were optimized to produce nanosized vesicles of about 20 nm with a spherical shape and stable over 28 days. The natural lipophilic antioxidant, quercetin, was successfully encapsulated (encapsulation efficiency 94 ± 4% and drug loading 3.6 ± 0.2%) in the mixed micelles with no morphological variation. Once loaded in the formulation, the quercetin impact on cell viability of NIH3T3 was decreased while its antioxidant activity remained unchanged. This work highlights the capacity of amphiphilic POx to create, in association with phospholipids, stable nanoformulations which show promise for topical delivery of antioxidant and ensure skin protection against oxidative stress.

Abstract
A time-saving phase-diagram screening is introduced for the self-assembly of miktoarm star polymers with different arm numbers for the insoluble part. Agreeing with theory, all conventional micellar morphologies (spherical star-like micelles, cylindrical micelles and vesicles) can be accessed by adjusting the average arm number when blending miktoarm stars with diblock copolymers (at constant arm/block lengths). Additionally, a rare clustered vesicle phase is detected. Hence, this approach permits an easy tuning of the equilibrium morphology and the size of the solvophobic domain. Such screening by scattering, ultracentrifugation, and electron microscopy techniques assists the targeted synthesis of miktoarm stars with a well-defined arm number, aimed at the morphology control of the nanostructures without blending. Specifically, we demonstrate a systematic variation of all classical micellar morphologies based on interpolyelectrolyte complexes (IPECs), consisting of a water-insoluble part formed by electrostatically coupled poly(styrenesulfonate) chains/quaternized poly(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) blocks, being stabilized by hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) blocks.
